You need your iPhone to be jailbroken.

Once downloaded, just double click on the ipa files and the itunes program will put it in the library

hey man, how does this work if they are not IPA files?
I got my i Phone 2 gen jail broken and I have cracked apps already buy I`ve never seen this type of extension.

pxl is older style loader files

you need ibrickr but i cannot say if it works well with <2.**

i used .pxl with my 1.** firmwares

You don't need to convert them to IPA to get them on your iphone, use something like Lazy Panda: www.ipcsuite.com I haven't tried them all but the ones I have seem to work OK and I'm running Apples latest firmware 2.2.1.

I recently downloaded this torrent and imported it into my itunes to install on my iphone.
Importing was fine but when I sync'd it with my iphone it installed them but also RESTORED my phone.
Can anyone help me out on what I need to do to not oly keep the files I already had on my phone but to keep these app's on there too.
Also needed is something to make/use ringtones on my phone.
PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME....
