If you can't get sound, it's almost always because the audio is in AC3 instead of MP3. Just do a search for an AC3 filter.

I just downloaded this movie today and here's my report:
DivX Player Version 6.8.2.1 (DivX Inc. 2001-2007) - No sound, perfect video
Nero Showtime Version 3.0.0.1 (Nero AG, 2006) - Perfect sound and video
Media Player Classic Version 6.4.9.0 (Gabset 2002-2006) - Perfect sound and video
VLC Version 0.8.6.0 (VideoLAN 1996-2006) - Perfect video, dialogue is quiet, singing is loud... audio track in general seems a little off.
So umm yeah... I recommend Media Player Classic if you're having audio troubles.

you might as well d-load a better version unless u have a converter bcuz vlc player plays codecs which are usually not used with common programs to burn onto dvds- like nero for e.g...be aware..trust my name XxSewerDawgxX..look it up

But why do we have to keep downloading all sorts of different media players? Why won't it just play the ****** thing in Windows Media Player? All of the other films I have downloaded play just fine in WMP and I am using Windows 7 Build 7100 but not this swine! I even tried converting it to Xvid and it played pefectly but the picture was all squashed up and not widescreen, despite the fact that I converted it using16.9 aspect ratio (which I think is widescreen...isn't it)? There must be a better copy out there somewhere?

Micky, I don't wanna sound rude but if you're really gonna be like this, why don't you just go buy the damn DVD from the store? The uploader did his best to upload a good copy of the movie and if you're so stubborn that you won't download another media player after so many others have suggested it, then don't bother asking for a better copy. VLC only takes up like 12 MB of your hard drive while the AVI file itself takes up about 1 GB. Is it really gonna make that big a difference having another media player on your computer? You already spent time converting it to try to make it work on Windows Media so just get VLC and install it. You'll be done in at least half the time it took for you to convert the file.
