The crack is located in the Install Disc 1 directory. Just right-click and explore, the copy the folder _Crack_ to your desktop. The Hordes of the Underdark keygen works for both expansions. After you have everything installed, then copy the cracked .exe to the main directory and overwrite the original to play without using the CD.

I know this comment is a month or two old, and I JUST registered. I really need to thank EVERYONE who seeds, this and ANYTHING else that is seeded. I am sad to admit that I can't seed anything, my ISP charges me as per my bandwidth usage (up and down to a total) so I cannot afford (being a college student) to allow people to upload from me while I seed. My Internet bill as it is this month was almost $100. I have downloaded [this], movies, programs, books, alot from mininova. I just REALLY want to send out my appreciation for ANYONE who seeds, and once again apologize for my inability as I cannot afford to do so (maybe when my roommate moves in and we buy a better connection I can spend the last few days seeding what Ive downloaded!!!). Oh yes 1 last thing (sorry). I keep all my downloaded torrent files, and download so that when I am at a place where I am not charged, I release like NOTHING. My ISP has a FANTASTIC connection, which is why they charge on up and down, and so I always atleast upload from home with whatever whoever can get from me while I download (i.e.: no upload limit [which reaches sometimes 100+k/s]). I posted this cuz I havent played this game in YEARS and am SOOOOOOOO Happy to find it again. I lost my CDs ';(

i've install. tried replacing the nwmain with the one in the crack folder.
i received an error msg of some kind.
"the procedure entry point _AIL_set_stream_volume_levels@12 could not be located in the dynamic link library mss32.dll"

I have downloaded the game and am trying to follow all the steps that you listed starting at step 14. I am new to all this and am lost. I downloaded the alcohol 120% program and started intsalling disc 1. I only have 5 folders. Instal 1 and 2, play, then the 2 expansions. There is no crack folder. So I am stuck at the enter the cd key stage of installing. Some in depth help for a newbie would be apreciated.

Can't seem to update NWN using the patch - says "you cannot use this patch with your current install of NWN", also when I try and open NWN it starts to run then closes giving me an error message.
I copied the crack to my install directory but still won't work.

I got it working!
If you had that problem "point _AIL_set_stream_volume_levels@12" just update the game at the menu on button "update" and will work!
Eu consegui fazer funcionar!
Se voce tiver problema com a mensagem "point _AIL_set_stream_volume_levels@12" basta atualizar o jogo no menu inicial no botão "update" e o jogo vai funcionar...

After installing this, I noticed some odd behavior. specifically, after any heavy system load, my computer becomes reallly slow until i reboot. happened only after installing this.
i've scanned with spybot, adaware, run hijack this and haven't come up with anything. given that other people have installed this and haven't had any problems, i'm guessing it's not a malware issue, but nonetheless.
ps: anyone else having this problem? quite annoying.

i downloaded found my own keygens and installed the game and both expansions. it asks for hordes of the underdark play disc.
but i only have five cds/disks.

Hi, first of all thanks for the great upload. I loved the Neverwinter Nights games (Not the second one so much) and D&D in general. So I have a problem. When I mount Install 1 to Daemon Tools/Alchol 120%(Note I did not have these installed at the same time) it says "Insert Play Disk." Well I tried that and nothing. I tried mounting both at the same time. Nothing. Then I manually explored the Install disk 1 in order to run the setup but got this error:
"ERROR!
Uninstall encountered an error and cannot proceed. Please contact technical support."
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have a question...
I have done all of the steps, but I extracted the .iso files instead and manually hit the setup.exe's...
When it asked for a CD I would just select the file folder for it, but when I do the rest, I can't run the 1.64 Hordes patch, and when I run the game...all the textures are out...You can't read anything because it's all blue/purple/red lines and it's all distorted
If any help is available, it is much appreciated!

Than i monut SoU expansion into my deamon tools and nothing happens.

installed just fine here though i have just one question, how do we play this on LAN? i can't seem to bypass the registration part?... it says i got an invalid key and it cannot access to any server?

yungcarter, the reason multiplayer doesnt work is because they keys r ILLEGAL, and have been used by every single person that downloaded it
the only way u can play it online multiplayer is if u pay for the game (with a serial key) or find a private server...

First of all, excelent game, much thanks for sharing!
But... I just installed NWN here, no problems (only NWN, without the expansions, using DaemonTools).
But when i try to play, i get the message "Insert Play Disk". Tried to use DaemonTools and didn't worked. Tried to burn a CD with the Disk 3 Image and still got the same problem.
Can anyone help?

OK, after hours of searching... etc..
1. for those who don't know where to start from:
You should install Daemon Tools Lite in your computer
This is a freeware program which reads virtual CDs
99% of the games you download from the internet
are in the form of virtual CDs, and the most usual kind
is the ISO format as in this case, so you should
always have a program like Daemon in your PC installed.
When you install it, mount the first ISO of the game
in the virtual CD. It's like putting a real CD in you CD Drive.
(experiment with Daemon a little bit to get into it)
In the first CD of the game there is a folder named _Crack_
Copy this folder to your desktop. It has a bunch of files you will need

And to the people who asked about this game working Multiplayer... NO, it does not due to the fact that it uses a crack file to access the exe without a cd in. If you want to play it multiplayer, buy the game. I am sure by now it's pretty damn cheap... like the rest of us. I'll help seed the game, getting 667 kbps download.

I have a dual core processor of 3800 mhz and 2 GB of RAM and the game isn't running well. It stutters like mad no mater what resolution and properties I choose.

@Ceks, check what kind of video card you have (make sure it's compatible, but with a DC CPU and 2gb of RAM I'm guessing it is..)
Then make sure all your drivers installed for the gfx card are up-to-date.

Okay, so I downloaded this torrent, then I downloaded that whatever Daemon Tools Lite that everyone's saying we should download, I try to open the first install cd, and I get this "Daemon Tools Lite: Error: cannot read command line"

Anyone who is having trouble with MSS32.dll - it's a problem with the game, not this torrent. It's a problem with the Miles sound files with some sound cards. A fix was released for the problem but this torrent obviously doesn't include the fix. Not sure if the crack will work with the fix as I haven't tried. If it doesn't work, you can delete the Miles directory (within the main NWN directory) to play the game, but there will be no sound.

Game companies shouldn't even bother using CD keys, looks like 90% of the people on the internet can't even use Daemon Tools or another software like this one.
But! I don't care, and I will try to make it clear for everyone. Even if most of that has been said already.
1. Download DAEMON TOOLS LITE (Do you hear me talking about Nero/Alcool120%?) This WILL work with Daemon tools, why bother with anything else?
2. Mount the CD1 (I will NOT explain how to do this).
3. Explore the CD1. Copy the folder _Crack_ on your desktop.
4. Double click on the " Autorun.exe " file.

6. When it asks for CD2, mount CD2, then the play CD, then CD1 again.
7. Mount the " Neverwinter Nights. XP1. Shadows Of Undrentide.iso " after, install it using the same key generator that you used for the first install (same key generator not same key). Same steps again, run the " Autorun.exe "
8. Repeat 7. but with " Neverwinter Nights. XP2. Hordes Of The Underdark.iso " instead.

You don't need any Crack, just do this. Install the two Expansions, and after it go to the NWN Website and download the 1.69 Patch (over 300MB), run it! (You will like it, New Features on the game, and a new class [which is useless unless you're planning to use Horses, which there's just on Custom Modules and on a Gold NWN Module], and after installing it, no Crack is necessary ^^

Oh snap, I think I got it to work. If you're having trouble with the CD, just start up NWN and update it. If it shows you an error, follow the link to the bioware website and download the patch for it. Hopefully it works for you.

I downloaded this and it runs fine its just I can't update it, I tryed clicking the update button it says to just download the critical info patch.... I followed the link and downloaded the patch then when I run it, it starts then says can not patch this copy.... Any ideas? please

nvm fixed the problem lol, just another question...... I want to play this on a lan network, but I have to create a multiplayer account right? I tryed and the cd key I used was in use..... so any ideas what I can do to play this on a lan network

Anyone can tell me; I have a legit copy of Neverwinter Nights Gold (original campaign + Shadows of Undrentide). If I download and install Hordes of the Underdark CD can I use the serial key from the original game to register HotD or do I have to use the serial crack included with this download?

here is how to LAN with neverwinter
First find your host file...Here are the locations
win9x/ME:
C:\WINDOWS\hosts or hosts.sam. If its hosts.sam edit it and save it as "hosts".
Win2K/XP:
C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS
\ETC\hosts
add: 127.0.0.1 nwmaster.bioware.com into the host file save it
Load neverwinter nights go into multi just enter any name any password. It will sit for 30 seconds and give you an error saying some multiplayer features will be disabled..Push Ok
You can Now Play Lan Games or Join an Internet Game
Enjoy your multi NWN

Having a **** load of trouble plz help. I installed the game but like some of the people above i had the "insert play disc" problem. So i tried updating the game, got the error message and followed the link to DL the critical patch from Bioware. Downloaded that but i think it may have messed up or not fully worked even though the update said i was fully up to date. I mounted the play disc and tried to play but it said "I am not in the install directory, please reinstall the game and try again" or something to that effect. So i uninstall the game but it won't let me reinstall it again. I mount disc 1 and it says "please install play disc". If i do that nothing happens.

Hi. I need some help. I installed the game, the expansion packs and the patches and its running fine. By the way the game started running only after I installed the expansion packs. It would'nt run before that. Im not sure if this is the place to bring up this problem but i'll do it anyway. The only problem is that I cant see any details on the characters. They just show up as silver figures. Anybody have any idea how to fix it? Thanks

after looking around it seems that nwn is an opengl game. if you have an older card (like my laptop's radeon xpress 200m) which doesn't run opengl you'll have problems with this game.

downloaded all expansions and the play disc brings up the thing that says play, update, etc. but, when i click play it brings up the eye then it closes

First of all, I'm not new to mounting images, so please save me from the accusation of being a *****. The problem is that I can't get Disc 2 to work, I don't know if it is unidentifiable by the system or what, but it seems to be like that. Yes it shows up (I can see the files within it) when I mount it, but when it's supposed to continue the installation; well, it doesn't, it just keeps on asking to mount Disk 2 - as if saying that the Disk 2 is not there. I've even tried burning the image, hoping it works; but still it doesn't.
On a side note: I use Daemon Tools, and even used other mounting tools like MagicIso. And one more thing, are you guys familiar with the icon when a program is unknown? a windows logo with a white background - that's how it is. OS is Vista. Hope all those info can help you help me.

Well... I use daemon tools LIGHT... it is very effective... try using that
Where is crack, I can't find it?
It is in the first... you mount the images then explore the first disk (Right click~explore)

ok i got everything working but i cant play the game because in the title screen it askes for my CD-key (again >.> ugh) and the exact same ones i used to install they will not accept... howtf do i get past this?
