Hey, what do you do with old seeds? I've got a bunch of older stuff in my uTorrent that says they are queued or seeding, but not all show activity. I think I limit my seeds to three at a time. How can I tell which are actually active? I would think I should get rid of old stuff to give more time to new ones like this. Thanks.

"Seeds" & "Peers" columns tallied in ()s & before are those online (some may not be available). If posting is up, check general info's share ratio.
Seeds max. depends on throughput. Do router/modem buffers need reset?
Select uTorrent's "Options", "Preferences" & "Queueing" for Maximums & Seeding settings [varied by % (150% = 1.5 ratio) or time & action when goal achieved].
At "Options", "Speed Guide" (halt other online activities for actual speed), Flash 8 or "Sun Java" testing at many sites (download only example: "Sun Java...", global "385 speedtest...", "USA", "HI, Kihei", "High Speed..." uses JPEGs of space).

After finished seeding a file, right click its line & use 1 of 4 Remove options (Caution: last 2 delete its data from "Downloads";).

Dusty, so I have one recent file with 0(343) for Seeds and 0(56) for Peers. That's the 2-24 Stern show. Some older ones have very low numbers or 0 in parens. I see the currently active seeds have a number before the parens for Peers (i.e. 24(84) or 1(1)). What would you consider a finished seed?

I'm downloading from the Howard binaries group on usenet. I can upload it for you but I'm not sure how. I'm reading up on trackers and such but I haven't a clue...
