HA! I saw you, seeder! I saw you! You only may have connected to me for about ten minutes but I saw you! Now come back and help the rest of us finish the last 7%... come on... you can't hide forever. Just 7%... it's not very much, you know. Nothing more annoying than sitting in the 90 percentile for days and going nowhere... except maybe a tribe of herpes-ridden Tendas living in your bed, which is what I curse you with if you don't come back and be quick about it.

aczilla's right man, that's just 8 flavors of messed up. It's like being stuck in a desert for weeks and finally coming within inch-reach of food & water, then you get hit with a tranquilizer gun by a mob of evil monkeys with brain globes and purple capes! It's just not fair! This was my one and only opportunity to finally have obtained the full soundtrack! I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say "Please give us a seed!"
Thank you! :O

well I've managed to connect to more than one seeder over the last few days... but I can't get past 92.3% because certain pieces keep failing the hash check and re-downloading. I'm stuck in an infinite loop not being able to finish and there seems to be no way around it. Every time I get connected to someone it will go up as high as 92.5% and then go back to 92.3% again after a short time and disconnect. Typically I can get a torrent finished when this happens but it takes a lot longer than normal even with high seeds. If there were more seeders on this then I might have gotten past the problem already. The number of leeches appears to be growing, but the seed number is still a dead zero. We'll never get past the problem unless that number goes up or the torrent is reorganized and reseeded.

I haven't given up... and none of you should either... primary seeder needs to take notice and probably reseed to remove the chunk error. Regardless, even at 92.3% users will have access all of the tracks of the Bound Together album and some of the remixes. I can't emphasize enough how beautifully done Bound Together was, so get it even if you plan on giving up on the torrent as a whole.

I just wish the seeder would have given us his e-mail. I'm stuck at 92.36% too... that's what I should start doing, whenever I just happen to finnish a torrent, I should leave my e-mail address. In this case, if we get this finished and you guys need a seed, Please don't hesitate to send me an e-mail at Woosh15@netzero.net. Nothing burns me than an unfinished torrent in the 90 percentile. I'd be more than happy to help seed a torrent.

Something obscure like this that can't help but draw attention from the die hard fans who still support it, and I'm not writing the creator off yet for abandoning us. If I knew how this guy managed to make his copy, then I would try it out myself. I wonder if a ROM has anything to do with the process. I hit 92.3% the first day I started this torrent... which was little over a week ago... so watching it bounce up and down between 92 and 93% all this time has been an experience to say the least. But I'll let it sit here and cough on my bandwidth from now til doomsday if need be.

I couldn't agree more. I'm currently trying to do that with the Bomberman 64 - Second Attack's soundtrack, but it's not a very good start. I guess I should try my luck with This one too... I've done an okay job with Blast Corps, maybe it'll work with this and Bomberman. But like they say, patience is a virtue... I just hope the torrent isn't damaged after it's done. I've ran into too many cases where I've waited forever to finnish a torrent and it's damaged. Not cool.

I haven't run into a damaged one yet, but there certainly are too few game soundtracks available. I am going to start torrenting some soundtracks I have. Look for Brave Fencer Musashi, Super Mario RPG, the NES Godzilla soundtracks and more within the next week or so. I'll throw the Mother 2 Image Album up as well. Someone on eBay is actually asking $350 for an original import copy. I don't know what he's on but I want some. I paid $42 for mine after it went out of print, and it's the only official release of any Mother 2 soundtrack (there was never a full one like this torrent released on CD as far as my research shows).

If only I could get some possible idea of which files exactly are incomplete, then maybe (just maybe) I could search for them somewhhere else. How many of them were still waiting for completion? I happened to find the "bound together" album in case that was a part of the incompleted section. I should try to open the file myself and see. We should discuss this on a messenget sometime. What messenger(s) do you use? I've got them all, so i'll use whatever.

I use yahoo. Same user name. I bought a lot of import soundtracks about eight years ago and my credit hasn't recovered yet. But my loss can be everyone's gain here provided my computer survives. Claims the hard drive is dying, but I'm going to milk it before it goes. It's crashed quite a few times but even when it says it's dead I manage to get it running again. If you didn't grab NES Godzilla yet, it's here. As for what's incomplete, my client tells me which parts are done. I mentioned which ones in comment 5.
12.Posted by aczilla on Mar 31 2006 at 18:21
All but 3 tracks for disc one are complete in this 92.3%, a few tracks from disc 2, the full Bound Together and about 8 tracks from the remix folder. The rest are all incomplete. When I put up the Image Album, you will be able to fill in some gaps, but the files won't match. All my albums were ripped years ago and backed up as wma; I don't have a decent mp3 maker and really don't have the time to rip the CDs again even if I did. I'm busy trying to back up everything in case there's a fatal crash, so a couple days maybe.
13.Posted by Race on Apr 02 2006 at 09:41
I'm having the same hard drive problems. ive got tons of movies on it that im not done watching. every now and then it'll seem like dead, and voila. do you get those weird clicking noises too? It's fine, you dont have to re-rip the CD's. My concern with opening an incomplete file was this: Shareaza gives you an option to assume a download is 100 percent complete and forget about the incomplete portions. I've never done this before, and I dont know if I try this, will I have to re-download the whole thing again?... I'll try it anyway. Wish me luck.
14.Posted by aczilla on Apr 04 2006 at 09:38
yeah my computer's been doing the same. Bad sectors and a dying hard drive. No way around it except buying a new drive. I keep everything important on an external just in case, so I have less chance of losing anything. The bad sectors will continue to multiply themselves over time until the computer finally trips over them and breaks its neck basically. Mine's lived through it almost a year already and I only get the annoying crash problems every few months. It's behaving now so I can get those files up.
15.Posted by Race on Apr 05 2006 at 09:37
I'd better start doing the same with my hard drive. So many movies... I've been trying to do so for a long time, but there are a couple of problems:
1. 160 gigs is not easy to just copy/back up
2. I'm a heavy procrastinator
I have 3 drives now, four if you count my external. I had so much trouble finding which drive was having/causing the trouble. I'd say it's been about 2 years. I formatted and removed my old C: drive just to find out that it wasnt the one having issues. I lost alot of my 3D projects with that stunt. Good job, me :/
I had absolutely no idea the bad sectors SPREAD through to the other drives... THAT must have been what went wrong with my old C: drive
so thanks for that info.
Well anyway, if it's a few tracks from a couple of each discs, I may be able to fill in those gaps myself. I've had a couple of the incomplete Soundtracks for a long time. Either/Or, you can take your time and stuff. I might let you know which ones I don't find and/or have already.

There wouldn't be any chance that anyone could re-seed this? I would love to get my hands on a full soundtrack for Earthbound.
17.Posted by Soulraped on May 25 2006 at 03:17
Well I'm in the same boat as you guys now, thanks for seeding me up to the same point..
18.Posted by Soulraped on May 28 2006 at 10:18
Hey man, I'm in the same boat as you and many others, we definitely need a reseed of this.
19.Posted by aczilla on Aug 16 2006 at 01:38
Six months and still can't get past 92.3% without an error.. and no one responsible for the full 100% has had the courtesy to reseed it. Isn't it beautiful to be standing next to a beautiful flowered valley... but you can't run through it because of the electrical fence and rabid guard dogs blocking your path. I haven't given up... but rabid dogs don't like peanut butter or steak.
20.Posted by Race on Sep 08 2006 at 22:33
I would kill for the original uploader's e-mail. Aren't you sorta obligated to give that sort of info out upon uploading a torrent?... I'm going to send that suggestion to mininova... assuming they'll listen to it. they should be able to send an automated e-mail request to the original uploader for a seed request on a selected torrent or SOMETHING. this isn't fair.
21.Posted by shaber on Sep 25 2006 at 20:36
For the love of God can we please get someone to seed this. I've had it stuck at 92.4% for about a month now and it's incredibly frustrating. I can't find anywhere else to download a complete rip like this. You can easily get the Mother 2 OST but it lacks a lot of the fantastic tracks that this one has.
It is TORTURE. If no one is going to seed this then it should be removed as to prevent any one else getting this aggrevated over a soundtrack.

ATTENTION! So, I noticed that this torrent is stuck at a certain percentage because it has no seeders. Since it is such a great torrent, I searched the internet for hours to get a hold of all the same tracks.
I have created and uploaded a torrent almost identical to this one. You can find it at:

Can someone PLEASE seed this? Earthbound has like.. the greatest soundtrack ever and I've been DYING to get this. I'm stuck at 92% with 53MB left to download.. so I'm sure you can assume how frustrated I am. Seed, please.
25.Posted by arrisnyte on Jul 23 2007 at 20:17
Yes please, someone reseed this? I only need another 6 percent or so, and I will continue to reseed for Weeks, but I need this to finish first.
26.Posted by mhj212 on Sep 02 2007 at 22:52
Yeah, I would grreaaattly appreciate reseeding this - love the game's music and the game itself. Thank you veerry much in advanced =)

My god, I can't believe it's been since 2006 that this file first reached 92.3% and still no full seeders. Where the hell is the original seeder?!

Finally someone with passion enough to get this great game's soundtrack out there... all I managed to track down years ago was the Mother 2 Image album which only contained only single-looped incidental music like city themes. It was like listening to a playthrough of the game without having to play but only ran about a half hour total. Although it had some nifty remix songs that seem to be available nowhere else, I paid 42 bucks for the import more than a decade ago and it just wasn't enough. Now if only there were a solid seed on this... If someone can manage a complete seed for me, I can offer the Image album immediately and scan all the interesting inserts. This game is near and dear to me so I'm open to negotiation. Somebody, anybody get a good seed going on this so it doesn't fade into the ether... again.
