thanks a lot man! worked for me....and for you ray 444, follow the instructions. when it says close kaspersky it means exit the program. left click on your mouse when you hover above the kapsersky logo in your system tray....then do the hack. (change release to beta status in regedit)

i did shut it down i right clicked it in task bar then went to regedit enviroment then the product bit where it says release changed that to beta come out of it rebooted then opened it clicked enable self defense then activate but had no beta there only activate online,activate trial version,activate using the key file so dunno whats happened here unless i should of registered the trial of it then done the hack

sab i done it all ways i cant get that beta to show up m8 i have activated it for the trial then deleted the key unchecked self defense right clicked it close even got task manager up nothing 4 kas was running went to regedit changed to beta clicked ok rebooted then when its started up i clicked on it went to activate beta it wasnt there m8 also tryed doing with not activating it online for trial still couldnt get it to work think this is 64bit not sure cos the poxy thing has now started up in test mode cant get shot of it so going to have to do a s restore if it deletes kas will try again lol

does this imply on K 2009 Anti-Virus? because in the regedit.exe the files are different than what you are showing.

I cannot find an "environment" file under AVP8's file. The only file that exists is "components" and nothing else similar to what you have stated.

by the way...i tried installing this to my husband's PC,
i already uninstalled the AVG8 but eveytime i try to download the Kaspersky, it cannot finish the installation..with a message that i have to uninstall the AVG8 first because it is not compatible w/ K.
why it still shows the same message over and over again even if i already uninstalled the AVG8 and restarted the PC many times.
I cannot comnplete my K installation..***ease help.

hello m8 just to let u know when u log bk in i followed all step and the k is running as a beta trial giving me 1 month but there was still no activate beta still said active online keyfile etc so dunno y but what i will do is run this till it runs out then goto regedit change bk to release then redo it to beta again c if it works ty m8 4 your help not only 4 me but others aswell,will look forward to your clean up apps at mo i use auslogics boostspeed 4.5 does what tune up utilities does,i have the ultimate troubleshooter installed,smart defrag,fresh ram v5 all tweaks 4 firefox as in script editing to make it faster thats about it m8 this is my pc not the laptop lol cheers m8 keep up the gr8 work im sure i can speak 4 all here much apprciated tyvm

You know, as far as I can tell this is no different in performance from simply using a trial reset every 30 days. There's loads of trial resetters that work great with KIS 2010, and they are a one-button solution. I don't see how this is any different in terms of what you actually get - a fully functional KIS 2010 for 30 days when the trial resetter needs to be run again. This method appears to be more cumbersome, of course. Oh well, I guess we need as many different options as possible...

no this is what i done,,,installed k never activated nothing rebooted then closed k opened it and unticked s/def then right clicked exit from task bar then done hack then rebooted again i think then enabled s/def cos when i clicked on activate it still never showed activate beta so i re-enabled s/def then updated that was it i think lol when i done all this i went offline so it couldnt

This thing unfortunately does not work in KAV 9 (2010), and the KAv 8 does not work at Windows 7 final x64.
And to make it worse, KAV 9 doen't have the key input option.
Is there any way to make KAV 9 being hacked?

oophs by the way..any idea what should i do for the message "winupdateexe. setting debug privileges. denied"----it keeps on prompting on my kaspersky screen like 4-5 times every 30 seconds. i just disabled the notification so it will stop popping but i dont know if i have to do something about it.

Sabbathfreakuk - sounds like you should stick to playing with your Mummy's PC and stop pushing useless hacks. Here's one that works very well without having to resort to complicated registry hacks:

1. Disable the Self-Defense. ^1

2. Close your Kaspersky product.

3. Click on 'Start Reset' to begin. ^2

4. Wait for Kaspersky to prompt you to activate.

5. Activate your product using the online method.

2. If the removal of the old license key failes then log off or restart your computer and try again.

Hi, I have a problem, regedit doesn't let me change the product status from release to beta, do you know why could be this??

The error says:

"ProductStatus can't be edited: error at writing the new valor containing" (that's the equivalent message I think, my XP language is Spanish )

have done that m8 it was still the same but it wasnt using beta and it still said the expiry date was used so i just added a key file so it is working at the mo so dunno m8 i reckon they read these sites and iron out i dunno but when i used removal tool it said i had no k, or avg on here b4 i installed it so i dunno ty m8

i did the update already and the repair as well...

during the repair, there's a prompt that says there is a newer source of the file, and there's achoice if i want to overwrite it...i click yes.

then after the repair, it prompts another activation window, i didnt activate..i check the regedit, my data status became "release" again.

do i need to activate beta gain and do update all over?

hi m8 its not a 30 day trial that said it was already gone when i installed it after i had done the clean up with kremoval tool 10,and 9 and the avg removal tool u said so dunno y it was already expired it was a fresh download,i just d./loaded some reg file keys i got about 40 off them 1st 1 i tryed worked and gave me a month so dunno if its worth all going throu again lol been trying 4 ages with it,took off other clean up apps and now just using k trojan remover,tune up utilities 2009,

It seems that is the problem. (I also had a similar problem before when the other system has bit defender installed on it. That 2 systems are considered to be 1 if on lan is something i didn't knew).
So should I uninstall the anti virus on the other system and work with one on the master system only or should i let it be as it is now?

Thanks for your reply, it really helped me a lot to understand the system.

What i have at present, regarding the internet is that i have a wireless modem(wireless connection is turned off at present). The modem has dial-up connection on pc-1 with full protection (KIS 2009). The modem has 4 sockets for lan cable, 1 going into pc-1 and 1 other into pc-2.(Modem is the only link between the 2 pc's. The other 2 sockets are empty) I have internet sharing enabled on pc-1 and set it an ip which i put as a dns and default gateway ip on pc-2. This way both computers are connected on lan and internet.(both systems are on win xp)

pc-2 also has a dial-up connection, but is used rarely(that is it happens less that only pc-2 is active and connected to internet)

Hello SABBATHFREAKUK,

So my setup is ok, but i need to install security protection on each one that is both the pc. Here is the problem the pc-2 is having a problem with KIS2010 saying "Some components cannot be enabled". So i guess we are back to square 1.

i need help. i think nobody's seeding the file anymore. i'm using frostwire 4.18.3 to download the file but it cannot locate any sources.
i tried looking for and downloading a the beatles song and it started downloading right away. so it seems that frostwire just can't really find any source.
i hope others would mind uploading too.
