I'm not sure why the game isn't working for me. I think i did everything right.
I downloaded, extracted both versions, installed both versions, but neither work for some reason. It tells me to insert the CD-Rom and retry, but I already have the .nrg file mounted. Shouldn't it work? are you able to use daemon tools for the mount?

Nevermind I figured it out, I just needed to move to crack file to the installed foldered, then extract there and use that icon to play. thanks for the d/l great game.

Same problem here: I don't get the game installed. Even if I go explore and try install there. How you get it work?

The main CIV's AUTORUN is not working.
But I explored and executed the SETUP.EXE and Installed normally
The CIV Conquest autorun is working so just Next/Next/Next...
Then applyed the patches (I did in this order):
1) CIV3 v 129 f;
2) CIV3 Conquests v 122 full;
3) CIV3 PTW 127 f;
Cracked those 3 files.
Them enjoyed.

heya folks,
No idea wot im really doin with this program. Have so far mounted all the files in the Civilization 3 [ENG] file using Winmount but when i click on them it says it doesn't support that type of file, which is a NRG file. No idea where to go from there. A step by step guide would b useful if ne one would b willing. failing that just a helping hand. cheers.

ok, ***** that, i got it working, but now wen i try to load it from the mounted crack file it says binkw32.dll was not found. wot the hell does that mean and how do i fix it????? plz help!!!!!!!!!

DOES this d/l work or not? Anyone? Tried it once, couldn't get it to work, deleted everything. SINCE THEN, I've gotten a much better feel for Daemon and WinRAR, including managing to get a nice (but difficult) copy of Master of Orion III to work (great game, recommend it). But before I go to the trouble of D/L-ing this whole thing again, can I get a definitive answer on whether it works or not? Thanks peeps!

use winrar in stead of deamon tools. make it a self unpacking file . and then just play

For All The People Who Find It Hard To Install....Here Is Your Free Step By Step Instructions.......1st Things 1st Once Torrent Is Complete Open The Folder Entitled :::Civilization 3 Full:::Then Open The Folder Entitled:::Civilization 3[ENG]:::From Here You Will Need Winrar To Extract The Files Within The Folder........When Winrar Opens And You See The File Labled "Civilization 3 [ENG]".....Right Click...And Click On "Extract To The Specified Folder"...Choose Desktop...It's Easier For You To Find!...Once Winrar Completes You Will See On Your Desktop A New File Labled "Civilization 3 [ENG].nrg"...For Now Let's Leave The File Alone,And Do The Same Steps We Just Took Towards Another File....Extract The Folder Entitled "Civilization Play The World & Conquests" To Your Desktop As Well....

I vahe the same problem of rubenvd.
There are many RAR files. must i extract alls or only one?
I have extracted one with winrar, mount with daemon tool lite, and when i click on setup.exe file one form is open and the title is "Confirm file deletion"! :-(

i have reed and done as comment #18 but when i click on setup icon did not appear install window but "confirm file deletion" window.
my setup.ini is:

Hello this message is mainly aimed at the communist K but any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for the step by step instructions dude, i have gotten to the last stage of your instructions. installing the cracks. However, when i extract to specified folder its does not show as program files..ect, and when i try and search for the Civ folder in my program files it does not appear.
I also tried opening the file directory and plasting the cracks by right clicking the desktop icons, but it says that i need to insert the disc. this happens with both civ III and conquests.
The installation steps seemed to go off without a hitch, so i do not understand why the program file folder does not exsist and why i get the insert disc notifications.
Any ideas mate?. Thanks alot,

No worries, problem solved. The folder was under infogames and not civ III....i feel suitably ashamed.

how do i uninstal this? i tryed uninstaling it from the control panel and it says i have to "uninstall the previous versions before installing the new version", i think its because of the patch update, anyone can tell me how to uninstall it?

ummmm ok dose anyone realize that to play civ 3 YOU DON'T NEED A CD THE GAME WAS DISINGHED SO THAT YOU DON'T NEED ONE. IF ANY OF YOU HAD ACUALY GONE TO A STORE AND BOUGHT THE REAL THING YOU WOULD KNOW SO STOP ASKING EACHOTHER ABOUGHT HOW TO GET THE NO CD CRACK.

i found the solution for people who are using vista. u have to turn off your UAC (user account control), in order to be able to extract the files. u can find the UAC under Control Panel ---> User account.
Turn off user account control and then restart to let the comp take effect. then proceed to extract the files. i'm not sure if winrar will allow to extract. if winrar, fails, try using 7zip to extract. it works for me!

OK this is for anyone who can help me so anyone who knows *** they are doing with this btw i would like to thank communist k for his step guide it made installation alot easier
my problem is that i have installed the game but i cant start it because it still sais i need to have the cd even though i have extracted the cracked game to the proper folder.. i think that i need to move it to a folder but im not sure which folder that is i think i installed it correctly everything went smoothly but i just cant figure this last part out any help would be appreciated

when i start unraring all that parts it always offers me to call the file Civilization 3 [ENG].nrg so do i rename other parts as Civilization 3 [ENG] pt2.nrg or how to do this?

great torrent for those that are confused on the Rar process open the file location right click on one of the rar apps and extract here click they all are extracted together no need to go to each one and extract each one........already seeded letting my computer relax thanks again uploader

Why not just right click the mounted image to explore and click on installation from there. Simple.
