Same problem as #18. Upon loading it up a window pops up that says "Failed to initialize renderer. Hardware T&L required but not supported by adapter" I'm running a 2 gig duo-core, I don't know why I wouldn't be able to support it (Unless of course Vista has something to do with it...) Any help is greatly appreciated as this is an AWESOME game!!!!!

downloaded and installed and started playing. no errors yet . Thanks a bunch. one thing i did was to burn the ISO image to an actual DVD instead of using some emulator.
@above
i. download the file.
ii. once downloaded, you need an emulating software like alcohol 120, Daemon tools or PowerISO (you can download these from mininova). get the software and mount the iso image file.
or burn the image file using Nero or some other burning software.
iii. once mounted/burned simply run the setup. and play.

Same problem, use ZoneAlarm....
I just installed "Fallout 3 v1.1.0.35 [ENGLISH] No-DVDFixed EXE.7z" from the same RELOADED-package. ZA doesnt displaying no trojan any more.
Maybe it will work for you too? If not say a word, maybe ZA is not so good as Kaspersky!

great game but for some stupid reason i can't get my gamepad to work grrrr. useing mouse and keyboard is effing gay seems like a lame game giant roaches and **** never played fallout 1 or 2 but hell if u like shooting games lmao you start with a BB gun and have to escape the vault 101 pfft i got ****** didnt get past that to hard to aim and shoot with keyboard ha so guess ill go **** around with the game try to get my gamepad to work grr any ideas?

Has anyone noticed a graphical error? I installed the game via Daemon and it works fine, but for some reason, the graphics aren't nearly as good as they could be. In the display option I have everything set to the highest setting and textures set to large, but for some reason the graphics look very meh. The game runs perfectly (no lag or crashing) so I don't know what the problem could be...

The crash problem can be solved in some cases by d/l the patch from Bethesda. Do a clean boot as per MS msconfig method. Mine worked for a while, then crashed, installed patch, worked for a bit longer, then still crashed. I uninstalled and am going to retry with the msconfig method (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796). Will let you know if it works. Sound problems can be cleared up by changing your 5.1 back to stereo in the control panel. I could only mount the .iso with MagicISO. PowerISO does not recognize it, and it's too big to burn onto a regular DVD...I don't know how to fix this. If someone clears up the crash problem PLEASE POST.

Did not have any ASUS software except the update. Will uninstall and see if it makes any difference. When I clicked play. It crashed, went straight to Window error. Spent 10GB for this game alone after downloaded SKULPTURA as well. Same problem. Giving up
BTW, my kaspersky noted me that the FallOut Launcher is trying to access the password Storage area. Anyone know if this is ok? Got a bad feeling about this

Just finished downloading, installing as we speak. Have had some trouble, installer froze a few times due to Daemon Tools. If anyone has this too: just exit the installer, and restart the installation tool, it will continue where it froze the last time.
Seeding with a 100mbit line. Will max it out (offline game anyway, nothing else to do). Enjoy!

If you are trying to use PowerISO it wont work because the ISO is bigger than a single layer DVD. Have to use something else (or maybe a newer PowerISO) I used MagicISO and it worked fine.

I'm having here a very frustrating sittuation, i downloaded the game, used alcohol 120 and when i m trying to install it, it gives me this error message :Textures.bsa does not match the setups .cab file. I've download this twice now
I have experienced something similar to many other people
I was using magicISO to mount the disk. but it would always come up as CORRUPTED or unreadable or whatever
however the file is okay. utorrent says so.
I then tried using Alcohol 120% and it has seemed to work and asked me to install
i have yet to install though, but thats one problem solved.

it should do it for you.
if you dont have games for windows live account or whatever you can download a GFWL blocker, just google it.
i had to do this to get it to work

OK so here we go
first of all, game downloaded (by few hours I should notice) and installed. No crack required.
Game was perfectly playable, although when I tried to install some patches or expansions, :not find ordinal 5360: would appear.
Installation of LIVE games solved the problem, but then surprisingly game turned unstable...********about every 15 minutes, somtimes totally hanging out my comp.
By now I trying to re-install without LIVE games and expansions and see if it will stable, also trying other releases.
BTW peoples with VISTA - there are solutions at NEXUX forums

4.) Start the Launcher and lower all your settings including Resolution
( Dont forget to ENABLE Vsync to higher your framerate )

Sometimes I'm able to run the game for 2 hours with no crash or freeze but sometimes I get as many as 2 in 5 minutes.
So can someone tell me a solution for this?
