Hi im really sorry i dont know what to suggest. there are a few other versions avaliable on limewire where i got this version i can only sugest that. good luck.

just thought !!!!!have you tried the demo version from the ableton site www.ableton.com if that doesnt work also i expect it will be somthing to do with settings, try that and let me know by posting on this page and ill try and help as much as i can.

ooops didnt mean to post that 3 times but also try downloding demo and if it works try patching the demo file.

The patcher gives me an error message saying it can't patch that file, probably because it's the wrong version.

if you follow the crack instructions properly it works fine on my mac. (Powerbook 1.67 15" ruinning 10.3.9)

Hi.I have a question to all ya sound twickers and sound makers!
My music production mate bought a MAC.He used to have PC (Windows).
When something new came out on torrents we had no problems with installing it.I still have PC(and really enjoy it).Now he uses Proppelerhead Reason 4 HybriD on his MAC(Thanx to RSN for making it in HybriD version).And he is really despered.Now that Live 7 is out (I got it and its cool) he is constanly asking me if Ableton Live 6.0.1 OSX is out.He allready used his 4 months of cracked licence of Live 5.0.1 so the only solution is 6.0.1 since there is no Live 7 OSX on torrents yet.My question to you is:
WHERE CAN I GET ABLETON LIVE 6.0.1 OSX (not for Intel!)

bottom line here... this junk doesnt work! man this stinks. does anybody have any idea where i can get ANY version of ableton live for a mac (and possibly making it even more difficult, for intel/leopard)? all the cracks i have found have the same problems: patchers dont work, and cant unlock.

when im patching, a log appears saying that 1 file will not be patched.i click continue and the only thing that appears in the square is a red cross. but in the meanwhile the ableton icon is k'd
i put the right serial and still asks for the activation code
can anybody help?

i get the k'd thing aswell its just messed up the crack doesnt work (im using leopard btw) i followed the instructions to the letter and tried different ways... the right serial is in and it still asks for activation code - so i just give up and carry on using it in demo mode for the time being - until i want to write something on it.

I've confirmed that the patch works on Panther and Tiger, but not Leopard. It blatantly gives an error while it's patching, saying it can't find something it's looking for within the Live.app package. Then once complete it says 1 file was not patched. The strange thing is, when I A/B the file folders on my Panther Mac and my Leopard Mac I see no apparent difference. Does anybody know where live stores its registration info? And why might it be handled differently in Leopard?
Or for that matter does anyone know where to find a Leopard-friendly Live crack? Maybe of a more recent version?

OK, the file that unlocks Live is called Unlock.cfg
It is located in:
home > Library > Application Support > Ableton > Live 5.0.1 > Unlock
If you don't see the .cfg file it means the patch hasn't worked properly. (Live creates the Ableton folder when it is launched for the first time)
I tried dragging the file from my Panther Mac to my Leopard one, but straight copying is ineffective. So the file must be generated based on the computer's serial number and the Live serial number combined.
Can anyone think of a way to work around this? Maybe tricking the patch into using a different computer's serial number than the one it's on?
Or maybe installing on a non-Leopard machine and then dragging the app and Library data over?

Hi i seeded this torrent, i couldnt find it on bit torrent so i got it off limewire and i thought i would share it with you all. it says no seeeders but im seeding constantly so have fun with ableton.
