Stephen Fry is a great actor and writer, but not, alas, the narrator or author of the Harry Potter series. These books are by JK Rowling, and narrated by Jim Dale. They are, of course, quite excellent.

I like Stephen Fry, but I wouldn't say I like him more or less than Jim Dale. Stephen Fry is different. I do like the more involved reading of the books though, like the way the characters seem more real when Stephen reads and how recitations of letters and thoughts are given an echo affect.
By the way, I have all but Philosopher's Stone. Could anyone upload just that one?

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS IF YOU ARE ON A MAC 
it is in .daa format and there is no way to access it on a Mac!!! Just wanted to let y'all know.

Has anyone had any problems with the mp3 files from this torrent? They are tagged as mp3's but I can't get them to open in iTunes at all and when I try to open them with WMP I get a "file not supported" error...

ok maybe ive missed something, but these are listed as audio books. when u open them they come up under acrobat reader as a pdf file
