Luke Rutherford is your average teenager – until his dead father's best friend, Rupert Galvin, turns up. Galvin has come to tell Luke his secret destiny: he's the real-life great-grandson of Abraham Van Helsing, the vampire hunter in Bram Stoker's Dracula. I hope so.. it's pretty good thus far but series 1 looks to be only 6 episodes long.

well... from the wikipediea description I'd say...
Take Buffy, change the characters and make the hero a guy in order not to have any "copyright" problems, and shoot...

Ruby??? Are you real. Since that part I found several things that were dead weight of the show. Come on the guy with the nose mask? What was that???
The little imp/familiar was pretty cool, but the dog warriors come on, I haven't seen twilight yet but if they show the werewolf I hope they are better designed man.
The blind girl is hot. Ruby not so much but its ok.
Hope for the show to get better and to last more than only 6 episodes.
