i downloaded it yesterday and cant get it to work at all,i burned it to disc with alcohol but when i load it in to my mashine it wont load past 19% and the same happened when i imaged it,can anyone help

Hi Guys,
I have downloaded it and it works fine !!
I burned it at first but it stops at 26%.
Instead :
1# Burn it onto DVD
2# Mount it with Alcohol 120% and install from there!
3# Get the SaveDisk 4 Hider (just google it) and run it (press hide)
4# Start the game!
Great game but a little "arcade-like" - Personally I prefer MAFIA !!

The reason you cant get out of cars is that ea games installed a new saftey feature, when u put a patch, mod or crack in the game which is not an ea patch,mod,or crack it will cause u 2 be stuck in car.
theres several ways 2 solve mount the mds/mdf files always when playing with deamon tools or wait 4 reloaded crack.

I mounted it with Daemon tools 4 and the same things happen. i cant get out of cars and the mouse camera is inverted.

use daemon tools 4.03HE
mount the .mds
use safedisc emulation in daemon tools
use sd 4 hider - click hide
install
run
leaving sd 4 hider on
works like a charm!

I followed the installation instructions to the letter; using both " skills " and " golhelpers " advice, but i'm having no joy.
using both methods; i.e. mounting with either Daemon tools 4.03 or Alcohol 120% , have safedisc emulation ON, and SD4 hider, I get no reaction from the install file "GDFTHR_inst.exe".
Anyone got any ideas for me?

I get an error saying that I need to install Direct X 9.0c but I've already got it. Very weird, can anyone help. I'm mounting it with Daemon Tools 4.06 and I've tried Safe Disk 4 Hider as well.

i got a goodnews 4 the people have not dnlded this torrent yet. i had dnlded this and my progress was just about 33% then i got this game toed's uploads, mannn he got the same game in about 500 MB, its amazing I stopped this one and dnlded the toed's, you know that really works and my bandwith dnlding this one saved. so wt r u people waiting 4 check this out.

Ok, this is for many questions that have been asked before:
First, download WinRAR to extract the files. After installing this program, the godfather file is able to be extracted. Right mouse click the file and click Extract To, and extract wherever you like. Maybe the desktop or anywhere else, but just remember where you extracted it to. Next, download DAEMON tools, just google it and you will be able to find it. Use DAEMON tools to mount the image. This means, wherever you extracted the files to, thats where there is a "something.mds" file. After you mount it, right mouse emulation and click SafeDisk. Also, download SafeDisk Hider 4 and press hide before installing. After you install it, find the crack folder in the file downloaded and you will see godfather.exe file there. Copy that file into the C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Godfather The Game folder, adn replace the other godfather.exe. After you are done, it should work...

Also, if you see the textures as white, that means that you probably need to buy a new graphics card... 
...The same happened to me until I bought a new graphic/video card

for the Direct x problem extract all files to the hard drive
its includes directx but old version,owerwrite it with directx 9c and load the game
i have the same problem and i fix it...

hey i have installed the game by using both daemon tools first then alcohol as well, but whenever i double on the godfather icon the game starts rolling for 5 seconds then a dialog box appears which says "godfather.exe has stopped working".
i hav up-to-date configuration.
what should i do?

Right after i enter the cd key, It says the install cannot continue, becuase you don't have the latest directx version.. it says i need 9 or higher, and i have 9, so i installd 10.. and it still says that i need 9 or higher..

Nice torrent, great game. The crack doesn't work though.
There's one here that works and fixes the vehicle and other errors without needing SafeDisk Hider

the ToEd direct play version has a buffer overrun problem midway through the game..
does anybody have a clue how to fix this? can i use the crack from this torrent to fix the direct play version?

OK GUYZ IGNORE MY POSTS ABOVE
I extracted the godfather file and found the mdf mds files. I opened Alcohol 120% and openes the mdf file and clicked mount on device. It opened a directory where there is autorun and other stuff. NOW I don't know what to do. I tried to click the autorun but nothing happend just a blank command box that just dissapears after a few seconds. HELP PLEASE. THANKS

I am having a strange problem with the game.The game runs fine .But whenever i try to steal ***** from trucks or rob any bank,the game hangs and the computer restarts itself.A message comes after that "Windows has recovered from a seriuos problem".

Hey guys.. i think i have figured out a way to get this game working..
#1 Download Daemon tools lite or alcohol 120% and install.
#2 Extract the godfather game's .rar files in the game folder.
#3 Mount the .mds file located in the game folder into your virtual
drive(which is actually formed by Daemon tolls lite/Alcohol 120%).
#4 The game gets detected in your virtual drive, open the drive folder
#5 Double click on the 'Autorun.exe' and enter your serial number.
#6 Follow Setup instructions and then play game!
