I am having trouble with the patch. I go into the engine file and I the readme.txt says copy patch to install file. So I copied the patch executable and ran it. I hit 'patch' and I get an open window which says at top - Target not found

Try to rename the folder that the files are in to c:\photoshopcs4 for example. This should solve the problem of asking for a cd.

To install it, I copied the contents of the CD to C:\adobe\ and just installed it from their to the default directory.... that fixed the Insert CD garbage
as far as the patch goes i just copied the PhotoShopCS4_X32_Crk to c:\program files\adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\ , ran it, and clicked patch

update: patch caused Photoshop to crash when i tried to open it.... found a different crack for Photoshop CS4 Extended 11.0 and it worked fine.. so something doesn't have a 100% success rate on that patcher

Does anyone know how to get the crack to update properly? I have installed it all successfully, but the crack failed. After I copied the crack from ENGINE, i click patch and a window appears. On the top right of that window a message displays "Target not found". Help anyone?

The software works just follow the steps in post 22 thanks to Zedengen . Also thanks to Xander37mja For posting the serial .
The easy way is to try installing with the serial and if there is some problem then install by the method given by Zedengen.

The serials work when you install it, but once you open it more than once you get that the serials are not valid any longer

People with patch problem.
Right click on the patch, then there is a selection called Run as Administrator. Do that and it works

IF your INSTALLER is in a CD and it's asking for another CD/DVD..
HERE's what you are going to do..
COPY all the FILES inside that FOLDER to any FOLDER (you may create a NEW FOLDER)in your desktop and start INSTALLING..
IF you have problems with SERIAL NO..
CHECK POST 33 and 35..

1st thanks for the great CS4 upload. CS4 x32 and x64 work flawlessly with Bridge.
For those who get the asking for CD message. I had the same problem. I was able to install successfully once I extracted the ISO to C:\adobe. I just installed from there once it was extracted. Updates work fine as well.
I do have a problems with the plugins though. Has anyone gotten them to work? They all install fine, but only into the 32bit version and that's it. Haven't been able to actually use the plugins. Also none of the kegens work. I have the C++ stuff which was mentioned in one of the txt files, and am missing a "masterkeygen?" mentioned in of the txt files. No reg no full function

Download a free firewall, then it will ask you for permission if ANY program wants to access the internet, then just select "block" that way Adobe or Nero cant check for a cracked copy

I know this is an older file now but I have an issue. Tried several times to get it running by installing then patching as per the instructions. This did not work and I was re-installing for a 4th time but the installer says that it is invalid and that I must now use the original software

I have just read that one should download a CS3 cleaner from adobe and run it. It will remove any trace of previous install attempts. There should also be a PDF with it explaining alternate metheods of removing latent files.

Thanks for you patience! But I'd followed everything, and I'm still having problems...
I install with NO problems at all, but
1. After I open CS4 says that my license had expired; or
2. When I replace the file (post 56, topic 4), after a reinstallation, a screen pops-up asking for the serial... And if I re-enter the serial, says that's invalid...
Is there still any hope?

I used method from post#22 and used serial# from post#56, but to solve problem of post # 47 that you can open more than one. You dont have to disconect internet but go to firewall control window, add program adobe cs4 and uncheck. I tested a few time and Adobe dit not verify serial anymore.

What I have done.
1.Disable Bonjour Service (Apple iTunes)-control panel-adm.Tools-services
2.Selected FLEXnet Licensing Service to Manual.
3.Blocked all Adobe and Apple services in Outpost Firewall
4.Go to C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc->open file HOST with note pad.
5.In notepad on a end of text replaced-->1localhost 127.0.0.1 adobe.com-->
--> 1localhost 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com

The problem of onone keygen on vista x64 is that it doesn't show the unlocking key # but weird character so that I can't enter it to the license manager. I just can't see the # in the DOS looking windows. It is fine on XP or Vista x32 though... Does anybody successfully active onone in vista x64? How do you see the unlocking #? Please help!!!!

Nevermind. Works fine. Followed posters instructions above.. Copy whats on ISO to c:\adobe, run setup.exe from that directory, then input serial # listed above..Solves CD request roadblock.. Worked perfect with Vista 64.

ok so I've downloaded it, installed it somewhat okay, but I'm still having trouble with the patch which is bumming me out, I dl a keygen but of course the F#@kers not working, everytime I close and re-open cs4 I'm told I have an invalid serial number
If anyone (which I think a few people have)has gotten the patch to work. Please let me know how to use in a step-by-step instruction..
screen shots would be really great if someone has the time to do that and post them somewheres..
anyway thanks for the download & look forward to a reply really soon.

I had the same problem as the rest and nothing worked for me. Post #82 was the first and only thing that actually worked. Thanks Hawk24!

Hey guys! I tried following step 82 but everytime i try saving it, it tells me to make sure the path and file name are correct. When I open up the hosts file, at the bottom i have 2 things....
127.0.0.1 localhost
::1 localhost
Do i put whats recommended in post #82, Step #8 under the second local host? Please help, its greatly appreciated! And how exactly am i copying and pasting it? Just like it says in post #82?

Just copy that to the end of the hosts file.
Make a new line by hitting enter.
The important thing is that you have a space between the last number and the activate.adobe.com.
