I'm having trouble with all EZTV torrents. I use Vuze. As far as I know, nothing else has changed. Monday night's shows downloaded fine (and fast) and Thursday's and Friday's won't at all. Either the torrent file is zero kb, or if I get it to download, it never connects (continually states "Checking...".
The Monday night shows I download won't download/connect now either (let me clarify that most of the time I can't get the .torrent file to download and have to keep trying... eventually it does but then is of no use). I can download the .torrent files from any site that has EZTV files, doesn't matter, none work. I'm certain it's not my ISP.
Any thoughts?

^I don't think it has anything to do with the client I use, because all the other torrent files I have work fine. just EZTV .torrent files. It seems like they won't completely download, even when using the magnet link.

@ciscoman: 100% agree. Australia has the worst commercial TV networks in the world. That is why Australia is THE biggest downloader of TV episode content in the world. Many of these series we would have to wait years before seeing it on commercial TV in this country.

Yes I agree fellas. Ive noticed the high ratio of aussies downloading the BSG episodes in particular. Our networks DO **** over here. Thank God for the internet and torrent networks.

Ronald Moore ends ALL of his shows with a religious good vs evil battle where the evil is transported to a new (female) person.... and the cycle all begins again.

I enjoy Galactica, but expect a lame-ass "Ron Moore doesn't understand religion" surprise ****py ending.

Pull up his name on IMDB and check how the shows all ended.... "oh my, she's the devil in person now" or "oh snap, now he has to battle the woman he loves because she is evil".

The last time I downloaded a file that had protection for Win media format, I downloaded the license which in turn activated a worm virus. I lost everything. I wouldn't open this file. Download another one instead when it gets posted.

I've got the same problem as #11. I also use Vuze have been downloading OK (and still downloading stuff at the moment), but now for some reason I can't download any eztv. Don't understand why!

those of you with problems with Vuze, I would recommend a change of torrent client. Vuze has become too commericial and bloaty.. You just need something basic, Bit Torrent is simple and good, but there are many other options aswell... Just please dont Vuze anymore, too many problems, so little in return.

I connected to my VPN, started the torrent, waited a few minutes, disconnected the VPN with the torrent running, then it connected and downloaded just fine and fast.

I'd try another client (Cause Vuze is a resource hog) but there really isn't a good on for Mac. not with many features at least.

@veets_uk: I re-enabled my dist. database... and that seemed to work. Can't remember what sight said to disable it, but apparently it was the only thing that lets me download eztv torrents.
