Yeah, those are what I used, but they're the only subs available right now.
There is the option to turn them off, and just watch the movie in Japanese.

Gamecheater2009, you really should dump this version of your DVD and create a new one using the improved subtitles. Higher quality video wouldn't hurt either (hint: l33t-raws).

Someone should try getting hold of the japanese DVD release of SSS, and put some fansubs directly into that and make a torrent of it.

if you understand sentance structures are different in each language compared to english which is the most complicated there is. you canunderstand what is said. i found it will work fine with any raw out . as i did when i used it. i was abit complicated and you could get confused from time to time but taking into account some simple rules of language its ok for now until it does get a real fansub done to it. hopefully the dvd has different subtitles in it already
