@33 'Asnamali', are you absolutely sure that is NOT out of sync slightly....or are you just guessing! There is reports on another site it is very slightly OOS, but as i've indicated above, it is very easy to fix and takes a mere couple of minutes, which is worth it.

was about to add my 5 cents worth of it being out of sync as I tried to correct it with Av-Mux and did not register that it was out of sync, but just noticed the J & K control part for VLC so will give that a try.

It never ceases to amaze me how people can complain (and rudely at that) about something that is not only free but that someone put the time and effort into to bring to everyone. Thank you FXG for your time and effort I have never had a complaint about your movies nor will I ever, I'm currently downloading this and if it does have a sync problem I'm sure it's easily fixed. You don't have to do this for us so those with ignorant comments should look elsewhere if they have nothing constructive to say. Thank you to those who nicely commented about the sync problem, it's good to be aware before I burn.

Its ****s man...I've downloaded 3 movies from FXG. All of them are slow though they are seeded.
But, aXXo Rips comes with [101% quality A/V] no compromising & moreover they are 100% seeded. In FXG case its totally the opposite.

O.K. I tried comment 103 way with avi mux, didn't work, made it worse. Perhaps have to do a minus instead of a plus. But also tried to fast forward and wouldn't work. Opened file with gspot and doesn't say the normal thing of "correct file size", this tends to happen with FXG files every now and then (Confessions of a shopaholic being another with this and the sync problem), the only way I could find to get around this was by running the file through virtual dub and altering the sync in that. Life really is to short to bother doing this, so I will wait for a descent copy to come out.

Yun33D, as mentioned in my post 135, some divx players do get a problem with FXG files. I have had some that won't play, and some that play but don't allow fast forwarding. If you don't worry about the sync problem in this one, then just run the whole file through virtual dub. It will only take a couple of minutes and will produce a file that is playable.

O.K. To those that have a problem playing this and fixing the sync, try this. Open file in virtual dub, click on video and choose "direct stream copy", then click on audio "direct stream copy", then click on file "save as avi", a box will open asking you to choose file name, do this and click o.k. Within a couple of minutes, virtual dub will create a new file. For those of you that had a problem playing the file before on your stand alone divx player, you should now find it plays o.k. Now for sorting out the sync problem. I did try this with AVI MUX but it wouldn't play properly on my divx so, I opened the newly generated file in virtual dub, click on direct stream copy again in both video and audio, then click on audio again and "interleaving", in the "delay audio track by" box put in 150 (this is how far the sound is out by as discovered with vlc media player), click on o.k. and then go to "file" "save as avi" as you did with first file. Follow the same steps as before and name the file. As before, within a couple of minutes you will have a new file, this one should be in sync. It sounds more complicated writing it than it really is, but only takes approx 4 mins in total. I did try doing the process in one go with virtual dub, but it didn't work, hence the two pass way. Be interested if you would let me know if it works for you.

it doesn't work....i tried playing it on my mac on quickplayer and then on divx player. It plays for the first 3 sec and stops. I tried forwarding it but then it does the same. i dont know what am i doing wrong. please help.

Audio is definitely out of sync. FXG is generally great, but you can find much better rips of "17 Again" out there.

Fixed out of sync in VirtualDub - direct steam copy of video/audio with 250ms audio skew correction.
