for who have the problem : Install failed, all you have to do is delete final cut completly ,reboot your mac and reinstall final cut and it will work.

i am trying to burn using toast 10 titanium but every time i go to: copy>image file> burn..*** says cd rom xa cannot be written to dvds. but i dont have a cd to burn it with and isnt it to big? any help is appreciated as i am new to this...thanks

Works Perfect!
If you have FCP already installed:
1) Delete it from your system
2) Restart
3) Install FCP 7 > make sure you uncheck everything.
... and yes the serial number works perfect!

Hi,
I downloaded this torrent successfully but i am held up on the Serial Number part I have read a few of the other coments and It seemed like this is a working torrent. I am very new to this so ANY helpful info is appreciated.
I have a hackbook and judging by some of the other hackbook comments they were successful.

I feel like a complete idiot!!! I downloaded this thing... I put in the serial - it worked... I unchecked all the content boxes... and this thing repeatedly tells me that the download failed and that I should contact the manufacturer. I mean really... what am I supposed to tell them?
I'm running Snow Leopard on a MacBook Pro c. 2008.
Any thoughts?

Solution for those who installed the Apple Pro applications update:
You'll have to remove all the Final Cut Pro suite. I know, but it's the only way I've managed to get it working with the old serial again.
Download "FCS Remover", Google it, it's the first result.
Uninstall your FCS.
Install it again using your old serial.

I had the same problem about the new serial number they asked, so I uninstall FCP and install it again, it's working but not for Compressor, I did the same for this software (uninstall and install), but no, it still ask me a new serial number.
Anybody has the same problem with Compressor?

Im having a bit of trouble installing this. I click install etc etc, Then I input the SN (it works, you just have to type it manually). Then I click off every box. the total size of the install is less than 1MB?? I tried this... It installed but couldnt find FCP anywhere so I re-installed it but left all the boxes checked and it gets no more than 1/10th of the way and fails. after it fails I go to my apps, all the files are there, colour, motion, FCP etc but they do not work. Anyone know what im doing wrong?

Ok, I think this will only install FCP 7. By unchecking the rest, it will not ask for additional 'disks'. I see.

1)Run the "***ast"
2)Uncheck all of the boxes (why? because they contain extras that are on the discs that you dont have!)
3)Finish install
4)Reboot(optional)

unchecked everything and then checked the very first box which is "final cut pro". it automatically checked 2 other boxes below that were ununcheckable. so i continued, and it worked smoothly.

ok alright took less than a day to download actually less then the half of a day lol it works wonderful that just means it opens up and runs so MANY THUMBS UP. As for the serial E-323-JSH-026-XQT-305-GEH-415-PFL-MEB-X37B IT WORKED THE FIRST TIME AND I HIT SOFTWARE UPDATE AND IT UPDATED to the latest and started still WITH NO PROBLEM AT ALL fantastic PROGRAM I'VE USED FINAL CUT EXPRESS AND THIS SHOULD ONLY BE ONLY BETTER so far LOVING THIS
