1. Jehovah's Witnesses are not a cult. They do not woship a man (unless you consider Christ Jesus a man). Nor do they speak of any within the oranization (such as the governing body or past presidents) as being important. They place all their faith in Jesus Christ and Jehovah. So by definition, they are not a cult. Every aspect of their lives is spent attempting to build a strong relationship with Jehovah God and his son Christ Jesus, not pleasing some preist or "prophet". They are normal every day people who simply put God first in their lives. Many of them are you neighbors, your work mates. Some have very successful careers. Some are geniuses. Some are famous. But mostly they are all ministers, as commanded by Christ. The point? They are normal people just like you and me who just so happen to believe that Jehovah is the one true God.

2. What did you expect? That God's true followers would have perfect instant truths the very hour they were formed? These men were coming out of false religious practices in the early days after almost 2 thousand years of spiritual darkness, as were Christ's followers, and the early Isrealites who followed Moses. They spent years changing their ways to become more inline with scriptural truths. So of course the older books will have strange beliefs in them! The point is, Jehovah's Witnesses changed their core beliefs rapidly as the light became brighter, unlike all other "christian" religions which still have pagan teachings in them to this very day! You fixate on the occasional oddity from ages past and the imperfections of sinful men in a sinful world, rather than see the bright light of truth before your very eyes!

I ask you, of all world religions, which of them can honestly even come close to ACCURATE, TRUE worship? Which religions do not allow thier members to go to war? Which religions use God's name as a matter of course? Which religions preach door to door as Jesus instructed his followers to do? Which religions can boast that ALL their members have a greater understanding of scriptural knowledge than any others? Which religions show true love among their followers no matter race, age, or nationality?
Before you go bashing something (anything in life really), make sure you think about it first, and try to get your facts straight.

I have read many "apostate" documents and watched many of the videos online. And I have yet to see ANYTHING in any of them that could convince me that Jehovah is not the one true god, or that Jehovah's Witnesses (in all their imperfections) are not the only followers of the true (narrow) path. But, if you feel the need to try to sway others from true worship, that is your perogrative. Be warned though. God IS watching.
And I ask you - if not them, then who? If you believe in the bible, then WHO? Tell me who is following it the closest? And don't give me the cop out answer that "all you have to do is believe" because I have a few dozen scriptures that say otherwise in mind!

I agree completely with you. There are NO OTHER organization in the WHOLE world that teach the truth, the only ONE of course it is the Jehovah's Witnesses.
Unfortunately, this is too difficult to understand for many many persons around the world, because they are too blind, but for many reasons.
Also, to be really a true Christian one needs to make palpable changes, and this is not for all persons. To leave our old personality and to mold our life as Jehovah wants, requires big efforts.
Please, continue ahead, Jehovah really loves humble people!

koala62, sorry I confused you. When I mentioned the term "world" I had hoped the context in which I used it would indicate that it was meant in the sense of the geo-political divisions (countries) in which every person on earth lives. This was the sense Jesus meant regarding his followers in vss. 11 and 15 of the same chapter 17 of John: “Also, I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world", and “I request you, not to take them out of the world, but to watch over them because of the wicked one." I did not mean it in regard to the "world" of mankind separated from God, which is what you correctly understood from Jesus use of the word in the verse you cite. Hope that clears up any confusion.

The Jehovah’s witness (allies Russelites) are a deceiving cult inspired by Satan, who change the truth of Jehovah’s word for a lie and dam mankind’s souls to an eternally conscious lake of fire. When they make one convert they make them twice the sons of hell they were before. The only thing the Russelites put first is their Watchtower Organization then the god of this world (Satan).
It’s the job of biblical Christian’s to expose the Demonic LIES of the Wachtower, because these teaching send people to an eternal conscience state of hell! (Worse than ******)
Jehovah’s Witness come out from among them and be a separate.

2. Believe that Jesus is a created being, Michael the Arch Angel
3. Believe there is two righteous gods (polytheists)
4. Deny the eternal conscience state of hell, calling Jesus a liar
5. Deny that a person has an eternally conscious soul, apart from the body
6. Deny the physical resurrection of Jesus Christ.
7. Believe Jesus 2ND coming has already come invisibly in the year 1914AD,
8. Believe that Jesus was crucified on an upright stake.
9. Believe that the 144,000 mention in Revelations are ‘anointed Russelites class’ and not Jews from the 12 tribes of Israel
10. Not to mention all the false Watchtower prophases made throughout the century
11. And many more errors
