Maybe U didn't copy all the cracks on to the installed directory.....
Thats why it asks for the serial...
Just copy all the crack but dont run the "launchGTAIV" crack from the crack folder....
It will always show error messages.....

here is how it worked for me...how to play and save your progress
IMPORTANT: you'll need an internet connexion so don't close it !!!!!!
once you fully installed the game upgrade it with v1.0.2.0 patch ,then crack with http://www.mininova.org/tor/2232434 torrent (just copy the files 1911.dll and LauncheGTAIV.exe into the directory you installed the game...replace files)
after that, you'll need "Microsoft games for windows - live" but don't worry no need to register just download it then install it and launch "Rockstar game social club" skip the connexion step and click play.
now "microsoft games for windows" will ask you to register...it's ok just follow the steps till you find the"register offline" option...ok click on it you will be asked to enter a username... YOUR DONE!!!
worked for me on "windows vista ultimate 32bits"

Hi Noid1717.
You have to download the onother CRACK,how i did and copy to directory file.
Replace them and you can launch it. And after all these it is working for sure.But it will not working online.
It could be litle problem with auto saving,because need product key.
I am looking for it.
There is mor way to get work this game.

Honestly guys, its 39.99 at walmart. A very cheap store here in the U.S.! And the reason its choppy, is because its a VERY demanding game! CPU exhaustive from what ive heard. So if you dont have an i7 or Phenom II, plus a current GPU, I would consider upgrading. I currently have the MINIMUM card requirement, and Phenom II, and I wont even look at the game. Dont get me wrong, when software or games ain't worth a ****, I'd rather download it myself, but this one REALLY deserves the return$$$ Ive heard it blows away San andreas!!! Yes, now it work.

If anyone have a problem, i´ll write here instructions.

So after downloading:
1. Extract the files (4 files) from GTA IV DVD 1 to a desctop icon.
2. Open one of these 4 files, Autorun specifically. Now it´ll started Rockstar Club Socialy install, so wait for install.
3. Than GTA IV install will start.
4. After about half of install it´ll ask for "insert disc 2 that contains the file data3.cab". So make a desctop icon named data3.cab
5. Open GTA IV DVD 2. There is a file GTA IV. Open it and there is a file data3.cab. Extract this file to a desctop icon you made.
6. In InstallShield Wiard open this desctop icon. Now it´ll continue to the end.

First of all thx to the uploader. I havent't dwld yet, busy, but I noticed these figures :

Downloads: 169,883
The numbers speak for themselves... I really would like to plea for a system her at mininova which checks the total dwld/upload ratio, in cooperation ofcourse with µTorrent and others, and if the ration is smaller then 1 , dlwld speed will be adjusted accordingly...
My own ratio is a little over " 1 " , after dwlding more then 1TB ! For uploading I just use my laptop, screen off, so power consumption is around 10-15w.

oh and another thing too.to play the game and save it you need to install GAMES FOR WINDOWS LIVE(download it).then install it and disconnect your internet.now you need to create a profile offline and once youve done that your game will save as normal.you dont always need to disconnect from the internet,just the once i did so its upto you ppl.

Well, I have 2 things to say:

1) I see multiple torrents about GTA IV in here...
I think about downloading ALL of them (anyway,how long would this take with ALLLL these wonderful seeders around me??), and then posting about problems or anything else......like...which torrent is better & faster!...
(already, the second one i tried doesn't even download! )

2) I REALLY want a serious reply about a specific requirement! They recommend Core 2 Quad at 2.8GHz (or 2.6?, i don't recall), while I have Core 2 Duo at 3.06GHz...Obviously fitter, as long as this game doesn't use THAT kind of multiple processing!...
So the question is, does this game REALLY use all 4 processors, or is it just marketing? (A user of Quad could easily answer me!..)

And i honestly think the 'quad core' thing is just a stupid advertisement. No way in hell could a game ever need 4 cores, and if it does, it's about as optimized as a steam engine train.

It´s the RAZOR CRACK and pathed v 1.03

But all the time I finish drink, the screen starts to move and it dont stop =/

You will bypass a looooooooot of trouble (for example re-installing) if instead of v1.0.2 patch you download the v1.0.3 patch... ( http://www.mininova.org/com/2454137#comment2535288 )....
The v1.0.2 crashes on a specific mission NOT too late in the game...

In the End Autorun (setup), i create an account Microsoft Windows Live and Rockstar Game Social Club.

Hey guys, I worked out my problem and it worked perfectly! Here is what you do:

Things you need:
- Clean install of GTA IV
- http://www.btarena.org/games/gta-4-working-crack-proper-x5l0v3r (Download just the crack if you already have the ISOs.
---
1 Install GTA IV, with R*SC and GFWL.

2 Copy all the contents of the crack folder from the link above into the install directory of GTA IV.

3 Run the game, and when it asks you to create an account to activate the autosave feature, unplug your internet cable (Just in case) and choose OFFLINE ACCOUNT. You can choose any name since it doesn't matter. Accept and choose the second option. After that - you can now save with NO SERIAL OR UNLOCK CODE. If you get the shaky camera ****, just close GTA and run it again, it'll dissapear.

Also; If you have SP2 but you don't want to update to SP3, heres a workaround (Involving the registry)
---
1 Run Regedit by Clicking on Start -> Run , type in regedit and press enter

2 Make a backup of your registry (just in case)

3 Browse to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows"

4 Modify the value of "CSDVersion" from "0x00000200" (SP2) to the Windows XP SP3 value of "0x00000300"

5 Close registry editor

6 Reboot

7 Start GTA and freakin enjoy it already!

Ugh, I've tried everything possible to get this game to work and it just won't budge. It gives me an error when I try to start the game (not one of the GTA errors, but rather a Windows error stating that GTA IV needs to shut down). I'm assuming it has a lot to do with my system requirements (AMD Athlon XP 3000+, 1.5 GB RAM, nVidia 7600 GS, Windows XP SP3). I thought I'd give it a shot since Ghostbusters seemed to work fine (a little laggy, but it still worked).

I'll stick to San Andreas until I get a new rig.

I've read the following instructions on 77-78 post and they seem to be ok.

There they are:

If anyone have a problem, i´ll write here instructions.

So after downloading:
1. Extract the files (4 files) from GTA IV DVD 1 to a desctop icon.
2. Open one of these 4 files, Autorun specifically. Now it´ll started Rockstar Club Socialy install, so wait for install.
3. Than GTA IV install will start.
4. After about half of install it´ll ask for "insert disc 2 that contains the file data3.cab". So make a desctop icon named data3.cab
5. Open GTA IV DVD 2. There is a file GTA IV. Open it and there is a file data3.cab. Extract this file to a desctop icon you made.
6. In InstallShield Wiard open this desctop icon. Now it´ll continue to the end.

BUT, on the step 3 it says my system is uncompatible with %P. Anyone knows what the hell is that? I use windows vista 32bits. Do I have to update it or something like that?

#12. Copy the "LaunchGTAIV.exe" from the crack you downloaded from mega games and put it in the folder where the "GTAIV.exe" is.
#13. Load LaunchGTAIV.exe always (never gtaiv.exe!) and enjoy the game!

Oh, I figured the problem out by myself, everything`s fine now.

THIS GAME WORKS!!! YES, IT DOES!!

Ok, I think I`ll write here how I managed to install this one. He we go:

1) Mount the first CD into Daemon Tools (I use this software. Yours can be different, that`s ok)

2) Start installing the game

3) At the half of the installation the wizard will ask you to mount the second CD. Do it.
If you experience the problem with data3.cab, here`s solution: when the game will ask you to mount the second CD (actually, the window will pop up), choose THE WHOLE FOLDER, not only the data3.cab file.

4) When the game is nearly installed, the wizard will ask you to mount the first CD once again. Do it.

Please help I've spent 6 hours trying to get this stupid torrent down, My husband doesn't know **** on the matter to make things work. I have followed Ykulv instructs to the needle and I am getting a fatal error message when i run the rockstar social club, I dont see where i create an offline profile. I have downloaded a razor crack i have the rzr-gta4-crack.rar with the launchgtaiv.exe and the gtaiv.exe along with the 1911.dll all put in the correct folder of the game dir. The game works perfectly!! I had some troubles in my first game installing. I installed it at xp sp3, but i don't know why, the game didn't lauch, even making all the steps other people said above. Well, after I installed vista sp1 in my computer and the game too and it runs just fine =). Just do this:

1) Install the game
2) Download the patch v.1.0.4.0 and crack here: http://www.mininova.org/tor/2757675
3) Run the patch 1.0.4.0 to update rockstar social club
4) Copy the files "LaunchGTAIV.exe" and "1911.dll" to the directory where the game is installed
5) Run the "LaunchGTAIV.exe" file
6) When asked to log in, skip it and press play
7) During the game when you are going to save your progress, you won't be able to do that, because a profile is need.
8) So creat and OFFLINE profile. Just put your name that, press OK and you will be able to save from now on =)

Guys, i just finished the download and successfully installed the game..
one thing, the crack is not working and i have to download the one from razor.

the simplest instructions are:

-create and new folder from any destination
-open the the first iso and extract the whole thing in the created folder
-do the same with the second iso
-run installation
-there will be no data cab error whatsoever
-lastly, place the crack from razor on your gta iv folder located in your program files.

that's it

BTW, skip the log in on rockstar social club.

your anti virus software is probably doing it. mine was aswell ( i was using AVG) I think i fixed it by clicking "allow exceptions" or something along those lines when it happened and then it worked. Didnt do much good though as the game dosent work with my graphics card

mascan42..most cracked files are detected as virus only..***s possibly because the way they operate...But till now none of the cracks has ever resulted in any system infection..so its perfectly safe..

By the way guys. I am getting very angry here..only 4 seeders and 42 leechers...I know its a big file ad this-that..But that doesnt mean that the leechers will act as s u c k e r s...Comeon guys show some respect for urself..And for Christ's sake dont run away after ur download is finished..as if smeone is going to pull ur pants down...Seed for sometime...

Disable AVG then..You must be talking about the Crack right??Disable and continue..There's nothing wrong in Cracks..But there's huge problem in these leechers...The moment they are finishing they are just turning off the internet or I dont know what..I sat here and couldnt believe right in front of my eyes the number of seeders reduced from 9 to 4. This game is 100% working, i've installed in windows 7 and it work, but to slow in my rig PDC @1.6ghz, ati redeon x1650 pro 512MB,2GB ram. then i tried in xp sp3 and some driver update its working in low setting but thats is ok its playable. Here is the important, follow instruction in 76-77

followed instructions, unable to run.
Problem is when I try to play game, one of two things happen - blank Command Prompt box appears (titled 'LaunchGTAIV') or Goes full screen (blank) with the command box running in background. It comes up with blank cmd box if I open through Games menu (start > games), or goes full screen when I select 'play' on the social club menu (was offline when I tried). followed instructions, still unable to run... Running Vista on a lenovo laptop y550 well within recommended specs.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance. please help me out guys

For those who have problem with the crack, just shutdown the AVG before install, otherwise the AVG will delete the GTA.exe

HERE IS ANOTHER PROBLEM IM HAVING WITH THE ASI LOADER THE FILE(dsound.dll)for the trainer. first if i put the file into the gta directory then the app crashes or nothing happens when i open gta social club and if i delete the file then it works fine. but i want to have the trainer and i have a lenovo laptop thus i do not have any numpad on my laptop any good trainer without a numpad. guys please help me.

like a said before, shutdown any antivirus running in your machine in order to prevent deleted files from the game, is just install the game, and then, if you prefer, you can scan after this process

Just a question, anyone made the download live profile before the serial stuff?
