To the Uploader, and those concerned about the "Illegal AVG" pop-up reports from AVG, in either/both AVG Anti-Virus and AVG Internet Security:
This only occurs if you have your preferences set to Schedule PROGRAM Updates. Dis-able that particular schedule preference, and you can STILL have definition updates functioning properly... and no AVG nags about using an illegal version.

Reply to johnclio - very easy. Go to tools - advance settings - schedules - program update schedule. Click on Enable task to de-select the option. No more updates.

Have been using this for a while now, but all of a sudden the updates fail with a "connection to update server failed" I have no firewalls on either, have even tried using AVG's Windows: 8.0.237 update link on their website and that doesn't even work, any suggestions?

HERES HOW TO TURN OFF THE AVF SECURITY WARNING:
to prevent pop-up from avg, do as follows:
click from file menu > tools >advanced settings > update > URL
either uncheck update primary server or move it down below update backup server.

Worked OK.
Then one startup i was directed to the AVG website (i think) that said i may/may not be aware i was using a pirated copy, and have a week or so to buy/renew.
Tried to Reactivate using from code from post 39, seemed to update OK, but now email scanner is 'Not Active', and can't find how to make it 'Active'.
Help? Or a side effect of reactivating with that code?
License still set to expire 26/02/2018 (which is good/expected).

Blaze, it was working great till today.. just got some update and IE openned up on its own and directed me to avg...lol.
Well, in short, it says that this is not an original copy of AVG...ahhahah.

Your copy of AVG is using an illegal license key and in a short time will no longer receive daily updates. Purchase a licensed copy of AVG today to remain protected.

lol, I had it downloaded a long time before and when the illegal pop-up came, I pressed X. But 2 minutes later I got a "You have to reboot for an update install"-message, so I got scared because I thought they would harm my PC and therefore so I uninstalled it.

it is a .rar file therefore you must extract the files using a program such as winrar. you can either download the trial version or search torrent sites for the full version.

Hi. i have recently downloaded the microsoft 2007 enterprise edition from you. i'm stuck as what to do with it from the beginning. i can't remember how to mount it. i have magiciso 5.5 builder off you. i just need some help mounting it and will be able to do the rest myself after that! thanks k x
