Hi,

I dowloaded your file AUDI RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.rar and I encountered problems while unpacking it. I used Winrar 3.62. The first stage of unpacking was succesfull. The file unpacked to RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.000 to 006 and RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.dvd. However, in the second stage Winrar stops unpacking while dealing with RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.001
Therefore, I cannot unpack the file.
Please help me.

HELP!!!

Hi, I have used Clone CD to create my DVD...

My Nav system has successfully upgraded, however it doesn't work..

"please insert navigation DVD"...

Anyone knows the solution?

There is a parameter in the header of the DVD, named Book Type, wich tells the reader, wheter the DVD is original (DVD-ROM), or a copy (DVD+R). In case of a copy the RNS-E navi system accepts the DVD as a software update, but not as a map. Therefor the image should be burned by Pioneer 111D, or similar writer, wich is able to set the Book Type to DVD-ROM.

I am sorry for my English. I am from Slovenia. I have many problems with backups from this torrent which upgrade only software on RNS-E but do not recognize map. I would be very grateful if you could send me working copy DVD (by post) for reasonal price . If possible copis of both DVD (western and eastern Europa). Please help me. Thank you very much.

hi there.

i have problems unpacking the files.

1. first i unpacked the AUDI RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.rar and got these files:

RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.002
RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.003
RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.004
RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.005
RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.006
RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.dvd

2. i unpacked RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.000 with winrar 3.62. worked fine.
3. now i had problems unpacking the other files...

is there any clue u forgot? how should i burn data i dont have? what abut the size? 7 gb for one dvd? whats my mistake? do i need some special programs?

could anyone give an advice how to handle this torrent?
i have no more ideas.

found a solution

1. unpack the original file
2. mount RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.000 on daemon tools
3. copy dvd with nero (f.e.)
pay attention to select dvd-rom as Book Type in the options
4. have fun

HELP!!!

Hi, I followed soogontaa's (post 10) instrucstions using Deamon Tools and Nero, ensuring that book type for burner set to DVD-Rom.

My Nav system successfully upgraded its software, however it doesn't work as it justs asks for me to "please insert navigation DVD"...

Same problem as AndyVanEck. Oh and old (original) DVD not does not work as it says it's incompatible. HELP!!!!!

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

unpack the .rar to:

RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.001
RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.002

RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.005
RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.006
RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.dvd

then use CLONE CD to burn!!!

do not mount, do not use nero

and i need map the old dvd don't work now

i can't erase the old version

I was in the same situation, with the system asking for the navigation DVD after the software upgrade

Seems like CloneCD doesnt write the block id as DVD-ROM, hence the problem

what i did :
-Burned a DVD with CloneCD from the AUDI RNS-E-NaviDVD2007.rar unpacked files ( it wont work in the nav unit)
- Opened Nero and started a "COPY DVD" project, copying from the DVD above to a new one
- reconfigured the writer (under options) for Book Type- DVD-ROM
- Burned the Copy DVD

Put the newly copied DVD into the NAV unit and..

It works !!!!!

I have this torrent but i have some problem for burn the dvd, i had just burn 6 dvd but not 1 that work...plese someone can help me with a guide complete? the rar have 8 file, what file i can open with alchol120?? i don't have a Pioneer but an LG and a Samsung (dvd+r DL)how i can solve this problem?..i don't want put away other dvd..are very expansive them.

Hi guys, well i figured it out finally after 3 days of tears and sweat on this problem. And about 4 dvds.

I will explain everyone how this works, as the guy above says, you need to let the DVD-R look like a DVD-ROM for the Audi RSNE system.

Well here it goes:
Requirements: DVD-burner that supports bitsetting ; DVD+R Double Layer (it is important its a DVD+R DL, NOT a DVD-R DL) ; CloneCD ( maybe Nero, this depends on you computer skills ).

Well you need a DVD-burner that allows you to change the bitsetting, you need to Google your DVD-burner for bitsetting, some DVD-burners can do it by default, and some like the Pioneer or NEC burners need to be flashed first with custom firmware.
Be sure that if you write with DVD+R DL that your book type is DVD-ROM if you want to see what your default book type is you can download DVDInfoPro (14 day trial).

Part2

1. Unrar the files so you have .000 till .006 + a .dvd file.
2. Put your DVD+R DL in your DVD-Burner.
3. Open up CloneCD (important this is CloneCD , NOT CloneDVD or Nero!)
4. Click the Write From Image File button.
5. Select the .dvd file.
6. Burn the DVD+R DL.

If you want to see if you have made the DVD with the right Book type you can download DVDInfoPro (14 days trial) and go to CD Info. There you have all the information you want about you burned DVD.

Like I said, if you dont know about your bitsetting, you can do the above steps, and then copy it with Nero, so you can manually change the book type.

i've tested the dvd on audi a3 2005 navigation plus rns and it works!

download both dvd-s west and east europe : http://www.xtreme-warez.net/?id=18957

1.
extract the .rar archive Audi.Navigations-DVD-Rom.fuer.RNS-E.Version.2008.GERMAN-SHooTERS.rar

go to the directory and extract the dvd rar archive ( eg DVD2 arnse2k8b.rar )

3
mount the image ( i've used demon tools )

4
open nero and copy the mounted dics to a DVD+R double layerd

and that's it

I've used an asus dvd writer ... this are the steps that i;ve made
