Don't mean to complain as I've enjoyed many of the previous EZTV files and sometimes really high downloads.. But, @ this rate it will be 10hrs before I'm sitting @100%. Correction make that 12hrs... Oh, it's down again, make that 15hrs..

Austar is currently doing ep 10-19 of BSG S4 marathon then at 9.10pm tonight they are showing the finale. They have shown every ep at that time since BSG came back this year.

It is not being "cut off", it is being finished. Battlestar is QUALITY not QUANTITY and the producers decided to quit while they're ahead by giving us a proper ending, unlike many other shows that milk an idea for all its worth until the content is so lame that they lose viewers and the network pulls the plug.
There are two prequels coming this year.
The first is the Caprica pilot on DVD April 21st. This takes place 50+ years before the miniseries, and is about the people who create the cylons. The rest of Caprica season 1 will air in 2010.
The second is "The Plan", a tv movie which shows the events of the miniseries from the cylons point of view. The plan will probably air late 2009.
The head producer, Ronald D. Moore is also working on the pilot for a new space opera called Virtuality.
The Galactica story is finished in s04e20.

cirip2006 next year the same team that bring us Galactica, will present Caprica, a series based in the world in Galactica. It will take place over 50 year before the facts that are told in Galactica. It will be focus in two families, one the Adamas (the grand father of Bill) and the Graystones. Both families will be confronted, because one of the Graystones will start to investigate in the A.I. taht will led to the cylons, the Adama will be a lawyer that will try to stop that investigation. The pilot will be released on DVD on April 21.

Although I will miss Galactica, I agree with xlynx and Frank359, normally shows are too long, they last while they make *****. But ending at the right time, will make galactica last forever in our minds.

cirip2006 - Babylon 5 has 5years worth of episodes amounting to about 108 eps + some movies. I searched here http://www.mininova.org/search/?search=babylon+5&cat=0 and there are plenty d/l possible. If you can you have the whole lot near bottom of page 46gig in 1 package. Highly recommend B5, a work of intelligence by JPS the writer. The best SciFi series to date in my opinion.

Understand that, essentially, the Scene are the people who do the majority of encoding you'll find on torrents, newsgroups etc...
If we don't stick to the scene rules, there won't be a scene, and it will just be random **** where you have no idea what the quality is like or anything. At least with the scene stuff, you know your getting what your downloading.

If a torrent site wouldn't take into account Scene nuke notifications, you might end up with whatever group releasing whatever quality they feel like. Just to be the first to make a release and achieve their 15 mn of fame.
There are other sites that offer every release available for you to chose based on comments about the quality, the file size, the encoding of the audio track, etc.
Now, patience, relax, everything will be just fine, drew. As it always does in the end.

The nuke has nothing the do with it's quality in this case.
The oversized file just means it won't fit on a single cd.
Seeing as I put full seasons on 1 or 2 dvds, a few megs aren't
going to make a whole lot of difference.
This was an awesome show with an awesome finale.
Now...how fast can April 21st (Caprica DVD release date)and
June (Battlestar Galactica: The Plan) get here?

I downloaded Galactica in under 15 minutes.
I always max out my download speed when downloading from there.
The trick with that site is that you need to build up credits
in order to download...otherwise you can't download anything.
So...in order to download 700 megs, you have to upload 700 megs.

9/10.Why it looses 1 point is,to abandon the technology after all they had been through is a betrayal of the 12 colonies and their journey of 100,000,000 light years,just for some clean slate thing.The universe is finite and to start all over again is absolutely insane,a little bit disappointed but at the same time very sad to say goodbye to the greatest t.v show of all time.

Let's take as an example us (the human race). We are always evolving (transforming all the things around us, changing the world, but one thing that the most of us don't do is transforming our human nature (haven't change much since the begining of times) - we still use our knowledge to kill others, use the force to slave the weak ones, don't care for the planet we all live in (kill animals, resources without planing - thinking first in the profits) and etc,,,,, We can use our brains to do something greater and leave all the bad things behind us and live in harmony with each other...
Well, enough philosophy.
What is great about this series is that it makes us to think so many things (important things like relationships, love, technology, sci-fi, values, etc...).
Thanks EZTV for bringing us so many good shows...

To comment 145 of Volvi_01. Y you want to seed, copy the file in the download directory, and clic in the download torrent button, it will recognise the file and you will be seeding.
To those people who commented the end, why don't you advise at the beginning of your post, haven't you think that maybe you could spoil the episode for someone?
About the ending, some people will like it, others don't. It's impossible making and ending to a series that everybody will love.

Great ending for a great series, probably the best post-Babylon 5 series. As Volvi_01 said, B5 was much better, B5 is the best, but BSG is (probably) the best since B5 ended in 1998. Quality over quantity is the right approach to making good series and it's good that BSG was one of those short but high quality ones.
Goodbye Galactica, you won't be forgotten.

wannabeme, I know where you're coming from, but I disagree because this show is pioneering. The last seasons aren't rubbish - they're just different. They don't do the same thing each week or season. There's various perspectives and styles from various writers, directors and cast. Naturally, this means some episodes you will love and one mans meat is another's poison.
I find myself wanting epic space battles every week but you know, there's only so many interesting ideas and twists you can churn out on the same topic.

meix, forget Star Trek tho "The Next Generation" with Jean Luc Picard has some merit but as for the rest mostly time wasters. After B5 one gets very discerning, as its the benchmark for excellent SciFi, the rest besides BSG are all wannabees and childish, unless your a teen lol. Im 53 and know whats garbage after following scifi most of my life.

Best series ending ive ever seen, grew up with Star Trek, they never put so much effort into a finale though, BSG went out with a huge bang, tear, and laugh for me.

Ending is not exactly what I expected but it has logic in it,
connecting us viewers to our lives again (!)
and directing of the final episode is very good.
I think that point of the episode is:
All they always wanted to find is what we , on Earth,
have every day in our lives.
Final thoughts of the episode are: Don`t let robots destroy human kind.
Making War robots and AI without moral principles
is crime against human kind and all life on Earth.
Isaac Asimov`s "Three Laws of Robotics":
1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
I think there should be law that gives instruction to protect human kind
or it can be derived from first and second law.

@baryt06 that is a silly link with no real info, I expect that using these sort of settings will just crash a router/computer. The one and only reason for this down being slow to start was that there were so many people trying to get it at the same time, not that people were not allowing their box to upload.
4. Change global maximum number of connections to 999999 (6x9's)
5. Next line down, Change Maximum number of peers per torrent to 99999 (5x9's)

The ending ****ed.After everything they went through,they decide to throw away the technology and start over as primitives.And everybody agreed to that idea?!And than they decide to split all over earth.Great show,but the ending was ****.For me anyway
