No I don't get you? Why would this be a violation of all underground artists? If game designers would want to have something interesting featured like this we would also do it.

Hey! Thanks! This is one if the best Hip Hop releases i've heard in the last year.

razpro...do you use your brain on a regular basis or are you just stupid ?

this album ****s. i deleted it promptly. if you want good newer hip hop get some immortal technique, la coka nostra, ill bill, jedi mind tricks, etc.

I havent listened to it yet but I completly agree with jhanto86. All that he listed it good/true hip hop. I would so add: Del Tha Funkee ****sapien, Swollen Members, Lupe Fiasco, and Nas.

"T-PAIN, SNOOP DOGG, THE GAME, LIL KIM, E-40" = NOT HIP HOP.... these artists are RAP/RNB... and MAINSTREAM COMMERCIAL RAP/RNB at that.

I would bet I'm not the only one who has purchased music because they were given the free sample and liked it. Especially when it comes to free music videos on YouTube. If an artist asks me nicely to support their work if I found I liked it (especially if they asked for comments about the music as well), I have more of a tendency to do so because they offered the bare bones to me without restriction (unlike software programs who cut out half the benefits of the program in their trial packages). It shows they value me as a listener and I show them I value their work by using my hard-earned dollars to support them. If you give the public the chance, they will support you in any way they can, as long as freedom from restriction is involved. You should check out the music portion of that documentary US NOW. If the music business had embraced Napster and figured out a way to take ADVANTAGE of the huge numbers of it's users instead of taking them to court they could have made millions. All they did was fracture everything down to bit torrents. Resistance to change is futile. The smart man learns to ride the wave and make it work for them.

It wasn't too bad.
Not something that's gonna live in the history books, but it aint as bad as the no-hopers here are saying.
Atleast you're living and doing what you wanna do right? Unlike those that don't have the ambition to get their tired azz up n into it.
Keep doin what you do bro, cause the haters are always going to aswell

Hi guys its Mams here. I am not going to pretend that i am too cool to read comments and feedback! In fact, I read every single one from here, Youtube and everywhere! LOL (Nerdy but true) However, I have never commented until right now, so i thought it would be cool to do so right here.
Firstly i am grateful to Mininova for allowing me the opportunity to use their awesome site as a platform to connect with others. Music is art and expression and to be able to share that which is my passion and love with others is a true blessing. I embrace sharing music on a site like this which enables artists to be heard on a global platform, whilst giving listeners exposure to new music they may otherwise have never heard.
I am not signed to a major label despite crappy offers which would have stifled my creativity and turned me into a robot. Deals designed to rob me financially and more importantly rob my integrity so FU to the institutional way! I did this all myself from being a kid with nothing but aspirations and dreams to where i am now and humbly i acknowledge i still have a long way to go. Thats the most exciting part of life...being present with the journey.

I want to say thank you to anyone who took the time to download and listen to the album. For those who enjoyed listening to what i enjoyed making i am so honored to have the connection. For those who did not find it to their taste and have expressed such in their comments, i am grateful to you guys too. Time is valuable and to have spent any of it on what i took time putting together i can only be appreciative. Everyone is entitled to an opinion (even if it is the correlation between me dying my hair and thinking im hard?! lol) and i am so blessed to be able to do what i LOVE and i continue to grow as a musician, an artist and as a human being and i look forward to that reflecting in my music.
"The Lost Album" is fun, great for the clubs and i was fortunate to have friends that i was able to work with and learn from, making this album. For those who are familiar with my work, you know i am producing for artists from a variety of genres and i will be sharing that stuff on here soon too! Also I am excited to be working on my next album which is truly genre bending and very rock influenced. Its a darker album with more lyrical depth and perhaps a more accurate representation of who i am NOW and the struggles of the journey that took me here. Its quirky and risky but its ultimately my truth. I am in humble gratitude to be able to express and connect so once again...thank you to the supporters and haters and just THANK YOU to EVERYONE! Please feel free to connect with me on all the usual, twitter, fb, ******* etc! Take care.
Peace, Love and blessings
Mams

listen to "United For Neda". it's a clear rip off of BEP's "where is the love." not only are the tempo, pitch, and chord changes the same, the chorus is almost EXACTLY the same melody.
don't believe me? sing it yourself:
People killin', people dyin'
Children hurt and you hear them cryin'
Can you practice what you preach
And would you turn the other cheek
Father, Father, Father help us
Send some guidance from above
'Cause people got me, got me questionin'
Where is the love (Love)

tracks are 'heavily influenced
' by other more well-known pop/r'n'b records and not a fan of format (.m4a
i use wmp and mp3 would be better)
but otherwise, highly produced album for free
cheers
