What CD-emulation software is required?
I tried it with UltraISO, but it doesn't seem to work. I am running the Windows 7 beta at the moment, and Daemon tools isn't compatible with Windows 7 yet.

Sorry happy joe, I can't help ya there. I'm running Windows XP Professional 64 and used Daemon-tools Lite (v4.30.4.0027).
For those who may also be using Daemon-tools, and/or those of you that get the "Original disc could not be found or authenticated" or "Insert the original disk" type error messages, you'll need to "Disable" your real CD/DVD drive to get this game to run from the virtual drive. Once that's accomplished, you can install the game off the virtual drive (using the serial keys.txt in this torrent), run the game from the virtual drive, and fully patch the game to the most recent version. No cracks or workarounds required!

OH! If ya don't know how to "Disable" your CD/DVD drive-
Right click "My computer"
Left click on "Properties"
Left click on the "Hardware" tab
Left click on the "Device Manager" button
Click on the + box to the left of "DVD/CD-ROM Drives"
Right click on the designated "real" cd/dvd drive
Left click "Disable"
Left click "Yes"
Close Device Manager.
Close My Computer properties

**PLEASE NOTE:** After updating the game, you may have to enable SecuRom in the Daemon-tools Lite Preferences (Right click daemon-tools in the system tray, select Preferences, click on the Advanced tab). This resolved the "Original Disc could not be found or authenticated" error message that I had received.

What is the correct way to patch the game? Should patches be applied to the original game before installing the expansions? Also, which patches do you need to bring the game up to date (which version is it)?

Crashed after I left the Sunken Flagon at the start of Act II. Read that you need to update to the latest patch version to fix this, but the autopatcher doesn't work with this set due to missing files.
Have to use a console command to skip areas that crash... very frustrating.
Anyone know a way to update to the latest version? I can find a crack from there, but I can't find the patch to fix all these stupid crashes.

Crashes unavoidably after you encounter the Bard named Gnomehands in Act II. No way to advance, fail.

Works great
Anybody who's trying Neverwinter Nights 2 on Windows 7, you may run into a problem. If you run the game it will give you a message with no 3D accelerator. This is because Windows 7 runs DX11, and NWN2 goes DX9. You have to copy Vista DX10 over your DX11 files and the game will run. However, the files cannot be edited unless you force ownership.
Otherwise, it works great! Had problems running with a ATi 4890, so I run this game with a 9800GT.

So i had a few probs installing/patching on vista using Deamon tools light.
On the 3rd try, this is how it installed/updated correctlly. Mount NWN2, install and update. Unmount immage, then repeate "always updating after installation. Runs great now, though i havent played through any of the adventures yet. Just char creation and a few min into each epac to make sure they all run. When you play the game..make sure ya have SoZ mounted. Hope this helps the Vista people. Worked for me. And thanks to the uploader, ive missed this game.

@turgidtoupee: .Mdf/Mds is a strange image ext? You don't use virtual drives much do you.
The game is like 13 ***** on amazon. You could buy it then expand it using this torrent if you don't feel like waiting. By the time you finish the game the torrent will be done.

Followed Directions and used suggested Platform to run the game on and everything works perfectly. DL'd the game and both expansions in order...took my a day or so to DL...but I THANK YOU for this torrent !
THe only thing noticed by friends, when I am logged into Xfire it says I am play the AMD 64 verison of the game when my computer would **** a house if it tried to run a 64 bit verison of this game !
