Look it up on wikipedia. It's an entirely different architecutre than 32-bit but allows you to use more than 4GB of RAM and allows the processor to process twice as many calculations.
Of course, if your RAM count is low, you may experience more drawback than benefit

What about serial number?
Is it true that reg key from Windows 7 Beta/RC does not work with this one?
