I like to have em in 1 CD
and the quality isn't a MAJOR change, I've seen movies with 900 MB's as good as 1.4GB's
maybe a slight difference

@ 20 (RoarOfZonda) Yes, its so damned difficult to join 2 files into one large file with free software! *****. I did it and it took me only about 13 seconds. The quality of this download is good, but not as good as the previous mentioned download. Night and day really. Oh and it only took my Utorrent program about 45 minutes to download all 1400 megs. Why would you want the smaller version? FXM is truly awesome with his ups, but this one was a little too late and a little too compressed. But thanks anyhow.

The scene version came up first then a few hours latter FXM uploaded his, and as much as I like FXM I don't think he has access to prerelease DVD's as he usually uploads after the public release of a DVD

i had the same problem with the preview once it's downloaded its fine the preview also takes a bit off the heads not sure why but iv just been playing it throu windows media player and it's fine now.

Thanks FXM A8 V9 iMBT copy has better sound since I have seen this I like the small file size for storage and one file over 2 is always better to The vid I give a 9 for both! Thanks for the hard work! I don't do this a lot but I will see out for 5 hours at 600kb/s setting to help out!

If you have speed problems check your net work and your torrent handler settings I got this file in 1h 15 mins and I am seeding at around 600kb/s my self screen cap to prove it included

If you got Comcast and you torrent have a job and can afford it you can now up your speed to 50 mb for around $90 more a month witch is like half the speed of a T3 internet connection for 1/8th the price of a T3 and download and up load speeds are great! They also have a 22mb package for only $20 more! They don't advertise this I only found out from calling them and it is new only started it on Sep 1st

I really dont understand what all the fuss about the 2 CD thing is.
Download Boilsoft Video Joiner for free and merge the 2 CDs. Then you've got one file with a better quality. Job done! I did this for the iMBT version no problem. Superb movie. It helps if you are a Trek fan though.

When you pull a file, a torrent handler default setting for seeding is 1.5 ratio if you want to keep seeding it you have to right click on file and go to properties over ride default settings and set ratio to what ever you want! For this file I set to 600 so I download the file 1 time and send it out 6 times then it will auto stop! 6 for 1 is a fair deal I think

And on this file I reached the 1.5 ratio only 3 mins after I got the full file my self so if I had not gone in and reset I would not be seeding any more Utorent would have shut down the seeding on the file 3 mins after it was done downloading, and a lot of times that happens and seeding drops off quick

I think the video is fine. No it is not BR but still very clean.
The audio is also clean but I think it lacks volume.

It is still a great copy and unless a BR rip comes along soon, this'll do me until I buy the DVD.

This is a pretty good copy. However the detail is just not there in the space battles. Its a bit grainy/blurry which is quite noticeable.
I would recommend a 1.4gb version for this movie if your after a higher definition.

I'm glad I didn't buy this piece of trash - thanks to the uploader for giving me a chance to see this mindless, special effect-laden cgi action flick for what it really is - a big steaming pile of garbage.
I really don't care if they continue making star trek - or if they scrap it and come up with something more original - because if this represents what is supposed to be the reimagining of this show - then maybe it does belong in the scrapheap.

Awesome download FxM! Thank you! After converting and burning looks great! DL took awhile but I have a slower connection so most DL's do take awhile. TOTALLY worth it however! By far the best Star trek movie to date! Even my girlfriend liked it and that says ALOT since she hates star trek! Perfect choice of the casting of "Bones" and brilliantly executed by Karl Urban.
