If i convert them to wav, will i be losing any quality?
I guess what i want to know is, if i download itunes, will i be able to burn .m4a files to cd-r? Or will i have to convert them to wav in itunes anyways.
In other words it would be cool to go from .m4a directly to cd-r,
or do i have to convert them to wav to get them to cd-r.
Sorry for all the *******y questions
Also the second side of abbey road, the songs seem to flow into each other, if anyone knows, how do i recreate this on cd-r? so theres no (gap) or will it automatically recreate the retail disc when i burn it?
Thanks cant wait
rubber soul stuck on 8.1% for the last few hours, down speed 0.1 kB/s
abbey road stuck on 12% as well, guess i just have to wait

Jokerpac, forget about itunes, you don't need it. You can play the m4a files directly with Foobar and probably VLC too but I dont use it. Convert them to wave using Any Audio Converter, it's free and it works, you wont lose any quality but the file size will double.
I use Nero burning rom to burn and there is an option called: no pause between tracks.
Fester, I can see you in the list of peers, you're in Ottawa, right? However, there is no sign that you're uploading. I'm just trying Abbey Road for now, and I'm like everyone else, at around 25%, but it's really slow. But I'm in no hurry.

yes I'm in OTTAWA the nations 'Crapitol". My ISP BELL/Sympatico throttles the p2p connection.
Don't despair because, for 8 hours a day you'll be getting double the bandwidth of a regular torrent, so you'll loose nothing time wise. Now to clear up some things from the other thread:
THESE files I have upped are real and NOT the other FLAK format for several reasons, the first of which: to set them apart from the FAKES. The second of which: they are easier to handle for the less technical amongst us. They are easier to convert, will loose no quality and can be formatted and fussed with till the cows come home
Thanks peate for clarifying that you don't NEED to have iTunes to play them. Foobar and VLC will do nicely (I use VLC). iTunes is good for putting them on your iPhone or Pod or what have you.
I wanted to serve as much of the community as possible and clear up the FAKES most importantly!
More to come......scans are finished and came out nice. Documentary DVD is up....with covers and Jacket (Zero region free I might add)....Cheers!

abbey road keeps saying= error:the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process
This first happened about 8 months ago, i googled and found a number of things to do.
i uninstalled google desktop, mp4 player, disabled antivirus and firewall
disabled media sharing in windows media player.
worked great for months but now with abbey road.
it dosnt do it with other torrents, rubber soul is fine
only does it with abbey road
Abbey road is about 25.1%
should i delete it and start over?
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
6.Posted by jokerpac321 on Sep 14 2009 at 00:06
you use vlc to play them unclefester1?
i have vlc and it does not do anything....hmmm
7.Posted by peate on Sep 14 2009 at 00:25
What are you trying to do? You can't play a file until it is completely downloaded.
8.Posted by jokerpac321 on Sep 14 2009 at 00:30
oh ok.
About the Abbey Road error message, should i just delete what i have downloaded
and try again?
error pops up about every 15 seconds
9.Posted by peate on Sep 14 2009 at 00:37
I don't understand what you're talking about. What torrent client are you using? What are you doing to provoke the error message? Don't delete it, just figure out what you're doing wrong. Did you move or change the torrent? Did you try to modify the parts you already downloaded? This has nothing to do with Google or anti-virus. The problem lies between the chair and the keyboard,LOL.

iam using utorrent 1.8.4 (build 16381)
i didnt do nothing, it started out alright then started acting up,
i googled and found the possibilities that might be,when it first started doing it with all torrents about 8 months ago.
so i uninstalled and disabled the possibilities and ran fine for 8 months till now.
i think it has something to do with some program trying to read the files or something.
i dont have the folder open where it is being downloaded, i dont know but before it was with every torrent i tried, this time only with abbey road.
you got me
11.Posted by jokerpac321 on Sep 14 2009 at 01:02
I removed the abbey road torrent from downloading (didnt delete it though) So iam just downloading rubber soul at 0.1kBs and 0 seeds, 10.2%
12.Posted by madmax74 on Sep 14 2009 at 01:32
UncleFester1,
Thank for the torrent. I would like to ask you if you ripped yourself the audio files from the original Beatles stereo remastered CDs. I want to make sure I have the audio files are the best I can get.
Thanks.
Max.

well the rubber soul has error too, says
Error: the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process
I start it up again and it starts like nothings wrong, then a few minutes later it says error.
Only thing i did earlier was try to open a song in vlc with no success,
fisrt "come together", then rubber soul "drive my car", maybe thats what it is.
I dont know what to do, now i cant download
14.Posted by jokerpac321 on Sep 14 2009 at 02:13
i have been downloading another torrent smoothly for a while now.
almost makes me want to delete abbey road and rubber soul and start over.
iam going to try sgt pepper and see what happens
wish me luck

Downloading
16.Posted by ClivePounds on Sep 14 2009 at 03:48
Wait, can I download now? Or do I need to wait until you 'add the scans'?
17.Posted by UncleFester1 (torrent uploader) on Sep 14 2009 at 04:45
There are 794 peers on Abbey Road there are 264 on Let It Be there are 422 on Revolver and 482 on Rubber Soul and 211 on Sgt. Pepper of all those I only have the one asking about errors so, Jokerpac I am going to assume it's something within your system. If you have tried to play them before they were finished the program has "hung" onto them. Do a "3 finger salute" (control , alt and delete, at the same time) and then find the process that has hung and "end process" kill it! That should fix the error (I hope) either that or just reboot and it should be OK. It will have to check the torrent again to CRC. Let me know how it goes!Cheers!
ClivePounds.Scans are ready to up , but I have the other Documentary disc and Boxes in front of them. Grab the ones that are up (they have the Docs already) and then you won't be so far behind the rest.
18.Posted by UncleFester1 (torrent uploader) on Sep 14 2009 at 04:58
madmax74 You're very welcome. As for the rips: I got these from a well known user on a private site. They are real and come with the minidocs. Verified by myself (why up fakes on a private site , with the documentaries attached and risk loosing your account?) They also sound much better than the '87 cd's when you check them, you'll agree. Cheers All!
19.Posted by jokerpac321 on Sep 14 2009 at 05:25
other torrents download fine, its just yours that have the error. i opened two songs with vlc they were not complete
there are so many processes there i dont see anything close to vlc
or video lan
yes i have restarted my computer many times
almost makes me wanna uninstall utorrent and reinstall
i have deleted the files that i had downloded
20.Posted by jokerpac321 on Sep 14 2009 at 05:28
there is utorrent.exe
do i kill that?
21.Posted by jokerpac321 on Sep 14 2009 at 05:30
if i kill processes
its only for the time being right?
they will work again when i restart my computer?
22.Posted by jokerpac321 on Sep 14 2009 at 05:59
some guy on utorrent forum said he previewed an incomplete file and that the only way is to kill explorer.exe
is this harmful to pc?
will i lose my files and folders?
23.Posted by UncleFester1 (torrent uploader) on Sep 14 2009 at 06:21
No problem at all jokerpac. Do the three finger salute (Control alt delete) then when the process is killed under the 'process' tab, switch tabs back to the "applications" tab and click on the "new task...." button in your task manager. Then in the space of the popup type in "explorer.exe" and hit enter. The new explorer will come up! Nothing to it......I do it all the time.
24.Posted by UncleFester1 (torrent uploader) on Sep 14 2009 at 06:27
Just a couple of other things jokerpac: Make sure you kill the process you want to. i/e the 'explorer' and not "ieExplorer" also, make sure you don't kill your uTorrent (unless it's frozen) because when you restart it, it will check ALL of your torrents for redundancies etc. (trust me I know because you don't want to re-check 500 torrents
)If you need to reboot, your system will be fine. Let me know how it goes.
25.Posted by jokerpac321 on Sep 14 2009 at 07:31
Back from the dead.........i hope lol
i just downloaded a nice little program called Unlocker
and it will tell you what processes are blocking your files
as it turns out the culprit was roxio, so i uninstalled it
so far abbey road is at 49%, let it be is next
26.Posted by UncleFester1 (torrent uploader) on Sep 14 2009 at 07:55
Never EVER liked that program lad! It was horrid right from the outset. Glad to see you didn't loose your download. I've also uploaded the DVD of all the documentaries. It has a very nice interface and menu setup (Straight out of the Stereo box!). All working menus etc. Also has the disc scan and cover scan. Look for it under "music" classic pop/rock. Cheers!
27.Posted by ClivePounds on Sep 14 2009 at 11:22
Fester, how confident are you that these are legit? Just listened to the first few secs of got to get you into my life and it does sound very crisp indeed. Do you think I can (realistically) have these done before Sunday? I'm starting uni then and no more torrenting there
28.Posted by UncleFester1 (torrent uploader) on Sep 14 2009 at 13:29
I'm very confident in these rips M8 . I've listened to them on my systems and put them side by side and there is a big difference in the quality. They were also done with the minidocs BEFORE the official release of the boxes by someone on a private site. Most of the fakes and FLAC files out there were done the day of the release (09/09/09)or later, Without THE MINIDOCS!The only way you can be absolute sure, is go out buy the discs and rip them for yourselves. I am getting these as backup for my own collection that will not be opened, but passed on when I've done the same!
As for downloading at a university, that can be done. All you have to do is download the files as TEXT files and keep them encrypted. Makes sure that the firewall your behind can not read you, but a proxy that they come from***'s against the law to read ones Personal mail, WITHOUT WARRANT!(Electronic or otherwise)Good luck!
29.Posted by madmax74 on Sep 14 2009 at 17:59
I have been downloading for around 12 hours and I'm still at 60%. No moving.
30.Posted by timmot on Sep 14 2009 at 19:50
same here - tried a few of these torrents - all stuck at around 65%
31.Posted by inkeyjones on Sep 14 2009 at 22:50
What about superseeding? So someone gets the whole torrent, and we get two seeders?
P.S. thanks Uncle Fester
32.Posted by inkeyjones on Sep 15 2009 at 04:25
Hi
If you uploaded to one person, peate or joker, until they were 100%
Then we would all benefit in the long run???????
BTW thanks again
x
33.Posted by UncleFester1 (torrent uploader) on Sep 15 2009 at 06:26
Yes I thought about a super seed when I started, however, I choose not to because if the seeder gets it and then hit and runs, your all stuck. This way there is pieces all over for the new leachers as well as the old. I'll finish this till it's seeded well. That way no worries.
34.Posted by inkeyjones on Sep 15 2009 at 06:39
I think you may go from just you seeding, to 200 people seeding, in the space of a few seconds
And then you only have the other albums, all the mono ones, to upload, hmmm did I say thanks already
BTW if you put gap to 0 seconds, does that muck up all the tracks that aren't meant to run into each other?
x
35.Posted by jokerpac321 on Sep 15 2009 at 08:17
when do you plan on upping the other ones?
unclefester1 is your mini-doc in .iso or .vob?
once again thank you
36.Posted by jokerpac321 on Sep 15 2009 at 10:56
WoW thats what im talking about
Ive been listening to these with my headphones MiNd BloWiNg
Paul was an amazing bass player, the bass lines are simply genius
cant wait for the others
37.Posted by jokerpac321 on Sep 15 2009 at 11:08
Also, i love how the second side of abbey road is identical to the original cd, hopefully it will burn that way
38.Posted by MartinB123 on Sep 15 2009 at 12:14
Awesome uploads, my Father will be very happy with these!
When burnt to CD are you implying that they'll be the same as the audio if it were to bought from the shops? If so, all I can say is awoooga!
39.Posted by Gratefuldoud on Sep 15 2009 at 12:46
Thx Unclefester
I noticed a problem on two tracks : Sgt Pepper & Good Day Sunshine. Am I the only one ?
40.Posted by karelw on Sep 15 2009 at 13:08
First of all thanks for the downloads.
I have the same problem with those two tracks, downloaded the sgt. pepper track for a second time, but it does have the same problem at 1 min 40 seconds.
41.Posted by danielmoura1 on Sep 15 2009 at 13:22
same
42.Posted by danielmoura1 on Sep 15 2009 at 13:24
What time is the problem in Good Day Sunshine?
44.Posted by madmax74 on Sep 15 2009 at 13:51
I downloaded them. Thanks. I did found a problem in the Sgt. Peppers song at 1:40. UncleFester could you verified this song is good on your side? Thanks.
45.Posted by Gratefuldoud on Sep 15 2009 at 15:55
For Good Day Sunshine the problem (or maybe MY problem)is at 1:58
46.Posted by peate on Sep 15 2009 at 15:59
I just listened to Sgt Pepper, indeed a two second gap at 1:40. Also, I find that they sound exactly the same as the flac files I downloaded before. Is it just me? I compared them in Gold Wave and they look identical. Hmmm. I think I'll just wait untill I hear the CD's in person next week. This is too confusing for my old ears.
The mini docs are the same thing as the BBC special that Jokerpac refered to in that other thread.
47.Posted by danielmoura1 on Sep 15 2009 at 16:03
I'm not getting a problem for Good Day Sunshine, i'm guessing it's just you... :S
48.Posted by ClivePounds on Sep 15 2009 at 16:40
Gratefuldoud, are you sure you're not referring to the high-hat sound of the drums that hits at 1:58? It does sound a bit like a glitch yeah but it's just ringo
49.Posted by ClivePounds on Sep 15 2009 at 16:42
Actually I'm having second thoughts
50.Posted by ClivePounds on Sep 15 2009 at 16:44
Nope, I was right. Just checked my old version and it's a high-hat
51.Posted by UncleFester1 (torrent uploader) on Sep 15 2009 at 16:53
OK all, your very welcome. I like doing things for the community that others take credit for. Not a big deal, until they muck them up. The mini docs are not compiled they are a straight shrinkrap of the box set DVD. All menus are intact. Oh yes, the files can be burned straight away or left as they are. If reburned you basicly have the reatail copy. There is a two part process to burning them back to disc.......make sure you use MULTISESSION AND DON'T CLOSE THE DISC UNTIL YOU HAVE ADDED THE MINIDOC! Did I leave anything out? I've been seeding the boxes on Demon for some time now. Those of you that have accounts please go there and find them. I'll up them here starting today. MONO set first (That way I can continue on with the individual albums and they can be compiled together to make the STEREO BOX (2009).There is going to be a single up of Sgt Pepper as there is a problem with the track. Sounds like the laser at a spec of dust for a second. I'll fix that today or maybe up that track with the next album.Sorry lads, I'm doing a million things at once and trying to keep up! (Have I told you all I'm a college professor of Computer Sciences and Forensics? Keeps me very busy. I'm also seeding 157 torrents on "ILOVECLASSICS". c o m Check it out if you like classic movies ! Cheers and TA!
52.Posted by ClivePounds on Sep 15 2009 at 17:01
I'm confused, when are you upping the next 7 stereo albums? Can't wait for them, thanks so much
53.Posted by ClivePounds on Sep 15 2009 at 17:03
Oops, I meant to say the next 9 stereo albums!
54.Posted by danielmoura1 on Sep 15 2009 at 17:03
Excellent work, thank you so much for your time
55.Posted by Gratefuldoud on Sep 15 2009 at 17:31
Ok I checked my old version of Good Day Sunshine and there is a "high-hat"... So thx guys now I feel myself ridiculous
It's weird I never noticed that before.
56.Posted by madmax74 on Sep 15 2009 at 20:04
UncleFester1,
I hd listen to the CDS and they do sound like the real thing!. Beatiful sound, specially Abbey Road. Can't wait for you to upload the other albums, specially the White Album. Gracias!
Note. Only one not working is the Sgt. Peppers songs.
57.Posted by UncleFester1 (torrent uploader) on Sep 15 2009 at 20:48
Can't understand that one madmax74 I should have checked them before I upped them, but no big deal. I'll up it with another few albums as part of a torrent (on it's own for those of you that want to grab it that way. Just uncheck the box that you don't want , in your torrent clien/software). I've been so busy and I have two classes of 30 people each at the college as well. I'm going to up the mono box right now. Cheers!
58.Posted by jokerpac321 on Sep 15 2009 at 21:00
Does anyone know if imgburn supports multisession?
cant seem to find it
What are you all using for burning purposes? Nero i guess
What is the best burning software to download, thanks
59.Posted by jokerpac321 on Sep 15 2009 at 21:08
i guess i need to convert the minidocs from .mov to .wav
right?
60.Posted by UncleFester1 (torrent uploader) on Sep 15 2009 at 21:27
jokerpac321 Go and get my MiniDoc DVD....***thing to convert. It's the actually DVD with all the Menus working etc. (Someone else is taking credit for the up , but who cares? As long as the leach seeds it
). Cheers M8. I've just upped the MONO box and SCANS.
61.Posted by ClivePounds on Sep 15 2009 at 21:29
When's the rest of the stereo collection up?
62.Posted by UncleFester1 (torrent uploader) on Sep 15 2009 at 21:29
By the way for all that are wondering. You can rip these albums back from your iTunes Smart Playlist with having to do a thing. That is the reason why they are ALAC files to begin with. Cheers!
63.Posted by ClivePounds on Sep 15 2009 at 21:42

64.Posted by madmax74 on Sep 15 2009 at 23:39
UncleFester1,
About my message, I was just saying that there is a sound gap in the Sgt. Peppers song at around 1:40 but I had read after writing my messagre, that you are aware of this. Thanks.
65.Posted by jokerpac321 on Sep 16 2009 at 00:04
I have been trying to download the minidoc dvd unclefester1, this is it right?
h*tp:w*w.m**in*va.o*g/tor/2946055
min*nova says 578 seeds/517 leechers, but utorrent says 0 seeds/0 leechers
Guess i gotta wait
One more thing, i have normal cd-r's, if i burn the individual docs with the music onto cd-r, will i lose any quality on the music?
Are the docs ready to be burned in .mov?
or do i have to convert them to say .wav or something?
66.Posted by jokerpac321 on Sep 16 2009 at 00:14
iam debating whether to burn the individual docs with the music or not
what are the rest of you doing?
music and docs onto cd-r?
or just music onto cd-r?
I plan on downloading the DVD anyways
67.Posted by inkeyjones on Sep 16 2009 at 00:56
Me,
I'm planing to do them as many albums as possible onto DVD (at CD quality)
So I can put it on and have them run in chronological (album by album) order
I may do them as individual CDs as well
But as most of them are aroun 30 mins long, it would be cool to have them all on two DVDs
x
Oh and I'm getting both the stereo and mono versions (too sad)
Though when they come down in price I will buy the stereo set, as the real thing is best - but at £170 it's not an option
x

I just dowloaded Abbey Road and listened to it before downloading anything else.
I´m not trying to be disrepectful to Unclefester1 but if these are the real ones, they are just the same as the old digitally remastered CD's with left & right inverted.
Talkin' about downloading ****.
If anyone here thinks that these are the real 2009 ones, well you are plain DEAF and you deserve to beleive whatever bull**** you want to.
I´m moving away from this fake remaster.
Until the REAL ONES are posted I´ll keep trying to download them. But if they are not the real ones I´ll just label them:
B*LL****
DO NOT DOWNLAD

Uncle Fester: Thanks for your torrent...and all of the hard work. I really appreciate your efforts here...BUT...I signed up to do more than just thank you...I would like to address something here, especially to pedroramirez01 and his seemingly endless whining.
Pedro, so far, you have uploaded precisely nothing. You leach and gripe. Has it dawned on you that you can just as easily run down to the store and buy these CDs if you want to? I am fed up with people who whine and complain about what they are getting for free here. No, not only whine and complain, but hit and run, set upload to 11, and then have the gall to whine when it isn't signed by McCartney. You are so obviously a shill that it isn't even funny.
...and Pedro...I have been a musician for about 42 years now...and these are just fine. I would suggest the one with the hearing problem (and the ingratitude problem) is you..***t Fester...and not the rest of us. I have read every single one of your posts...and you are quite possibly the single biggest **** I have ever encountered. Go shill for RIAA or EMI somewhere else, OK. Leave the rest of us alone.
We may be "DEAF," but you are callow, ungrateful, and foolish...and we can get hearing aids. The world does not owe you anything.
I apologize to the others on this thread, but this guy is just taking it too far.

Your all very welcome. I'll be upping some more in a short while. I just got in the door. Cheers and TA! for the appreciation..(it's all I ask!)
(These next ups will have a 'little something extra' with them...I suppose they'll be FAKE too? rotflmao) Cheers!

Fester...BTW...I like the movies too. (I am Yggdrasil over there) I am a major Beatle fan...and an even bigger Japanophile and Otaku. For that and this...Domo arigatou gozaimasu!

Uncle Fester: A question? How can I rejoin the tracks to make an album? I have never done AAC before, just FLAC and MP3. Thanks.
77.Posted by UncleFester1 (torrent uploader) on Sep 16 2009 at 04:41
Find a program called Digital Media Converter (it is what is used to 'extract' the VOB files from the DVD and up them as .mov files). Or you can use iTunes 9 and it will compile them for you. I think the iTunes "Smart Playlist" is what you use (Apple users HELP! I need somebody's HELP! Not just anybody's HELLLLLP! YOU MUST BE AN APPLE HEAD ) TA!As for the scans, they are not mine but I am 99.999 percent sure they are real (unless the 2009 date on them and STEREO Apple logo on the sides and the fact the discs say enhanced on the back are fake ? ROTFLMAO Pedro are you listening?)
I think my next project will be ISO images of the complete albums. (My plan is to indoctrinate everyone into BEATLEMANIA and NEVER let it die).......right....i'm on me bike! Cheereo!

RiccardoNariz, in Apple's iTunes just create a "Playlist" (don't create a "Smart Playlist"
. Just make sure the order is fine and press "Burn disc" at the bottom and right of the application. it will create a fine AUDIO CD. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much UncleFester! I've got your first 5 albums, am dl'ing the mono set, and am eagerly awaiting the next batch of stereo albums. You ROCK!!!! Thanks a million for putting in the time and energy to share these with us. <3

PART 1
Well RiccardoNariz, you are just another frikking commie. You don´t argue or rebate the reasons I gave in order to make my point, which anyone can do on their own and either agree or disagree. You simply disqualify.
I've read what you have written and there´s nothing there that disproves what I hold as true. So whatever you say is just NOISE!.
BTW, I can´t go down to any store to buy the box because in Venezuela has not arrived any original copies yet. It is not for sale here and I think it´s going to be awhile before it gets here. But that is not the case. Whether I buy it or not, it is not of your concern. It just happens that I first download and listen the free PIRATED copy that some other guy posted and then decide if I will buy or not.
If you are a musician for about 42 years now, man, you must be an amateur one that think that is some sort of god when playing an instrument. As a Recording Engineer I've seen a lot of mediocre musicians out there that claim to be very good when they are really only acceptable. Would this be your case?.
And do you have EARS?
82.Posted by pedroramirez01 on Sep 16 2009 at 05:28
PART 2
And finally, I hate guys that claim to post one thing and end up posting another, even if it is done in good faith. All other beatles torrents are just old remastering claiming to be the new ones. It is just a matter of time when someone will post the real one. Would you be the one? Or are you just another leecher like most of us.
And finally, all of us that upload or download torrents here and in every other site are outlaws werther we like it or not. So what´s the fuzz?
If I say "Gee! thanks, good job, I have never listen to something as good as this" then it is ok and I a good guy. But if I say that I don´t like it, and furthermore, tell you why, then I must be thrown out here, I´m a lunatic and so, and so.
To the leechers out there: keep leeching but please leave the torrent alive for at least one day after you completely downloaded it. Seed!
To the uploaders: keep up the work.
and finally

You pedro are so wrong and jaded it's not funny. Why don't you hop on one of your leetle burros and vammooos. Leave the people here in peace. If you say they are FAKE then fine. They are fakes.....whatever. Get over yourself. Do you do this because you have no life? Or are you really convinced that people will stop and listen to your addle minded chanter? Get lost, before I report your account and have you and your IP address BLOCKED. I don't post fake files. I've been doing this for DECADES little one DECADES. Part of the torrent reality is: every now and then you will get a fake file.Happens to the best of us. These are not! PERIOD. I have a very good reputation on MANNY major sites (Most private and closed THANK GOD to the likes of you)>
Now bugger off before you make someone angry!
Better yet shut up and post the real ones.....you know: PUT UP OR SHUT UP?
84.Posted by pedroramirez01 on Sep 16 2009 at 05:46
So they listen to you but not to me or anyone else?
Do whatever you want. Block my IP. They will still be fakes no matter what.
But the best part is that you, a thieve, a pirate, an outlaw claim to have GOOD reputation!!!!!! Come On!
Keep feeding lies to the little people that "listen" to you.
For me, I´m out of here to any other of the thousand PIRATE torrents sites out there.

I always hated the cartoons,
still love you though Uncle Fester
so once you put up the stereo ones, than that's all the remastered titles yeah?
Are they going to touch up the Anthology?
Oh and Uncle Fester is it true there's a racist version/demo of Get Back by the Beatles. With different/racist lyrics.
I thought I heard one on a bootleg once, could be my imagination.
Anyway, thanks xxx

I have the original abbey road 1987 disc
and i was comparing that to these files, major difference
not only are these files louder but there warmer and clearer
the '87 disc is total crap, do you have the original 1987 disc pedro?
or did you download it in a torrent and think its 1987? because you might have the new 2009
abbey road, i think festers right, some torrents have the real 09 and 87 files mixed together, if thats the case you might be expecting too much fromthe remasters. believe me pedro the 1987 cd dosnt come anywhere near as good as these files.
iam using foobar2000 with headphones what are you using to play files pedro? If you dont have the 1987 cd, then you shouldnt be saying that there the same, cause there not
thanks for the cartoon series fetser, nice BEATLE gems

Pedro DeLaToole: Sport, I don't need to block your IP..*** would cut down the comedy factor here. From here on out, I will simply read your crap and laugh...and completely ignore you. (BTW, didn't you say you were leaving? I don't see the imprint of the door**** on your derriere.)
In life's great Battle of Wits, you are but half-prepared. You are proving yourself to be of poor breeding, which is the obvious explanation for your tin ear.
Now, let's follow your train of logic to its inevitable conclusion. You say you can't go to the store and buy the box set because you live in Venezuela. (Odd, seeing as how your bogus economy is pumped up with Petrodollars.) OK, fair enough. So, that means, you are depending on getting a torrent of the albums. Ergo, the only correct course of action would be for you to anger the only people who can help you out, through insult, invective, and ad hominem. Yes, that makes perfect sense..****BIZZARO-WORLD!
Wise up, then shut up. If you don't like the food at this restaurant, eat somewhere else. Of course, your selection will be limited, as there are few who get a free lunch...and even fewer who get a free lunch after they complain about the food.
In the words of the wise people of Japan...Baka yaro! Chimpoko!
90.Posted by RiccardoNariz on Sep 16 2009 at 07:13
...and Pedro DeLaToole laments, "For me, I´m out of here to any other of the thousand PIRATE torrents sites out there."
Ah Pedro, this is what...the 4th time you have said you are leaving. And, accusing me of being a "thieve?" The word that is vexing you is "thief." Can I ask what you were downloading? Senor Pot? Meet Mr. Kettle.
Anyway...check please. Hey Peds...this one is on me.
MODERATOR PLEASE: We have someone abusing the site. His name is Pedro. Can we get him to peddle his EMI/RIAA troll action somewhere else? Thanks, from all of us.

The next ones were supposed to have been up last night. However I had a very busy day, late meeting, late dinner and then all the other side stuff I do on a normal evening (I'm on several other sites and even moderate on one!)I started to rip the Mini Docs down and one the of the systems went south for a while.(I think it's the new graphic card settings). I added some extras to the next one as well as a "FessUp" Apple Logo. This will show they came From Me and not someone else. If you burn these to disc, you may want to take that scan out.(Although it's an actual Beatle/APPLECORE logo). If you put them up on another site, please leave that in there to show the files came from me and not some fake poster. TA! I've also added the end credits from the DVD as well. Should give those folks credit too. It and when you can, buy the set (keep it sealed you'll have your backup already LOL).I don't begrudge Sir Paul or anyone their millions. (But I will down load "backups"
of the tunes)Cheers All!
It's Weds 16, Sept Should have the first of the next batch up in half an hour or so!

OK...we're back on track. The next albums are up (Both double albums)! The "White Album" has the mini doc in volume one. Redundant to put it in the second as well (also seeding will go a little faster). Yellow Sub and Magical Mystery Tour in the ques. Cheers All!
p.s. Past Masters has no mini doc. I'll up it as a separate file or I can add it to the original torrent and you can re down it and point it at your original download (the one without the mini doc) Let me know how you'd like it. No big deal.....either way!

HEY, This is Murray the K and his Swinging Soiree, just calling out to Bernard P...yo Bernie, catch this...I also posted it in two other places that you trolled. Why don't you and Pedro/Escrutinador get together for a Vaseline Party?
BERNARD P: Well, I read your "impressive" comments on your "impressive" stereo equipment. Well, I must admit, I cannot hold a candle to your "impressive" setup...as I only have a Q9650 DAW, with an HT Omega Striker 7.1 that flows through 6 Mackie MR-8 speakers and an "unimpressive" Behringer B-2092A Subwoofer...and these are the real deal. Of course, I took the liberty of also playing them through my Onkyo 7.1 and my "modest" Audio-Technica ATH-A700 cans. They sounded pretty good there too. They also sounded OK through my Grados, which are state of the art studio cans. Of course, I have only been a musician for 43 years, so my "untrained" ear may not be as acute as yours. (Note sarcasm, a useful tool at times.)
Bernard, all I can tell you is this...if you don't like what you are hearing, go download them from somewhere else. Or, better still, download these and buy the boxed set, like I did. Nobody is twisting your arm to take these fine uploads from Uncle Fester.
Once again, I am startled by the ingratitude that I have seen on these threads. Uncle Fester is doing a great service to us all...and all I hear is whining.

Burtn a few uploads to disc and listened to them through my car CD player as just moved and my hi-fi isn't set up yet.
Wow is all I can say. Awesome, really makes it feel like history is being made with these decent re-releases.
Any news on Magical Mystery Tour and Yellow Submarine?

It's were it should be M8. Click on my name and you'll see it's there. And it has an auto load mini doc as well. You can basically burn it to disc and have a regular copy. Or, play the mini doc as it plays on the disc: just double click on the Macromedia player and "bobs your uncle". Cheers!

A question to UncleFester1.
This is the list of the remastered albums I found:
The Beatles Remasters:
Please Please Me
With the Beatles
A Hard Day’s Night
Beatles for Sale
Help!
Rubber Soul
Revolver
Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
Magical Mystery Tour
The Beatles (The White Album)
Abbey Road
Let It Be
Past Masters
Yellow Submarine
Please Please Me and Magical Mistery seems not to be here. But the number of albums is fine, 14/14.
Do u know more?
Tnx

Hiya apeiron69......the albums you are looking for are here. The numbering went wrong due to the two slots The White Album and Past Masters took up , respectively. I listed the others as 1/2 and 2/2. Click on my name and you'll see them there. Cheers!

Abbey Road holds the definitive proof.
After looking on the web for examples of the kind of non-subjective and easy to hear difference between an original CD and its Remaster version, I found one that fits the bill 100%: On the first-gen CD of Abbey Road - I Want You (She's So Heavy), at 4:28, there is clipping distortion (a kind of bzzzt) over John's shout. On the Remastered version, this clipping sound has been removed.
This easy listening test can be used to validate the authenticity of these ALAC files (PASS!) or of other Remasters collections.

There was never any doubt M8. People like Pedro
need to grow up and learn! Why would anyone in their right mind upload fake torrents and waste bandwidth and the ***** on an ISP? IP blocking and logging is so easy to use it's not funny M8. As a mater of fact 99 percent of all Microsoft products come with trace-route built in. Pedro's incessant trolling did nothing but put him and his immaturity under a microscope. I've never put up a fake torrent in my life. When I've even downloaded one with problems of any kind, I cease to seed them and immediately let people know there is a problem. I know people that get a bad download and continue, figuring "what the heck,it happened to me too so why not some other unsuspecting person?"
Not very "Marquess of Queens-bury rule" if you ask me. I'm always about fairness and equality,(mind you, I can play the prat when provoked. But that is very rare indeed! Pedro came very close!).I'm a very community minded person, so doing this is my way of giving to others. One thing I learned growing up was "Give what you would like to get, yourself" I think that's very similar to "do unto others". At any rate, I'm glad everyone is convinced now. We'll get "on with the show"! Cheers M8!

UncleFester,
Thanks so much for all the time and effort you put into these and your responses to the many questions/comments/whatnot here. My simple question: (I'm not a total newb, but am a little overwhelmed by/uncertain of the many and varied differences and individual opinions OF different audio file types) Are the m4as in this torrent roughly equivalent/of comparable audio quality to the original source? Would FLAC be better? In other words, what are the best possible, highest quality audio files I can get of these tracks? (And is the general audio hiss in the background of all the songs ('87 master AND 2009) simply native to the original recorded song/sound equipment from 1969?)
Thanks again for your time,
~AgentQ7
119.Posted by UncleFester1 (torrent uploader) on Sep 30 2009 at 04:31
First of all I'd like to address the confusion of LOSS LESS formats: they are just what the name implies. ALAC and FLAC are basically the SAME except the ALAC or Mp4 will work with APPLE native products and software whereas, FLAC are mostly the generic LOSS LESS format. If you must get a format use the FLAC/ALAC as the sound is intact (right down to the pops and hisses that your hearing). When they do re MIX these (as opposed to remaster) they will be much better re. The LOVE album etc.
mp3 rips are not for the AUDIOPHILE but rather a convenience for the masses. It really sounds bad if you know the music well. The best possible reproduction (backup
you can get are the IMAGE files.
Now, about being a NOOB: if we weren't NOOBs at some point, we never would have learned anything. I've been teaching for several years and have decades of experience (Timex Sinclair anyone?)and I don't know everything and I'm still learning!!!
The only bad question, is the one you never asked or were afraid to!\
Cheers M8! Hope that helps....
120.Posted by UncleFester1 (torrent uploader) on Oct 01 2009 at 06:23
Lossless and lossy compression are terms that describe whether or not, in the compression of a file, all original data can be recovered when the file is uncompressed. With lossless compression, every single bit of data that was originally in the file remains after the file is uncompressed. All of the information is completely restored. .
On the other hand, lossy compression reduces a file by permanently eliminating certain information, especially redundant information. When the file is uncompressed, only a part of the original information is still there (although the user may not notice it). Lossy compression is generally used for video and sound, where a certain amount of information loss will not be detected by MOST users.(Unless you've had a BANJO stuck in yer ear for twenty years!)
Using LOSSY compression, the creator can decide how much loss to introduce and make a trade-off between file size and image quality.
Just to reiterate and clear up any confusion on anyone's mind! Cheers All!

m4a is a good choice. Also a lossless codec. Now hopefully we'll be able to compare. Thanks Unclefester.
Jokerpac, these can also be converted to wav using "Any audio converter" and burned to cd.
