For your really good quality movies.

Awesome as always aXXo. The torrent world would be a dull place without you mate.

If anyone can be bothered taking the formatting out of the srt file like someone did for Pan's Labyrinth, could you leave a post here?

And if anyone has a better way of playing srt files on a Mac (other than opening a second window in Quicktime) please let me know.

Cheers,

Havanother

Sorry for the newb question, but how do I make sure that the Eng subs play when I play the movie? Or is it automatic? Do I need a specific player?
Thanks
and thanks to Axxo! All I've downloaded from you have been top notch!

9.Posted by gray2k6 on Feb 09 2007 at 12:37

hmm, i dont see the point in ripping to 900 MB, or 800 MB for that matter. i'll have to waste a DVD-R for this anyway, so why not rip to 1,4 GB in the first place??

10.Posted by pliks on Feb 09 2007 at 12:48

bigfuzzy - you need the VLC player. check google

11.Posted by bigfuzzy on Feb 09 2007 at 13:13

Anyone know if there is a request site for movies to be ripped by aXXo. I just cannot seem to get onto the forms and start a new thread there and I would like this really old movie that I remember as being good Ripped.

If you see this aXXo, and you do not mind I am looking for The Manhattan Project (1986) A little cheesy for a movie bit I just cannot seem to find it anywhere in a wide screen format.

Anyways... You do a wonderful job there aXXo, Always look forward to your releases.

StarFire :D

I'm new to this, but I would like to thank axxo for such great movies. This person is great. I don't have a dvd burner, so I can't get movies over 700mb.
Is there any way to break the eg. 1.3gb into two 700mb cds.
Ty.

19.Posted by espenulv on Feb 09 2007 at 17:58

omg stop worshiping axxo, get a life. The movies are good - the end

20.Posted by AloeAndNatural on Feb 09 2007 at 18:22

For those wondering how the .srt file works (for subtitles). You can use any media player as long as the .srt file is in the same folder as the .avi file. If the two are seperate, the subs will NOT work.

Good luck to all and enjoy! :)

21.Posted by AloeAndNatural on Feb 09 2007 at 18:32

...Also the movie was filmed and different languages. When english is not spoken there will be "english" subtitles to accommodate you. :)

aXXo's torrents are always 700 Mb... isnt this a fake? 900 Mb? Why??? Can anyone answer me plz??? Thanks. ;)

25.Posted by chopstickslapper on Feb 09 2007 at 23:32

They are not always 700mb, depends on the running time of the movie I guess! This is NOT fake!

26.Posted by garvani on Feb 09 2007 at 23:33

Everytime axxo releases a movie over 700mb people always question it.. its been explained many many times but here we go again.. have you seen the length of this movie, it runs for 2 and a half hours.. if the file was 700mb it would look nasty, pixelated and not really watchable.. Hence for quality reasons he makes the rip's a little bigger.. would you rather have a slightly bigger file or a movie that looks like ass?

27.Posted by lilbib409 on Feb 10 2007 at 00:11

can anyone help me...im kinda new ta the downloading an i caint figure out how to get the subtitles to work....CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE!!!

28.Posted by Raseel on Feb 10 2007 at 00:22

lilbib409

u can use BSplayer "it's the best multymedia player"
i've ever use , when u open the movie file just choose the second icon on the left "load subtitles " icon , browse your subs then click ok ..
it will work automatcly ..

GOOD LUCK ..

32.Posted by fu_dog on Feb 10 2007 at 02:33

Is there a way to burn subs with the video ?

33.Posted by denof on Feb 10 2007 at 09:42

yes can do, i thouth put the srt file in the same folder as the movie is, then use winavi to convert to dvd-files, if i not mistake its the fastest way to put in subtitle in the movie.

34.Posted by denof on Feb 10 2007 at 09:43

thx axxo, for again a real good quality movie :-)

35.Posted by pethyena on Feb 10 2007 at 14:12

Thank you to whomever mentioned the VLC player forMacs. I downloaded it from the Apple site in about 2 minutes, opened it, checked on the "subtitles" box and Waalaaahh! I now had english subtitles.

I am having a problem with how the subtitles look. In front of the english every line more or less has <font color= "#fffff">. It is annoying but I'm looking for a fix now.

36.Posted by lifeiswar on Feb 10 2007 at 19:36

2 hours and 4 minutes into the movie with about 10 minutes to go.. I'm just wondering about these 6 families? Only four have been included and it said interlocking, but unless something happens over in japan pretty soonish then it'll be a mystery why that family was included.

1. Mexican Family (the woman babysits the american families kids)
2. American Family (the woman got shot on holiday in morocco)
3. Moroccan Family (kids shot the woman)
4. Japanese Family (??? not a clue ???)

who are the other two families? the moroccan guy from the tour bus?
i'm stumped.. anyone want to enlighten me?

37.Posted by lifeiswar on Feb 10 2007 at 19:58

nevermind..

39.Posted by jonnychicago on Feb 11 2007 at 15:24

can i convert this to ipod with "isquint" even if there is a subtitled file? anyone know? if not, how do i convert it with vlc in mac, so that subtitles are hard-encoded?

40.Posted by defilesystem on Feb 11 2007 at 21:38

Is it only me having this problem? I have watched a large number of movies ripped by axxo, actually I was watching another movie from him only minutes before I started watching this one, but this one has annoying stop-and-go's and distortions while playing. Did this happen to anyone else?

41.Posted by chopstickslapper on Feb 11 2007 at 22:07

All of axxo's div x movies play on my kazuki div x player except this one for some reason????

42.Posted by kerplunk on Feb 12 2007 at 00:19

use VLC, for anyone wondering how to play this with subtitles. this did not play choppy for me defilesystem, maybe you should try to DL it again.

the movie itself is fairly good 8/10

43.Posted by defilesystem on Feb 12 2007 at 10:26

Stupid mistake of mine, the movie itself ain't choppy. Problem solved. By all means, worth downloading.

44.Posted by atifhk on Feb 13 2007 at 12:24

Ok..I like aXXos ripping no doubt!
But how the heck am i suppose to play the avi file with the srt.???
I seriously need help.In freakin distress now.

The .srt is in the same folder as the .avi and im using vlc m.player but theres no sub at all.Any idea anyone?

45.Posted by jonnychicago on Feb 13 2007 at 23:16

i used ffmpegx. vlc didnt work for me either. that program (ffmpegx for mac) allows you to re-convert a new file (avi) with the subtitles burnt onto the movie, so it plays in quicktime, etc..

Also, if I want to add subtitles to other movies (which I want to burn to DVD)...which program do I use to add the subs? how? and then can I burn it with NERO 7 Premium?

I havent downloaded this torrent myself, but I see I would have the same problem with it, so...
My problem is I already know VLC will play both perfectly fine, but I'm trying to Mux them together (srt into avi) so I can watch the data on my divx dvd player. I've done VobSub, AviSynth, tried even doing AutoGK...nothing works in muxing the files together. :?
What am I doing wrong here?? I've goggled it a ton and cant find any documentation explaining where I'm not muxing corrently.
Any help?? :r

PS - altho PG may seem safe, google around. It has been taken over by a rogue member. So is it really trustworthy?

Are aXXo releases hot now since companies have caught on? You be the judge

79.Posted by Raztax on May 16 2007 at 11:51

Most DivX players support subs in one format or another. Usually you can burn the .srt file to the same folder as the .avi and as long as the names are exactly the same, the DivX player 'should' display the subs.
Just google your DivX player to see what format it supports. .srt is really common as is .sub/.idx

What's the problem if it's ripped to 900MB.. Everyone's fussing about it not being 700MB.. I'd always prefer 1.4GB AC3 5.1 'cause I prefer burning these onto a DVD and watching it on the home theatre.. Good quality always wins over size. Not that I have a fast connexion.. It takes almost 4 days to get a 1.4GB movie but it's worth the wait.
A humble request to upload more of 1.4GB AC3 movies along with subtitles.. I'm finding it hard to get properly synched subs for Bourne Ultimatum and a few other movies.. if anyone could help..?
