This is real, and it is working 100%.

Word of warning though: seems that after you play the game and stop (by either turning off the PSP or going back to the XMB), it'll say that there are no games on your Memory Stick (yet the space will still be used). DON'T PANIC! For some reason, whenever you play this game, it deletes the "/GAME" folder from the Memory Stick. This is what causes the PSP to report the Memory Stick as empty.

The temporary fix for this is to either a) Plug in your PSP via USB to a PC/Mac, and simply create an empty GAME folder on the Memory Stick's root folder -- or b) use the PSP's "Format Memory Stick" option. Of course, one is more radical than the other, but both do the trick, I tested this out myself.

I am sure a patch will come out for this ISO eventually, that will remove this annoying problem.

Hope this helps anybody with this same issue

It didn't delete mine either, but for some reason during Tour Play, whenever I try to play My Own Worst Enemy I get an error saying the Memory Stick Has Been Removed. But if I try to play it in Quickplay, it's fine. There's a repack posted, I think I'm gonna try that one.

The games is working but the problem is...

Im having this funny prob.
The game vanishes from the XMB.
im using original mem stick sandisk 4GB.phat 5.00 m33 -6.
when i press home and exit the game. i cant see any games in the XMB.

when u exit the game, it deletes the GAME folder from ur MEmory stick so u cant see the games in memory stick...

so its better u directly switch off the psp and dont use home key to exit....

and if u r exiting using home key then go into usb mode and create the folder GAME in the memory stick:/psp folder

I installed the CFW Folder Blocker, followed the directions, enabled it in the recovery menu but still after running the rock band the Game folder still got deleted

After a day of experimentation (reformatting memstick does not stop the bug) I discovered the psp/game folder is only deleted, making the games in your ISO folder invisible, if it is empty. I dropped a little JPEG of my baby boy in there and it stopped deleting the folder upon exiting the game. Hope this helps you all.

If you put a blank .txt file in GAME folder then the GAME folder will not be deleted on exiting the game by pressing the HOME key.

Game is working fine over here, no problems with the MS at all. Only error that occurs to me is when I want to quit the Tour Mode to enter the main menu, my PSP shuts down. Game saved, no worries there, so definetly worth playing.

The game works fine for me too, but the only problem that ive had so far is whenever i turn my psp off and switch it back on again, the game seems to freeze and I am unable to continue playing from where I stopped. Apart from that, everything else works fine.

the game works fine for me. it freezes at times but its cool. I just have one very crucial problem...when i pick the track "ALIVE" by pearl jam. Some problem with this game.. No saving problem, no proble with the "game folder", but i can't play 2 songs: "White Wedding" nd "Today", when i play those songs, my psp sets off..
Anyone whit the same problem??

same problem altho it doesn't seem to happen with particular songs,
just randomly says

"Memory Stick Removed exiting..."

it's really annoying during marathon gigs
when u finished the first 3 songs and it quits to city screen
nothing saved

so I couldn't get through the marathon gigs
which are quite important since they reward u with items to move ahead in the game

working fine on 4.01 m33-2, but having same problems with lurandoth
Memory Stick Removed... Exiting. thus, I can't move on to next gig because I couldn't finish 3 and 4 songs marathon... Hope there's a fix for this.
This game is really cool, especially when you the know the songs.

I found that the game is perfect and works like a charm.... all the people having problems have you tried changes to make it to version 1.50 (Through the boot up menu when you hold the R trigger) (Im running firmware 5.00 m33-6)

Those of you running custom firmware 5.00 m33-2 or m33-3, may need to update your firmware to 5.00 m33-6. I too had the "NO GAMES SAVED" after exiting the game using the "home" button. If you have that problem just place an empty .txt file to your PSP>GAMEFOLDER. First, you'll need to REFORMAT your memory card. Once you've done that add an empty .txt file to your gamefolder by opening up your MICROSOFT WORD DOCUMENT program (don't type anything), save it and place that file in your gamefolder. That should fix your problem....it did mine.

I'm running custom firmware 5.00 m33-6 and it runs perfectly now.

hey i donloaded da file.den i opened da file . den i cliked on da ISO folder.wen it opend it displayed another winRAR file called psy-rbur.iso... wen i cliked on it it started to open da file wid a window sayin extracting blah blah blah..den somewhere betwee 13-16% it displayed- write error in the file psy-rbur.iso.probally the disk is full.[thes are the exact words] den when i clik on da rety below it da same message is displayed again.den wen i clik cancell it displayed some dygnostic centre. and dis ius happening even though i have13.1 gb of free disk space....help!!!!! :'( :'( :'( :'(

psp-frek you must copy the psy-rbur.iso in your iso folder in psp insted of extracing it.because you had installed winrar.it detect iso file as compressed file but that doesn't mean you must extract that!

i still cannot get this game to run! i've upgraded to 5.00 m33-6 firmware and also made all the adjustments suggested by pataponpon, but every time i go to start a tour after creating my band the game just crashes as soon as the 'loading' screen comes up & returns to the home menu!

Im using 5.00 m33-6 and had the same problem that whenever i press home to exit it deletes my folder and notes that there is no game but occupies space So far i tried experimenting all the solutions but only one worked... and that is to "totally shut down or hard resetting" your psp to exit the game... Well at least it solved my problem.. This Game Rocks !!

Anyone get the "a connection error has ocurred (80435061)" message when trying to access the music store? How can I fix it? I read somewhere that a firmware change may be needed; currently I'm on 3.80 M33-5 and I must say, this firmware version has never given me any problems with any of the games I have tried on my system.

hey guys im finding that after playing Rock Band and quitting via the HOME button it deletes the game folder on my psp memory stick, i recreated the game folder on my memory card with a blank text document but the game seems to have permanently blocked my games from appearing in the ISO folder, could anyone give me some usefull advice? it'd be much appreciated

k guys, if u look on the description in the general information thing on the front page of this torrent, it should say somewhere something like testadaeno en (or sumthin spanish like that) and then after it, it should say 5.00 m33-2. so i think you need this firmware to PLAY it coz im using it and it works fine fr me. For all those who have downloaded the torrent but dont know where to put the files:
1. extract the rockband rar. file using Winrar(downloadable from rarlab.com)
2. open the extracted file. Open the ISO folder. Copy "psy-rbur".
3. Paste "psy-rbur" in an "ISO" folder(create one if its not there) in the root of your memory stick.

That's it. simple as abc...

Yes crazyalex, open notepad. dont type anything. Save the file with any name as long as it is followed by".txt". Copy ur saved .txt file.
Connect ur PSP with memory card inserted. Open to view files. If u dont already have folders like "PICTURE", "VIDEO", or "MUSIC" then u will have to format the memory stick.[Do this using the option in the System settings tab in ur psp XMB.
Anyway if u had to format ur memory card or not, now just open the "PSP" folder after connecting the psp and then open the "GAME" folder where u will have to paste the .txt file u saved earlier. now disconnect the psp and play the game (assuming u have saved it in the "ISO" folder in the memory stick root[the first screen u see on viewing the card's files.])

P.S knw this a very long explanation for a very simple task but wanted to make it clear for any noobs

guys

got my cso/iso games
now my problem is

I CANT PLAY THIS GAME ANYMORE. i did before but not i cant

in VSH menu i set it up like this
Clock xmb - default
clock game - default
usb device - memory stick
umd iso mode - m33 driver (and even tried SONY NP9660 and OE isofs

or there is something wrong in the recovery set up?

FINALLY mine is working... i just converted the file into .CSO using ISO compressor which i downloaded and put blank .txt on both ISO and GAME folder to make sure hehehe...

Awesome game, only prob soo far is 2 songs lag Smashing Pumkins and Billy Idol, so very hard too play. Am using 5.00 m33-6 >-)

Awesome, worked on 5.0 M33 until I tried to to go into the Music Store. After upgrading to 5.50 Gen-B, it worked perfectly. Now, can anybody hook us up with some of the tracks you have to pay 1.99 for?

yup...this game messed up my psp, after played once, got the error, "there are no games"

after google, apparently is the game will remove the PSP/GAME folder, that is why you need to put a blank text file into that folder to prevent the game delete the PSP/GAME folder.

and i thought that i was the only one experiencing this problem. first of all i thought that was my cfw (5.00 m33-3 at that time). and now that i've updated the firmware to m33-6 i'll test it again

Hi, I just registered for this site to say that I downloaded the game and it worked, doing these:

- the .txt method, an empty file in the game folder
- cfw blocker v 1.1, follow the instructions in the readme file
- convert .iso to .cso using umdgen

Im using cfw 3.60
