Yes, that is how I do it, it is common sense, but does not hurt to repeat it. However, there is a problem, sometimes the patch to a hacked program looks like a trojan to the anivirus and you cannot stop it from deleting it. Anyways, loosing a hacked program is much better than loosing your data or having to reinstal the whole computer (my personal record is 6 hours 
)
