'Sup bro...thanks for the reply. I don't even bother with other game torrents since finding yours. I did try to find a copy of SH3 cuz I'm new to the series, and read about part 3, it looks good. Found a torrent, but it was a dead end, problems finding a crack, I googled my nuts off and can't find a crack or a good RIP of it.
I just finished my 5th SHIV mission, Its weird that I don't experience the bugs that many encounter, some, but its very playable.
I'm downloading 'Boiling Point' right now, looks fun...see ya.

Hey runningdeer , funny you should mention SH3.
My next torrent is SH3 RIP, patched all the way up through 1.4 version.
So, look for it in a day or so, personally, I like it hella better then SH4.

Ok, GUYs, HERE's the DEAL: 
NO ONE can yet update to 1.2. Full version or rip version.
The execuatble has been cracked but the 'patch' contains even MORE securerom security features then any other version as of yet.
i.e.- MAKING the game UNPLAYABLE after about 1 hour in to it.
SO: Stick with 1.1 version until the PROPER 'scene' groups can get this sorted. When it is, I will release a 1.2 patch for this version game.
A bummer, yes, but at least 1.1 is playable.
This advice goes to anyone with ANY version of SH4.

Oh, I just can't play the game. It said that it couldn't find d3dx9_32.dll and told me to re-install...help plx!

Hey dopeman -=AKA-Howitzer=- here, just to say that all of ur games are sound as a pound and i give you alot of respect for what you have done even though it's classed as illegal, but i dont care what the law say's, you da man..... Silent Hunter 4 worked ok, but it glitched alot on all my pc's, id get 2d characters and fast moving clouds and sporatic crashes and the it would start responding again... so gonna DL your new copy now... Plz Plz Plz keep up the awsome work, I look forward to your next release dude...

stick with dopemans sh3 rip its a better game as always a quality game from one of the best

Dopeman, thanks again for amazing work. I've been into the scene since the mid 80s when I was on a ****py C64 and a 386 PC. It's not like it was back then, where there were a whole slew of teams and people releasing stuff. Major phat g ***** style props to you.
Airsangel, to answer your question: Silent hunter 3 was awesome. It's German U-boats and in a totally different part of the world than sh4. I find SH3 to still be a great simulator.

This RIP ****s to rip the files directory instead of the dvd is not a good idea, but to rip a cracked files directory is one ****in bad idea.
Can't install updates and expansion pack.

This rip works fine, but as far as i can tell the game is so bugged in this state it is unplayable. Crashes to desktop often, unending storms with no visibility in missions, sonar/hydrophone never works, and countless graphic glitches (eye popping on crew, 2d ship crew). Ive never seen to many bugs in one game. Not worth anyone's time.

How come this torrent is like 25% in size relative to all the other ones of Silent Hunter 4? Those are like 7, 8 gigs and yours is only 2!

So...I luv this game, I use the first one you ripped. Is this version better in any way? I just wondered, cuz honestly I'm not sure what a 'PROPER' rip is. The first torrent of SHIV works fine for me, other than the game bugs.
Thanks again for creating this torrent. I'm having a blast playing this one.
WW2 simulators of almost any kind are interesting, to me.
