Interesting little documentary. It's amazing to see what 22 years of human absence from a city looks like. Then there's the radiation readings that were recorded - still rather harmful in some areas, especially near reactor 4 where the accident occurred. It's hard to believe that this disaster could have been much much worse than it was.

Thanks for this.. Im always interested in learning more about the disaster.
And yes the disaster could have been much worse.. it was a mere fluke that it wasnt.

PS Thanks for the tips Black Dalek, I have seen "Inside Chernobyl's Sarcophagus" (1996) already but will check the others out sometime..

I recommend everyone tries the fictional game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. if you are interested in the Chernobyl disaster.

This is a really well done documentary, its short but full of details and right to the point.
