That the inquisition was knocking itself out to shut him up (and maybe barbecue him) is good enough evidence for me that his prophecies serve God and man. Why would the devil hound his own? I don't need to read a book about it, especially a religious one.

He was not messenger of God simply because if he was he wold have have to do something. Like, stop he ting that will happen in future. but to think that would be stupid, because if God wanted to 'stop' something he would have done it himself, because he's All powerful All wise. So to inform some guy on earth to say these thing has no logic. For what reason? The only solution was the he was informed from satan himself and not 100% correctly.
You have to see the danger of believing in that Nostradamus could 'see' future. After him the 'future tellers' number increases and now we have all sorts of people who 'predict' future...and earn quite a buck for it. And I saw some of these future tellers and they're full of **** and just taking advantage of poor stupid inbread people.

@shadowC10wn, are you including yourself among the "poor stupid inbread people" since you admit having been to see several "future tellers" yourself? 
I don't believe in fortune tellers myself, but calling these poor folks inbred for having their own beliefs is pretty darn low IMHO! 
Also, I'm not sure if you're aware, but mis-spelling that particular rather nasty insult makes you look the quite the fool mate! If you're gonna claim the intellectual high ground, you'd be wise to at least run a spell check!

These days where science is 'everywhere' it's hard to miss that fortune telling ****!That doesn't mean I believe in it.
That's way I put 'future tellers', fortune tellers or whatever they are called these days, inside quotes.
People should be turned away from things like believing in 'future tellers'.
Why?Because all those people who somehow 'see' into the future do that for *****!

Not to mention the automatic denial of God.Only God knows the future and if some person claims that it knows what will happen in future, that person is offending God.You can joke around here as much as you want but I saw once some late night fortune telling where one guy tells future to his viewers and the things there I saw really showed me how miserable people can be.It's not belief and should not be tied to belief!!!
One mother called that guy and said her son is sick and needs help."What should I do?"-she asked.He answered that the boy should start cheering for some german football club.And the mother was totally crying and stuff. I couldn't believe it. He's doing that stuff all the time and receiving more calls every night.He's making tons of ***** on misery of some poor,desperate people who are, yes STUPID.And calling it,'their belief' is giving those lying *******s more *****.

That god that was called into existence by a small group of people a very long time ago to offer an explanation to things they themself did not understand? That god whose name has been abused to kill, enslave and torture people who had different beliefs?
If that is the god you are referring to then you can have him/her..
Religion in itself is/ was never a bad thing. It's the way people corrupted it that has made it the object of adversity.
And everytime in history when someone came along that offered a totally different view on things, like Nostradamus did.. and many before and after him, the so-called righteous religious folk cry out for blood...

As for those who do not believe in God, that is your choice but I just want to make people think what would happen when people would not believe in God.
Remember WWII? Hitler didn't believe in God. He talked about God and acting all religious but he was not a religious person. he believed in 'fortune tellers'. Yes. Some of his military campaigns were started on advice of fortune tellers. There are some documentaries about that.
Stalin didn't believe in God. He looked at people as mere cattle. How many of his OWN people did he killed?And Stalin believed in evolution.
Don't you get it??? If people stop believing in God, what's to stop another tyrant who looks at people as mere evolutionary animals? There is NO HEAVEN OR HELL so I might as well kill some and get away with it. Who's going stop me?

Well, well, well, look who is talking religious fanatics and imbeciles such as shadowC10ne! even Jesus predicted the future and every one can, it is not difficult, there is no such being as Satan if there is then it is the same God of whom u talk about and if u learned to talk to God u would understand much more than u do and no believe in God is necessary no religion is required and no prophet has anything to do! We need people like Nostradamus, to bring knowledge as religions r failing and most of all we need to get rid of the false and twisted Bible! People like Nostradamus work for the benefits and well being of man, religious freaks work for downfall manipulations false ideas promises and slavery of man! Besides have u heard about self awareness and wisdom, self responsibility, love, sounds like those concepts r foreign for religious God fearing freaks u need someone to tell u and force u to do things u have no will of your own and the only idea about God u willing to understand is punishment and guilt, poor God has to put up with u, send u law, commandments and punishment to satisfy your lack of love, self awareness, will and brain, sorry for u really am sorry for your painful existence where u need someone to program u, solution is coming for u, hell is not for those who do wrong or evil, hell is for those who don't understand God and life because there is no other place they can exist in. i believe both of you guys have your points but you cant blame religion for for humanities fallacies. of course there are people who abuse religion as justifications for their actions and there are also people who have no faith which allows them to do the **** they please. what you guys are debating about has nothing to do with religion, but instead humanity. just because i'm a god-fearing man doesnt necessarily mean i have morals and ethics. fearing god and have moral obligations are two different things and that's the beauty of humanity. some just have false ideologies and blurred misconceptions of religion.
