umm when I tried to install, it got through the first disk fine, but when I try to point to the path of the second one (it looks for \GameData\GameData\base\assets1.pk3 ) and I point to the path where it is but it will not recognize it. I really wanted to play this too...

after extensive testing, I could just simply not get the game to install properly. in order to fix the problem that occurs at 44% I re-organized the structure of disc 2 using poweriso, but only found another file not found error when I reached 100%. I tried putting all the files together in one image to see if that would fix it, but all it said was please insert disc one. If anyone has a working solution I would be glad to see it...

This worked for me -

When it asks for assets1.pk3 on disk 2 - Just browse and select the FIRST "GameData" folder on disk 2, NOT the second folder inside the first, and NOT the "base" folder under "GameData\GameData\base\".

Works perfectly... Just install the game using Daemon Tools or something, apply the 1.01 patch, leave the image mounted and have a nice lightsaber fight ^^

1. Install the game.

2. Update the game.

3. Go to www.Gamecopyworld.com and get the no-cd img file.

4. Mount the no cd img in daemon tools.

5. turn all options on it daemon tools

6. Now you should be done

It installed flawlessly...
But now when I am trying to play it, it rams like hell !
On my computer that plays Gears of War, and all the latest game (except crysis) with maximum settings I have 1 frame per second max on this game !
Any one know how to fix this? I updated but it didn't change anything.

I' ve downloaded and installed this game without any problems but when I'm trying to launch single player game there're bugs with graphic (green hills moving with Jaden) in game and even in cut-scenes. Updating game didn't help - game doesn't display characters models but problem with "hills" disapeared. Please help :'(

Okay, for those of you wondering how to install properly, I'll lay it out.

Mount the first cd (nrg file) into daemon tools, wait until it installs up to 47%. When it asks for the new gamedata directory, unmount disk 1 from daemon tools, then mount disk 2 into daemon tools. (Do not change the directory it's looking for, and if you do, just change it back by clicking the overall gamedata folder in the newly mounted image) Click okay, and it should install the rest of the way. When it gets to 100% it will ask you to insert cd 1, when this occurs, unmount cd 2 from daemon tools, and mount cd 1 back in.

**Update, how to crack the game**

To crack the game (after following my install instructions.) go into the torret folder that contains everything you downloaded, open the crack folder, and copy the application named "jasp" (ctrl+c) then go to the directory that follows (C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData) once inside that directory, replace the jasp inside, by typing (ctrl+v) OR by right clicking inside the folder and pasting.

You can also click and drag if you'd like, they all have the same effect. Vista users will get a warning message saying "would you like to replace" just click yes, I know it's annoying but it WILL work.

I have downloaded the game already but I need to know what to do next and I don't know anything about computers pretty much. I don't even know what mounting an image means so if someone could give click by click directions on how to install (e.g. Right click <file name> click copy etc). That would be great for a newbi like me.

First off, get daemon tools. It should have come in the download. After installing daemon tools, a little icon will appear in the taskbar (thing on the bottom right with all the icons) right click it, go up to emulation, and click all options on. Then go to Virtual CD/DVD Rom and click the mount location (for me it's Device: 0 [F:]) Then click mount image. It will then ask you to point it in the direction of the image. Locate the cd 1 file and click okay. After that's all done go through the installation process, when it gets to 47% it will ask you for cd 2, so refer to my two above comments to get further information.

I tried to copy and paste the jasp file from the crack folder into the gamedata folder but it won't let me because the gamedata folder is under read-only. I tried to change the settings but it looks like it's permenant. Does anyone know how to get around this? Apparently, I need to paste the jasp file to get the game to work. Any info would be great. Hello everyone.

For those who get the message "Can't load OpenGL
subsystem" there are as far as I know 2 causes, 1st one is because you don't have the OpenGl drivers, and the second one is because of Vista's User Account Control (UAC). So this is what I advice (worked for me though)

1. Install the latest graphic card drivers (this will install the OpenGl Drivers : I guess only DirectX is supported by Windows default drivers and OpenGL is not)
2. For users under VISTA try to either run the program using Administrative privileges (right click on the EXE) or just deactivate the UAC (the User Account Control) : Not very advisable.

Great upload. What I did was burned the 2 CD's to separate disks and did the normal installation from the game and because I had them on 2 separate disks I could follow the "switch to disk 2" thing then to just be safe I extracted just the crack and replaced the original jasp with it.

Ok so i downloaded the whole thing, yes all those days...anyway, i have power iso i extracted it to my desired directory, then i mounted with daemon tools (wich was lite) and it did NOT work, un-installed lite, then installed the one in the torrent inside...then it still does not work. OK this is my first torrent and i installed it mounted it replaced the jasp thing but now i have stuffed.
When i open it a program called data Execution prevention and it says theres some kind of problem and it needs to be stop it to proteck your computer.
Then it comes up with a thing on how to allow it so i click on 'jasp' and click allow then it says 'This program must run with data Execution prevention (DEP enabled. You can not turn off DEP for this program.

hello good news!!!

with thorough research i finally found the new skins for jedi academy...
u can find it at www.gamespot.com, you must be registered before downloading the files...registration is free...be a spotter member..

i download the darthvader skin and it works great!!! i just copy and paste the file to the base folder and it works...
you can also input:
spiderman
predator
predator cloaked
anakin skywalker
obiwan
samurai
and etc...

I'm confused. I installed with Daemon tools perfectly. I then downloaded the no cd patch from gamecopyworld. It started up normally. I then made my char in single player and when the cutscene started the movie played normally except theres no models for the characters. i thought it was a glitch in the cutscene so i waited til the end of it, then once i started actually playing, my char was invisible. WTF guys. Someone please help me.
