Can't get this to work... I'm having the same problem as many others where the game window comes up and immediately closes.

It works fine on my brother's PC though, so I guess it's something in particular with my machine. Any ideas?

I had the same problem.
It didn't like my Old ATI Driver :(

I installed "Catalyst® 7.1 Display Driver for Windows XP" From the site below and it works great.

Yes, i know that now megamarkd. I have installed it, but when i start the game, that protection thing is coming up. And it says that i have to write in the key, but it dont work!! And when i run the .nfo file, nothing hapends. It just says that its something wrong with the file . Help :(

Ok...but those are only for the first time it asks you. It asks you a second time, and the text file doesn't have that at all. But, it also says to move the stuff in the crack directory to the installation directory. How do I do this?

You guys really are stupid. It is a simple as:

Unrar. Burn or Mount the ISO, using Nero, PowerISO, Daemon, whatever. Put in the DVD, install. Register under one of the serials above, in the nfo or in the description page. Then copy the contents from the "Crack" folder into the directory of TrackMania. Play, and enjoy.

Is it really that hard to read instructions?

One question, if we only are required to unrar the first .rar file, then what is the point of all the other .r00, .r01, etc... files? And where is the /crack located? havent done anything with the one iso, just mounted it on poserISO, and it brought up setup, but dont want to go further till i have these questions answered.

Hey smallpau1,all those .rar files are linked to each other so when you exract from the first one it automatically extracts from the rest of them.To find the crack,try exploring the cd/dvd or mounted image for a folder called 'crack'.

i got my 2.08 to work by getting TRACKMANIA[1].UNITED.V0.2.1.0.ENG.DETONATION.NOCD.ZIP
(gamecopyworld)

replace these files with 2.08's

my firewall asked for access and i allow it

now it works

Everybody! Please read this f you want faster downloading! Download only 1 of those .RAR files of 48MB and enjoy!
-I've downloaded all (duplicated)files of TrackMania United, extracted from .ISO file in .RAR to new folder and installed it, then crack, when you access the game, it will ask you for an update, click yes and when updating is finish, crack it again and enjoy!

Pffft! the things we read. YOu need all the files, not just one. If you download just one, you'll be stuck with 48mb of a program that is: 878.38 megabyte in 21 files

These things really are simple. If you would like to play online... buy the game.
Generally if it has a cdkey supplied then that means the other 20,000 ppl that have downloaded this are also using it.
obviously the makers of the game use a cd key to distinguish individual ppl. else they would not bother.
so you can either try and find if someone has released a cd key gen, or buy the game.

p.s. the RAR file is like a zip, but instead of having 1 huge zip, the RAR program breaks it up into many duplicate file sizes. this allows for easier and quicker transfer. When it opens the RAR file or UNRAR's it may seem it only opens the first file, but it actually gets the information from all the files.

some ISO programs do a similar thing. like POWERISO and the .daa extension.

in some cases these ISO programs may allow you to load the ISO direct from the RAR file. not sure tho as i prefer Daemon

anyways. have fun, and please seed for atleast a couple of days to help others.

i dont hink the crack for this works i have tried everything following the instructions carefully but always end up in the same situation.i have mounted no problem installed the game no problem then copy the crack folder into trackmania directory,launch the game click play it asks for player key and that works.then when i try to play the protection notice comes up asking for the disc key which obviously isnt the serials.isnt the crack supposed to prevent the protection :? . if anyone has got this working please help i know there has been loads of comments with this and it should be easy but protection always comes up :(

this is for VISTA ONLY!!!! if you getting tmunited exe stopped working when launching the game.


1. Do a normal install from dvd/iso, do not apply crack from dvd.
2. You need to do the online update. Use the InGame updater to apply the official TrackMania United v0.2.1.0 Patch (no standalone update available). It will download this file TmUnited_DVD_Patch_2006-12-15_Setup.exe to “C:\ProgramData\TrackMania United\Patches” folder. Install it.
3. Goto http://m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_trackmania_united.shtml . locate “TrackMania United v0.2.1.0 [ENGLISH] No-DVD/Fixed Files” section. download file link next to “File Archive [9.0 MB]”
4. Extract the contents of the \CRACK directory to the game directory - Overwriting existing files!
5. Play the Game!

I have news for all you, "RAZA" When i have problems to run trackmania united reloaded, y just copy and paste once again the crack and the dll file, and i can run the game without a problemo the update is unneeded, because there is not way to play online without the original cd key (well, till i know) but if you update the game do you need to copy once again the crack exe to the main trackmania folder.

Well, for those who are not able to play online i have a suggestion: i had upload a little torrent with a track what i did it´s named "Vertigo Stunts" i make a little efford to did it, but there it´s not so funny play with it only me. Thats my idea, we can make tracks and share them.

why are you people trying to play online
do you really expect to be able to play using software you didn't pay for?
also in this day and age it's not good practice to even attempt to play online with pirate games.
it could and will get you caught

if you like it, support it
there's even a free version of this out now
