never had a single problem with him in the 12 months i have been downloading LOST.
If you are into movies i also recommend aXXo. only download movies from the user, not the tag. DAMN fakers!!!

Slightly confused by all the positive comments with this torrent - I am an avid fan of eztv - however suspicious about this file... I downloaded it.. came home just now to see it had finished launched it in quicktime prior to burning to disc.. and it is DUFF!
It is a 349mb file but, in fact there is only 1.9mb data and with a 6 second duration!
I've only had this problem with other damaged files once or twice in last 2 years .. All other Azureuas d/loads today are fine so doubt there is a prob my end!!

well, using quicktime isnt the best thing to do. Get VLc from www.videolan.org/vlc and them, come back here to make a valid report.

I dowloaded another torrent for this ep of lost and exctly the same thing happened with quicktime (only 6 secs dur etc etc) .. However
I opened the same file with VLC and .. whooopeeeeeeee
IT IS NOT DUFF...
I stand corrected.... and i'll ignore the derogatory remarks regarding Macs!!!!!!!!!

All I can say to try and encourage you is persevere! I was convinced it was a duffer.
But try with VLC (when i opened the 2nd d/l with quicktime it didnt work .. but VLC did) - there is something diffrent with this file as i can always play my torrent d/l's with QT .... except this one..

sweetchickster: extract the files? which files, it's an avi. Not a rar. You seems to be talking about another torrent. Look in the Detail tab, right here:
Lost.S03E12.HDTV.XViD-Caph.avi (349.39 megabyte)
it's an .avi file. Just open it and watch.

finaldream, sell your computer, you are hopeless.
I downloaded this, it needs no password because it's not in rar. I use VLC, and the avi plays perfectly in it, there's no trojan in this except in your computer.

But the avi file doesn't play well on my Philips DVD player (after 3-5 seconds, it just stop).
I have been able to play all episodes since season 1 (including project runway, heroes & etc) and this is the 1st time I could not play this file on my DVD player 
I'm wondering what encoding setting did he/she used for this episode and this is the 1st time I have downloaded something from CAPH !
Worse still, I could not find any alternative source for 350MB version and I guess I have to watch it using my PC

There was one, almost the same name, rarred, with a pw. That one was deleted by me a couple of hours ago.

the .avi file is damaged at the start of the file, it stops just as kate turns to camera, playing on a divx dvd player, you will need to skip past the start (about 10 or 20 seconds) it's only the reminder of what's happened in past eps so not that big of a deal, but still a bit of a pain, and a slight let down, (This is the only problem I've ever had with EZTV it had to happen sooner or later) anyway, if you are having problems with the file not working just try to skip the recap at the start.

to runesmith and everyone who wants to put lost on dvd use vso dvd conveter 2.1.4.162 u can put 8 eps on one disc in perfect format yeah it takes about 4 hours but well worth it trust me perfect every time

Try Mpcstar it never stuffs up just has good as vlc if not better, Does anyone know how to make bit comet 0.84 download faster?????? I always average about 5-7kbs, listen port is reachable thanks eztv from sydney

Well, better luck next time. This moderator downloaded this exact torrent, it's not rar pw protected and it has no virus in it. You simple have to watch the DETAILS tab on top.
You downloaded another one, which was deleted. This one is OK

OH GOD, where do we start. First off, the release is out of sync 170ms from
25:27 to the end. See our Sample directory for proof of that. Now from there
another host of issues present themselves.
CAPH used OpenDML on the release which causes problems with software and hardware
players. It won't play on most standalones including the otherwise forgiving Phillips
DVP642,Zenith ZDV-512 and Malata and Centrum players. In addition it crashes in Quicktime
7.1.5 on a Mac PPC running OSX 10.4.9

This file only plays on VLC
It does not play in my Samsung Divx Player
try to transcode it is a nightmare.
Caph please stay on regular standars !

is it just me or does everyone else get 6 secs of nothing when playing in quicktime? i can't burn it to dvd using toast 8 either. it only works in VLC. is there another version out there?

To dphdaz and foofighter44: everybody try to convince you to use videolan. It is a good player, but only for computer. On my PC the avi file works great. But I had the same problem when I tried to see the file on DVDplayer, after 6-7 seconds it stops. So, yeah, the file has some problems. But you can fix it very quick and easy:
1. check Google for "Nandub"
2. Open Nandub
3. Open the downloaded avi file.
4. Go to video - tick box: direct stream copy
5. Go to Audio - tick box: direct stream copy
6. Go to Audio - intervaling - set Preload 0 / Intervaled audio every 1 / Delay 0 (choose fs - frames) - IMPORTANT!
7. Go to File - Save As AVI...
done.
It worked for me, so I hope it will work for you. Thanx to "floatin", who posted this advice on a romanian torrent site.
And many thanx from Romania to EZTV, keep it that way!

scrub the last comment, discovered it's an issue with the latest quicktime update (7.1.5). "perian dot org" has open source codecs that you can download to sort it out. cheers.

What on earth happened on the end, for some reason my computer cuts out about 30seconds (( my computers fault not the downloads)) of the end of the episode so could someone tell me what happened? Last i saw was Jack running when kate, locke, sayid had found the others, Why was jack running, please someone write back,
