When I run the game, a lot of the environment is messed up and different colors. Like some of the ground is black or red or blue and the water looks like blocks. I've tried messing around with the video settings and really doesn't fix the color problems. Any ideas how to fix this?

Far Cry uses pixel shaders a lot, and your card should at least support shaders 2.0, although the latest versions can also use shaders 3.0. Try updating your drivers or at least giving more info about what kind of card you have. Chances are your video card doesn't cut it.

But you'd better have a good video card. My 7600GT which is not THAT old can only display it correctly with low details (otherwise everything is blue 
)

copy the far cry.exe incl. in this torrent and paste it in the
C:\Program Files\"Ubisoft\Crytek\Far Cry\Bin32"
or which ever dir u installet it in!!!!!

Hello plzzzz help. i downloaded the files. zip everything up in a map.
run the setup file and installed it in a diffrent map. but all you get is insert the cd bla bla. can some one please right EXAKTLY how you do it. frome beginning to end in that order

I haven't downloaded yet but this is usually how it goes.
1 unzip using winrar
2 locate files unzipped "if it can be unzipped again do it" normally these kind you can unzip any one file to unzip them all
3 use daemon tools to mount image (if it doesn't pop up just go my computer and open it) install/ find key generator if needed sometimes can be found by exploring image/
4 update
5 paste crack (either provided or found at gameburnworld.com just make sure you get the same version crack as the update

well great upload but the running .exe version of this torrent is very slow and without all doubts I have the Ultimate system

damn same video card issue...tried other driver etc..i have plenty of laptop muscle for this game...weird...can run fallout 3 fine but not this?lol

Far Cry has a few issues with new hardware, gotta remember this game out when the 9800xt was in its hayday. First off, I would not recommend using patch 1.4 as with the newest hardware and maybe vista 64, you cannot use the maximum lighting, cause the game keeps crashing. As for everything being blued over or what not. Sounds like you're running the game with antialiasing. Patch 1.3 adds hdr and if your gpu supports it, it turns it on automatically and hdr and antialiasing just don't splice in that game.
I own the steam version & and the d2d version, don't ask, but it already comes patched to 1.4 and and i can't have maximum graphics so i'm forced to dl it.

I did not have any problems installing it on my pc (windows vista) and no viruses were detected. When I tried to play the interiors were okay and I could see the huts, trees and people, but the ground was blue and textureless--seems to be a common problem. I downloaded patch 1.4 from ubisoft (google it) and installed it, and now it works fine. Thanks to the uploader!

I had the same prob with the color of the ground and some of the enviroment, but the latest patch fixed it. Its always best to check system requirements 1st before Dl'ing a game. Saves aggrovation
