You don't. It's a mix between Japanese and English. You should have no problems to understand it

what do i need to do to upgrade me slim from 3.71 m33 to 5.00 M33-4?

i dont have a pandora battery, but i can play most games. this is the first game that i encountered that i cant play

i been looking on *******.

i got half way thru an install and my psp said something like "incorrect file" lukily it didnt brick.

i think i'll hold off till i can get my friend to do it

Many of the tutorials are telling that you should upgrade to version 4 first then 5. As far as I know, you can update your PSP to ofw 5 then download the cfw 5.01 m33-4

PROBLEM SOLVED....

My firmware was 3.90m33
Updated it to 5.00m33-4 and now it works like a charm..

but needed to change the UMD settings in the recovery to SonyXXXXX (cant remember the numbers )

This is where I got the 5.00m33-4

it explains everything..I think you can directly go to 5.00m33-4 from any version higher then 3.71m33 ..

hey decemu..did you finish crimson rooms reverse...i think i have to find a second battery...the device wont work...but i cant find anythingelse..and i cant understand the japanese.

thanks guys it all works now, just make sure the 27megabyte file that u rename to 500.pbp is actually in the game/update folder if you have anything less than 5.00 to begin with.

most tutorials tell u to put the 500.pbp file into the game folder only
