scarecrow2k6 as far as i am made aware they simply distinguish the region cods match the code u need with the game u have hope this helps

i have a problem, i extract all the files into the pcsx2 bios folder but when i go to run them the folder is blank. Please help

dragonflame-anty, then they aren't going there. You are doing something wrong. Try to drag and drop them from the archive into the bios folder.

Works :) , but running extremely slow :'( . Any advice? I have a 2.4ghz amdx2 processor with a great graphics card, so those aren't the issue.

of course your rig is the issue, ditharia! ps2 emulation is resource hungry like hell and still rather experimental, so even overclocked quadcores with sli-dx10-gpus will not produce entirely satisfying results with many games. you could try some speedhacks speeding up the emulation of pcsx2, but it's still trial and error for every single game, no guarantees.

hmm i dont know what to do. i downloaded this torrent and the only thing i got was one file that is called ps2 bios package. there are no other files but that one. what did i do wrong or didnt do? please help

dude, visit the pcsx2 site to know more about the emulator. pcsx2 i believe, requires (minimum) at least a 4 ghz processor, lots of ram and a monster graphics card. unfortunately, your system is way beyond the "minimum system requirements".

i suggest playing using the ps2 console rather than buying or upgrading to a more expensive system just for playing ps2 games. works for me.
