I just downloaded this program and got the same problem. This is what it says when I try to use the crack. [VersionTrackerPro.exe] not found!!!

Ok to fix the problem you guys are having you simply take the crack exe file and put it in the Version Tracker folder and then run it. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to help to much because the program still asks me to register. I also copied the other two filed into the Version Tracker folder but it seems to have no affect. If someone who got it to work could give us a hand that would be great

figured it out ok after you copy those other files in and have cracked the program you just need to click the.reg and let it update the registry! Hope this helps

Unfortunately the crack provided with this software does not appear to work at all - at least following any of the instructions above. You may need to source a crack from elsewhere to successfully use this.

One further step required from post 11 and that is to double click on file the.reg. Easy once you know how.

worked fine with what ppl have said. no probs, just extract to folder where you installed, run the crack file,double click the tbe file and say yes

So...
1. File-extract on the desktop.
2. Open this file and install VersionTracker
3. Make copy tbe (Registration Entries) and paste in the folder C:/Program Files/TechTracker/Version Tracker Pro
4.Make copy from crack and paste in the same folder.
5. Activated crack in the folder.

Downloaded the torrent, extracted the files, run the install package, copy the crack file to the VersionTracker Pro directory in C:/Program Files/TechTracker/Version Tracker Pro, if using vista, right click file and click "Run as Administrator" and that will successfully patch the file, otherwise it patches fine, after that, double the registry file, and select "Yes" to import registry files into windows registry, all works well here...

Right click on the registry file and choose "Open With" and choose the correct program that of which I do not know... Hope this helps....

Installation and crack works fine.
But when I run the program and click "Check updates" it gets a list of all my devices but doesn't give any information on whether its up to date or out of date... So basically, this program doesn't work for me.
Any ideas?

Great program, works well.
If your reg file deosn't work because it's 'invalid', manually enter it.
Right click on the reg file and select edit. The notepad should pop up. Keep that open.
Then, hit start, run, then enter 'regedit'. Then follow the notepad to 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\tracker'.
Then just click and drag the reg file into that area. Done!

Here's what you do. Extract crack exe to Version tracker Pro install folder.THE CRACK FOLDER will be Folder (VersionTracker Pro 3.6.1). Open that folder (which will be the patch) move the patch inside the (VersionTracker Pro directory .Go back to Rar file and double-click Reg.entries,add to registry. Now go back to patch and apply and all should be good!

I have tried ALL of the above to get the programme to work but so far, no good.
Where on earth is this tbe [registry] file? I have looked in the folder the programme is running from, where the crack exe is, no sign of it?
I can get the crack .exe to say that the programme is successfully patched but when I run the programme I am still asked to "free scan" "purchase" or "register". When I click register I am asked what my password is, cannot get any further.
Help please.

If anyone is still having trouble with this here's help!
Click start > RUN > type in regedit.exe and hit enter
Open the folder where you installed this and copied the other files (crack and tbe ((reg file))...)
In registry edit click on techtracker folder and copy tbe.reg file to this location
(be careful you put it in the right folder and that you do not delete or move anything else! This is a dangerous location of the PC if you do not know what you are doing!!)
Once this is done close registry edit and when you click versiontracker pro it will work as long as you have CRACKED it.

Same problems as essntuki listed on her first post: no tbe.reg file, no patch notice. Have followed the suggested fixes in this forum thread, still no deal.
1) Extracted VT Pro(VTP) file to desktop
2) Installed VTP using the installer found within the VTP folder on desktop.
3) Copied and pasted the Crack folder from the VTP desktop folder into the 'program files', tech tracker, VT Pro folder
4) No teb.reg files to be found anywhere. Too, no 'patch' notice received.
5) Run VT Pro
6) Check for updates
7) The necessary listings are produced but no options, except for the 'check update' and 'report' options, are avaiable to me.
Where did I go wrong?

Does work, also contains crack and .reg file. Great program.
