Have you tried the crack in the third CD? I think it's the solution even if I d'ont understand why it doesn't work after having the file mounted.

Can anybody explain to me what you need to do to play... i've tried a couple of times but failed every single time 
anyways when i try to apply the patch after i copied the crack it says the version is already higher than the patch and then when i try to play i get an error that it couldn't find ordinal 569 in the storm.dll, so im lost

This is ridiculous, theres like 300 ppl d/ling the game but it doesn't work. For those that find a way please post it because i'm experiencing the same difficulty.
Using the crack just makes it say storm.dll can't be found.
And mounting just doesn't work.
I can't find cracks on the net for it either, plz help out if you find a way to make this file work ie. POST IT for us poor souls that spent hrs d/ling this apparent dud.

I am having some trouble with starting up the game. I start up the game with war3.exe, but when I start it up, it says "Could not open Game.dll." This is after I fixed the problem of storm.dll and mss32.dll by searching them in my war3 folder and copy/pasting it into my cracked folder. I was having trouble with the GameCopyWorld thing, and also wasn't sure if I was extracting things correctly. Is there some kind of .txt or some kind of intructions on installing this that I am not finding?
Could someone please help explain these things to me?

The game works but the patch in cd iso3 is incorrect. I´ve downloaded the War3TFT_120c_English patch from the blizzard web page. After installing the correct patch, use the crack in the cd iso3 folder.
If you do this, you can play the game.

OK...So this is all I did to get frozen throne to run from the cd. First, after I got the three ISO's and burned the second one (Frozen Throne)to a cd using NERO. With this done, I then inserted the burned FT disk that I created into my cd drive and installed it (everything should run smoothly up to here.) After installing is where most people run into problems. To fix this, I unzipped the third iso that was downloaded and used the PATCH to update warcraft to the specific version needed to run the crack. From here, I copied all of the files in the CRACK folder to the WARCRAFT III folder in your directory. Now just put the FT CD in your drive and enjoy. Hope this helps somebody...THX!!!

I didn't have any problems doing this. instructions:
1. Install Warcraft III.
2. Install Frozen Throne.
3. Go into the third ISO and apply the patch. This upgrades your version into 1.18 (although Blizzard has released version 1.20d).
4. Take everything from the Crack folder and put it into your Warcraft installation directory. You will overwrite some files.
5. Now you can run the game as normal, but without a cd. Run Reign of Chaos at Warcraft III.exe and Frozen Throne at Frozen Throne.exe

MegaMD, the full name of Warcraft III is Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos.
The Frozen Throne is the expansion pack.

lol the only drawback with downloaded games is that u cannot play online (in this case bnet) unless u have an original cd key, this applies to all games not just w3
ah good old war3 ripped up my old cds 2 years ago becasue i was addicted and doing my final year.

ive extracted everything and installed warcraft, when i go to install frozen throne about half way through i get this error

I've got to ask, how do I instal either W3 or TFT, because if I put the image in a drive and try to open it or explore and use the setup file I get an error about not having the CD in the drive.

Btw my instructions get ride of that pesky no-cd error your all so worried about, and storm dll guys, you've missed a few steps along the way, the file is not missing, i had the same problem at first, missed a step......wasting my time.........

don't know if anyone still needs to know but this is how i got it to play: 1.mounted files using daemon tools
2.installed Rein of Chaos and frozen throne
3. copied the files from the crack folder and pasted them into
the program files folder and it worked simple as pie(shudn't
say that because i must have tried all the methods on here)
then used angelface's method and just didn't bother to
look for cracks on sites.

this works!!! You must do following:1. extract all the data to any folder.
2. install warcraft III
3. install warcraft III the frozen throne
4. go to crack folder.(dont mount any images its not required) there ull find some files.copy and paste all those files (ull be asked to overwrite some files because they already exists.so overwritethem) to folder where u installed the game.
5. run war3.exe (not "Warcraft III" or Frozen Throne" and the game will start.(after first time u run the game u can start it with original shortcuts)
If that doesint work mail me to takrivis@one.lt probably the crack is wrong. Ill give u link to download the crack that I used

umm my war3.exe file is not working...
this is wat i did....
1 downloaded the file(took me 3hour and a half)
2i mounted the images using deamon tools
3i installed warcraft 3 reign of chaos
4i installed frozen throne
i used the serials from the serial folder inside the file i downloaded
thats it thats what i did...but my war3.exe icon isn't appearing and when i click(still without the logo of the icon)it doesnt launch anything at all
how do i fiz this...i got no problems with the storm.dll coz its already in the warcraft folder
this is my problem so far...plsss help me

ok nvm i think i got it...i copied and pasted the stuff inside the crack folder into the folder wer i installed it then i clicked the war3.exe and it worked...not sure if i can play it yet though maybe tomorow ill try it

Why don't you download the Dota-Allstar version 6.41 which is play without build units. You can choose hero immediatly to play.

I have downloaded the torrent and everything works except the reign of chaos rar/zip file. When i got to open it is says "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged"
Im using winrar to unzip it, it worked for the other files. Does this mean I have to download a seperate copy of reign of chaos or does someone know how to solve this?

The GAME WORKS FIIINEEE.
Install Reign of Chaos.
Install Frozen Throne.
(In disk 3 u can find both serials).
Install Patch.
Copy the files of Crack Folder to the directory u installed War III.
Double click the game u want to run. I didn;t use something else - or downloaded any other programme. Just do this. Simple.

i get the error:
setup was unable to read the following file. your warcraft 3 cd may not have been in the cdrom drive.
setupdat/setup.vis
but the file is mounted with poweriso.

All i did to get the game up and runing was:
1.Install Warcraft III Reign of chaos
2.Install Frozen Throne
3.Update the game using blizzard updater in Cracks File.
4.Then i copy everything from crack file and paste is on game's folder
(where you installed the game)
I did all that and It's working fine
It's a awesome game

I've done everything that other forums and sites have told me to do... and there have been some common problems (for example the storm.dll) that i've dealt with, but theres one with a file called mss32.dll that i have a problem with. When i try to open Frozen Throne an error message pops up that says
"The procedure entry point _AIL_set_3D_distance_factor@8 could not be located in the dynamic link library mss32.dll" I dunno what this means, but i googled it and only two things came up. One thing it useless, and the other was in French. I got my mom (she speaks french) to translate, and that was no good either. I just can't figure it out. Anyone who can shed any light on my problem, post back or e-mail me ezra_jordan@hotmail.com

Hi guys. First of all hats off to the uploader and other commentors who've contributed their tips. I have successfully installed The Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne, i.e. can play without a CD. I also did what has been advised by the others, which is the following:

1. Burn the 3 CD images into 3 separate CDs.
2. Beware that the Installation Keys can be found in the downloaded folder or in the 3 CD.
3. Run & install the 1st CD (Reign of Chaos)
4. Run & install the 2nd CD (The Frozen Throne). I encountered a msg saying some file was an error or something like that when it was near the end of this installation but I just clicked OK and it still worked fine.
5. Open the 3rd CD: Run the Patch program 1st (it might take 3 seconds to load, be patient until you see some installation progress)
6. Still in the 3rd CD: Copy all the files in the folder "CRACK", replace the ones in the game directory (often C:programfiles/warcraft)
7. Then you can play by either clicking the icon on your Desktop (if you've chosen to install a desktop shortcut) or it'll be in START>PROGRAM>WARCRAFT>REIGNOFCHAOS or THEFROZENTHRONE

I feel really stupid asking this, but everytime I dowload a torrent, I never find an .iso file. I usually find a .ico file that's usually called appicon. Is there some mistake I'm making? Do I need another program? Yea, so, I never find an image to mount on Daemon. Kinda tired of it. So any help would be appreciated.

GothicKnight, this torrent contains both Reign of Chaos and the Frozen Throne.
I think .iso file is an image file where you can burn straight away into a CD.

i got this to work... here's what i did:
- use PowerISO and mount disc 3. (if you dont have PowerISO, then download a copy...)
- open Serial.txt at the Serial directory and get the cd keys for Warcraft 3 and Frozen Throne (write them down!)
- (using PowerISO again), unmount disc 3, then mount disc 1. the warcraft installer should automatically start.
- install warcraft 3 (reign of chaos) using the provided cd key.
- (using PowerISO again), unmount disc 1, then mount disc 2
- install frozen throne using the provided cd key
- download patch v1.21 (or whatever is the latest) from blizzard, and apply patch.
- note that since patch v1.21 allows you to play without a cd, you will no longer need the crack.
- also note that you will not be able to play online at battle.net as the included/provided cd key has already been banned by blizzard.
this is a more detailed version of angelface's guide at #13, except for the no-cd crack (which you don't need anymore courtesy of patch v1.21).

if you wish to play online, you have to buy the game and get your own cd key...
Or you can also try searching the net for a working (and virus/trojan-free) keygen... i have tried searching, but so far most have been quarrantined by my Kaspersky anti-virus. there were two keygens for frozen throne that weren't quarrantined, but i haven't tested them yet... i'll try to test them once i have more time and hopefully make an update soon.

Damn..i'm off from the subject...it worked great...Steps :
1. install both images (1 and 2 )
2. with the help of deamon tools or any other similar program copy the folders in the 3rd image somewhere on the desktop

Here's an easy way in 8 steps.
1) Mount the image files (iso, cue, etc.)
2) Install Warcraft III
3) Install Frozen Throne
4) Go to Blizzard.com and download patches for this game
5) Go to gamecopyworld.com and find the No-CD cracks which have the exact same version as the Patch versions.
6) Install the Patches
7) Follow the instructions that came with the No-CD Cracks (most likely overwriting some .dll and war3.exe files)
8) Have fun playing the game.
Reason why I added the patch and No-CD crack thing is that you'll be up to date with the patches, means you'll get less errors in the game.
Also download the patches and cracks before game download....Trust me.........its Seeds **** big Time.

this is an old version.. patches included in here are 1.18 very old!

He has patch 1.21b which is the latest patch and NO LONGER REQUIRES CD! Dont go through all the trouble with this torrent, it makes u go to some offsite to download no cd-cracks which doesnt even support the latest patch because it's no longer needed!

I wish people would be more helpful. Did anyone actually realised that this game is a rip from the APPLE/MAC cds. Does not work with windows even tho' they uploaded it in the windows section. I use MacDrive 6 and it allows windows to recognise the iso files but will not install it because i'm not using a Mac computer.

It worked!!!
I did like makikost told. First, after intalling both versions, COPY the Patch to the folder and then apply it. After that, put the crack.

IT WORKS.
all u need to do is get a new patch from blizzard "War3TFT_122a_English"
i did it a differnt and what i think is much easier.
1)extract all 3 files using winRAR.
2)install in correct order of folders using the executable "install" 
3)download patch from blizzard.
4)install patch
5)have a beautiful night with my friend dota.
i also used a keygen to get a key to install both with just so i could play online.

Hey Frnds!
After you've installed the game, DONT COPY the crack files or the
Patch to the destination folder!
Just goto blizzard (.) com and download the v1.22 patches for both
ROC and TFT.
Paste the patches in the game destination folder and run them, and you'll be good to go!!!

1) I placed the 3 .rar files individually into seperate folders.
2) Installed Warcraft 3 and Frozen Throne.
3) One of the .rar files should contain the serial, crack AND patch. The 3rd step is to patch the game using that patch.(DO NOT FORGET TO RIGHT CLICK AND "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR"!!!) Patch should be 1.18, not 1.20c or d. The crack is only for ver 1.18.
4) After you patch it to 1.18, go to the crack folder and copy all contents into the program files/warcraft III folder.
5) To launch Frozen Throne, click war3.exe (and not Frozen Throne.exe !!!). War3.exe should be a 456kb application file.
6) play.

I have both C.D.'s unfortunatly my computer destroyed them, and I had to reinstall the game cause my friend f'ed with the files. I downloaded this in hopes that I could plug in my paid for C.D. keys and still be able to play the game online.
I have successfully installed both using this torrent, am able to play single player, but am unable to go online. I get the following message when I attempt to enter Bnet
"Unable to validate game version. Please reconnect to Battlenet.com, or apply current game patch manually"

just mount the games 1st war.3 install it with a serial key. 2nd frozen the install with serial key. then mount the third iso it will open a folder
with 3 files patch crack and serial (you dont need the serial because you already installed the games with the serials, see comment above)
open the crack folder copy all the files, paste the in the warcraft folder,
and patch the game with the patch!

Hi! I installed this game a while ago. I already had Reign of Chaos in my pc, installed and playable. It gave me the same problems as pointed in all your comments (the storm.dll, the patch that was a lower version) and I thought that the problem was in the crack files. I downloaded another one and the game now is working! Just go to:

and it should work. I only wrote 'frozen throne crack' in the google search box. It's not difficult. Enjoy

This torrent works 100%!
Steps to make it work
1)Download "power ISO" goggle it and you should be able to find the software.
(that's what i use any other should work just fine)
2) Mount it into CD driver.
(for new .ISO user, try figuring it out, it's not that hard! )
3) Install Disc 1
(CD key WORKS!)
4) Install Disc 2
(CD key WORKS!)
5) IMPORTANT! DO NOT CRACK THE FILE! I REPEAT DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING AT "CRACK FOLDER!"
(once you crack, the file might be mess up!)
6) Once you've installed both the disc. goggle "CUTEWORM"
(a site where it offer the patches, which work8
7) Download Step 1, 2, 3 and install them.
(kindly install them STEP BY STEP!)
8)You're done!
NOTES!
WARCRAFT 3 actually patch to 124b and user is able to play without CD! Hence, cracking the file can be skip.
If there's error while patching on STEP 3, try patching it again.
This key might not entitle you to play on Bnet.
(You new real keys)
I use GAREANA to play online, works pretty well.

canthepies, i did face the same problem as you. did u patch it correctly? the first time i re install warcraft 3, strom error occur too. so i totally uni-install it. delete the folder in my C drive and re install it. this time, i didn't even try to run the game until the whole patch is done.
1234567890RANGA, bizzard release 1.24b with offical no cd patch. hence, patch it to 1.24b and u got the game running without cd. (NOT REFERING TO BNET!)

To any one has this problem "couldn't find ordinal 569 in the storm.dll" under VISTA:
Follow 151, fuhl_gear's direction. Pay attention on the 3rd step, I need to put some extra words here. You have to run the patch. It doesn't need to be within the same folder as the game. Just run it, and a msg box shows you update is complete, then follow the rest procedures.

Ive downloaded and installed both w3 and frozen throne. When i go to play i need the cd to be in the drive, otherwise i can't play it. So i mount the disk 1 file using daemon tools. But it still doesnt recognise it as in the cd drive.
Is there a different file i have to mount for it to work?
