Let's face facts, Ali G was brilliant satire! Borat was ok, but a mediocre character at best! Bruno is a pathetic derivative of every gay stereotype joke that has been done to death before, nothing new there!
FFS, Eminem even came out and publicly stated the MTV Awards stunt was staged! That seriously undermines the supposedly "in-your-face" (pardon the pun) nature of SBC's most recent simulacrum!

@fishscale, to be honest, I didn't pay it enough mind to be fooled or otherwise. That is irrelevant to the argument that the character is not being truly confrontational as purported by media hype! The fact that you found it "quiet" funny is testament not to it's originality or wit, just your low comedy threshold!
