I don't have the file yet, but if you haven't much experience with this downloads here is what to do.
1. EXTRACT IT WITH MAGIC ISO/POWER ISO
2. Read the README FILE, this always tell you what to do.
3.Install the program and close it after installation is done.
4. Look for a folder called CRACK, in this folder you can find like a shortcut that is going to be place in
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS3
5. With this crack you don't need a serial code, just copy and paste to the folder above. * if a message say(copy and replace) hit OK *

Does anyone else have the problem of "Please insert After Effects CS3 disk" after choosing the installation path?
This is after i've mounted a virtual disk and also trying to burn a disk and install from there with registered MagicISO 5.5.

well actually here comes the big idea...
just mount or burnthe .iuf file and copy the files on you desktop.
run the setup.exe and when it comes to install, you won't get the "please insert cs3" thing.

you can then extract with winrar or mount with daemontools or similar software.
No I didn't write this tool but it proves helpful.

well, you have to copy/paste the AfterFX.dll file from the crack folder to the support files before launching adobe AE.It will replace the existing AfterFX.dll. then you create a shortcut of the AfterFX.exe from the support files to your desktop, and just launch the application.
There's nothing else to do actually.

to all the people having trouble running the Setup.exe , i found the solution after searching for it,
Choose Start > All Programs > Accessories.
2. Right-click the Command Prompt icon, choose Run As Administrator, and authenticate.
3. Navigate to Windows\System32.
4. At the prompt, type regsvr32 jscript.dll and press Enter.
5. When a dialog box with the message "DllRegisterServer in jscript.dll succeeded" appears, click OK.

I've installed adobe after effects on my friends computer, so then I wen't home with all the stuff on a usb so I could put it on my laptop.
I"ve installed it but I'm having problems with the crack. I go to start > programs and click on adobe after effects (application). It comes up saying I need to type in the serial.
The thing is I have put afterFX/dll into C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS3\Support Files
but it still isn't working.
Help appreciated, it seems like a tricky problem.

If you reached the "insert the ae CS3 cd" message, then you already mounted your .iso file.
After you mounted it, copy/paste the folders on your desktop and launch the installation.
You shouldn't have any problems anymore.
After you installed it, just open the crack folder and take the AfterFX.dll file. COpy/paste it in C:/program files/adobe/adobe after effects CS3/support files.
Then copy/paste the AfterFX application on your desktop.
It should work without asking any serials.

note for people having trouble, just make sure to copy mounted files to your comp then start setup so it wont have the "insert your after effects cd to begin installing ****"
read notes from sorakm and follow step by step as i did and it will work fine!!!

I have had 2 major problems and solved them over weeks.
Now I am up to my 3rd and hopefully last problem.
I have to activate it so I click activate by internet but it sais activation unsuccessful.
Error Code 194:8
I have restarted it and tried it. Did not work.
I have reinstalled it and tried it. Did not work.
I must mention that I did use the above serial.
Help appreciated.
And one more thing can anyone tell me how to change my proxy settings?

Ok, Here's what to do, the install instructions ****!!
Scanned with Advast - Twice including crack, which is worthless..!
1. Download MAGICISO from download.com only! Trial is fine.
2. Open the file using MAGICISO, use the extract button, somewhere in the middle icons.
3. Extract to harddrive, don't waste time burning to CD..
4. Run setup.exe to install, use the serial number in the crack doc files.
5. The program will say expired after you install.
6. Copy the AfterFX.dll into the directory where installed, usually programfiles/adobe/aftereffects, just do a search for the file and replace it!
That's it. So far seems to be working.

I ve tried EVERYTHING you say, but when i run setup it gives me ONLY the option to install Adobe Video Profiles.
It last 3 Secs and thats it...
No After Effects installed...

best way 2 do it is extract to desktop then install it dont run it yet tho.
once the install is complete got to the crack folder and copy the AfterFX.dll file and paste it in this folder
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS3\Support Files
or
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS3\Support Files
then go try it worked for me.

HELP!!! I unmounted the uif file and extracted to desktop but when i run setup, it ends with only the components being successfully installed. Adobe After effects is not installed at all and when i go to see the files in program files, under adobe after effects, it only shows the one support files folder. The adobe bridges and devices are installed but even they don't work properly as it tell me to reinstall properly.
I am running it on a Vista btw, i saw some other people had trouble installing in vista as well. Any help is appreciated

hey i've extracted the file with magic iso, now im supposed to install it. anytime i click the setup.exe it comes up with a box asking my permission, i allow it and the box just simply goes away. i also did the command prompt. the little box came up that said it was succeeded but then nothing happened. i am using vista....any ideas???

Here's how to get it to work:
1. Use MagicISO to extract to a new folder on desktop.
2. Go to the folder you extracted the files.
3. Click the setup.
4. After the setup go to the crack folder in the files you extracted and find AfterFX.dll. Then COPY it.
5. Then go to where you put the Adobe After Effects CS3, most likely:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS3\Support Files
6. Then paste it there.

HELP!!!
Everytime I click "Setup" (running Vista 32-bit Home Premium) it initalizes, then says EXACTLY this, "Critical Errors were Found in Setup - session had dependencies that cannot be satisfied Please see setup log for details." If need you konw, this is what I did. Downloaded with BitTorrent (I downloaded the torrent here though) Then I right-clicked, selected Open Containing Folder, Icon being a gold disc representing that I have PowerISO. In PISO, I extracted the files to C:/Users/Bra*****. Then I opened Windows Explorer, found setup, double clicked, it started initializing, then gave me the error. I need AFX for a family reunion project and I need this by at the latest, 3.31.2009 ALL HELP ACCEPTED, IM DESPERATE!!!!!! Thanks!

I have a quite huge problem; "Cannot load required\ADMUI3.fon"
and right after "The licensing subsystem has failed catastrophically. You must reinstall or call customer support" (I've reinstalled quite a few times)

I've extracted the file after MagicISO to my desktop, i can run the SetUp.exe, but it only installs the shared components.
The actual software Adobe After Effects CS3 Pro says it wasnt installed.
Tried twice with a restart too, on Vista Home 32.
Any idea's pls?

hey man i just downloaded this and well i know how the install process goes but well my pc crashed last week so i repaired it and the guys at the repair store deleted all the programs so i had to redownload this again but now i keep getting the problem that when i go and install it asksk me for the CD i had problems with that before but i dont rememebr how i fixed it so please help! i just open the cd thign with magic ISO then extract the files to a foled on my Station D/ programfiles/Adobe DL and then i run setup but it keeps asking for the cd to put in anyway i know this dl works i just dont know how to install it but ill say thnks anyway

Nothing to do.
IF i copy that dll it seems like it messes everything up.
Every time i try to open the program, i get the microsoft blue screen error (most hated and incomprehensible error of this planet), and worst of it, it just doesn't show me a message but it RESTARTS immediately after 0.0000001 seconds not even leaving me to read what's going on.
With original dll everything is fine but ta-da i need the other dll to make it work.
So, how do i get out of this one?

Ok i was wrong. The program crashes when i ALT TAB to it, and maybe it has nothing to do with the dll.
But what the hell is it then?
I remember the same kind of error when playing at Colinmcrae (2005 i think), and when i alt tabbed to a program it was okay, but if i alt tabbed back to the game and didn't previously exited to menu or pause screen, i was ******* e d the same way o_o

ok i know the install steps and i did them but well my pc was down by me so i had it to the repair shop and now i have it back completely good but i lost Adobe after effects and i had thia download installed and it worked just fine but i cant remember how i installed it.. i did the steps extract with power ISO and then run setup but it keeps saying that i need to put in the cd n the drive to continue the installation i had this problem the first time to but i fixed it somehow but i cant remember how!!! please help i want and need this program very much

^ This works perfect, if you get the error "Insert CD" or what ever make sure you extract it, not mount! Important I tested it.

I had an issue at the start with the set-up getting so fat and then hanging.
I tried everything I could think of.
You wouldn't believe it, my anti virus was the issue.
I disabled while it installed and the program works fine.
Just do as it says above.
install and copy the DLL file to the install directory (use link properties and fin target and copy the DLL over the original)

i just tried it and i Extracted the files but now i dont get the error when i install saying : please insert cd.
Now i cant even start the Setup :S
Its says when i double click it it goes initialise or how you say im Dutch so... but back to my problem when its done initialising it says : at the installation an error ocurred and can not finish,
Erro 1311: Source file not found D/new map/ Winboostrapper1. cab. verifiy that the file exists and that you can acces it.
But when i check the map where i extracted all the downloaded files the Winboostrapper1 is just there i dont know what to do now please help is needed

Ok so i installed it, pasted the AfterFX.dll to the support files, it wasnt working. so i put this serial number that works and everything but still, always comes up a window saying: Product license has expired. :s

Ok guys. If you have been reading the directions other users have posted you are on the right track. In my personal experience I had to deal with Ae not being able to install at setup. If you get a window that says Internal Error 2739. Contact Customer Support. You have to do this:
Click Start > All Programs > Accessories.
Right-click on Command Prompt and choose Run As Administrator. On command prompt after c:\Windows\system32> ..you have to enter: regsvr32 jscript.dll ..and then enter key.
After that you can continue the installation. This usually happens with Adobe's software on installation.
Good luck and thanks to the uploader..It works like a champ.
Ps. Guys, on start up Ae takes a long time to run, is a heavy program.

for all those of you that are still having issues with the instalation, including vista. this is what you do:
1install magic iso and install magic disk(virtual drive).
2.mount affter effects file with magic disc
3.on magic disk find: "browse cd" and open
4.copy all files and paste it to your desktop
5.click the setup utility from icon on desktop and install program
6.close instal after succesful instalation. find crack folder(on desktop), copy and paste (AfterFX.dll) to: \Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS3\Support Files
7.run after effects from programs in start menu
8.DONE! Enjoy

AHHH i have extracted it with Magic ISO and ran the Setup from a folder on my desktop. It loads it up then at the system check it says:
"Adobe After Effects CS3 cannot be installed because it conflicts with:
Adobe After Effects Cs3"
WTF i have just extracted it and i ran it once and it said that...i have tryed a few times now but it just keeps coming up!!

ive read through ALL these comments, plus the thread for AAE CS4.
I would suggest if you are having problems:
CS3 (this torrent) Lots of people having trouble with Vista. try CS4 torrent, the later version instead; they would have worked out all the bugs by CS4 release
Otherwise, READ all these posts (though samyloki at #6 seems to be as good an explanation as any, but by reading them all you get it explained to you in lots of different ways:
its not always easy to understand ONE set of help, but read several and you begin to get a better idea what is going on.)
NEVER CONNECT TO THE INTERNET while extracting or running a set-up, and ASAP configure your firewall to deny access to the application. I unplug my router entirely when not specifically on-line or downloading.
