1-Burn the ISO properly in "ISO mode" - use ImgBurn or similar software
2-Check CD for defects: Boot the CD, choose language, and select "Check CD for defects"
3-If you get no errors, it probably is a problem with your hardware (and if you get some errors, it means the CD is not properly recorded - it might also mean hardware problems)
Note: you can't just burn the files in the iso, you must burn it using "ISO mode" or something similar

hey im not able install ubuntu ... i burned it on dvd but wen i tried 2 install .. it stopped at 47% and reported an error .. " dvd is corrupt"
i had burnt the dvd @ 4X .............. plz help i cannot install it thru wubi also ....im downloading this extras remix now ... but plz help me wid that
