ok guys here's where I'm at. I've installed both versions of the game but every time i try to play, it says insert the correct cd. now Im pretty sure this has something to do with the crack file. I've located a crack file on the iso that has the warlord version in it (is this the correct one?). Now where exactly do I paste this specifically?I tried two different locations:
C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4
C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\
but its still not working. so wat am i doing wrong?

After installing the two games and updates you put the cracked Civilization4.exe in C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 and be sure to overwrite the existing file then put the cracked Civ4Warlords.exe in C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Warlords again overwriting the old file. From there you should restart your computer for best results then play the game!

I was able to successfully use daemon tools to install Civ. IV but when I try to do the same thing with the Warlords expansion and I go to click on the setup icon it won't work. I get this halt message: "E:\setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application". I'm not sure why it's not working when it worked to install Civ. IV. Any ideas/guidance would be much appreciated!

umm...it says I need a disk..I put the crack in the civ. folder and the crack in the warlord folder, but I didnt overwrite anything so I don't think I pasted it right.

This torrent worked perfectly. Download was fairly quick and after a few small issues i resolved with info posted here I have this game up and running. What I had to do was move the .exe files from both civ 4 and warlords folder and replace with the cracked versions. Great game as well.

Hmm, anyone have this problem, I've installed this just fine...then due to my hard drive crashing I reinstalled everything. I redownloaded this torrent again, and reinstalled it, but it keeps on asking for Disk 0 when I try to install it now....Didn't have a prob installing it before...

FIX for ERROR
"Civilization4.exe Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point _BinkShouldSkip@4 could not be located in the dynamic link library bink32.dll"
This will occur if you have not installed the Warlords part.
When you install this it updates the version of the Civ 4 program and resolves this issue.
Ensure all elements of this download are installed before running game.

ok i downloaded it and i have the folders and all but in thw folders is just the shortcut and after i puted in the crack and i clicked it it says
this application has failed to start because binkw32.dlll was not found. re-installing the application may fix the plroblem
so i tried to delete so i can reinstall but i cant find anything that says uninstall, its not evan in the add/remove place in the control panel where u delete stuff, plz someone help me out

This is the first game i've ever tried to download and crack ever. I have really no idea what i'm doing, but after following the instructions i have a few questions:
Do i need a DVD-R/RW to write this game onto? if not, why won't a CD-RW work?
What the hell is mounting a file? i've never ever heard this term before this thread.
Is this really as simple as double clickin on the ISO files and writing them to a cd/dvd.
Once the Civ 4 ISO has been extracted and written am i done with the DVD/CD?
I realize that this a a very friendly download but i'm not sure i have the tools to make this happen, please help.

Words of warning to rogers/shaw ISP users:
I received an e-mail from Rogers EAU(a security division) regarding the downloading of "infringed material". The letter basicly read "this user(me) has been using bittorrent to download infringed material..." they used this exact torrent as an example.
I contacted my ISP and they said they do NOT take action to prevent downloading of this material outside of notifying the ISP user, but suggested that a 3rd party(2k games) might just do so.
I'm not sure what i'm going to do. I'll probably just delete this torrent
and find another, or just buy the game again outright. You do whatever your comfortable with. I just wanted to let you know that this torrent IS monitered by my ISP(at least).

On the other hand, this is a fantastic torrent, convieniently laid out for easy install. Even after two hopelessly posted messages, i figured it out with some instruction. But it still helps to know the difference between mounting and burning and how to unrar something properly. We were all Inexperienced at some point, so how about you guys cut it out and just be helpful to us who maybe just got a PC that isn't a pentium 1 . Thanks and have a good day.

Just follow Crack....
1. Get WinRar
2. Use WinRar to extract the downloaded .rar file
3. Go to extracted files, Burn CIV4 ISO onto Disc
4. Put disc in disc tray, manually run setup and install CIV4
5. Burn Warlords ISO onto Disc
6. The Setup auto runs, install the Warlords expansion (It will make you update CIV 4 first but no worries)
7. Run Warlords Update, and update
8. Copy Cracked EXE to CIV 4 folder
9. Copy Cracked Warlord EXE to Warlord Folder within CIV4 folder
10. AND YOUR DONE

i researched the problem that i was having in post 111 and downloaded the missing files of binkw32 and boost_pythoon... but now its saying :
_BinkShouldSkip@4 for warlords and
_BinkSetVolume@12 for civ4
after googling this i see that theres 100s of people having the same problem because this is the crack version and not original.
whoever got this to work how did u get by this problem?

Hi everyone, I'd really like to play this game again but it downloads so slow, despite the fact that it says there are 91 seeders i only use five at a time. It also says my download will take somewhere around 4-5 days. I'm using UTorrent and my DL speed is 526 kb/s upload 295 kb/s. Latency 55(What is latency by the way?) When I tried to install the Warlords expansion set...it must be missing a file (or a critical file is corrupted). Thanks to a close friend, I managed to use just that CD to get over that process...the Beyond the Sword ISO is working just fine.

Help!!! i download the patch and now i can't open or uninstall the game. When i try to open it, it says this application has failed to start because D3CX9_32.DLL was not found. Re-Installing the application may fix this problem. When i try to delete it, it says error( -5004 : 0x80041f42)has occurred while running. What should i do?

ei, when i mount the image, appear a message that said that the " SETUP.exe " found a problem!

FIX SOLUTION FOR:

AFTER INSTAL CIV4 , UPDATE IT TO V1.61 THEN DL CRACK AT LINK.

uhm guys i followed all the steps and mounted, installed, updated and copied both cracks to the location they have to be but when i turn the game on; then both versions freeze up saying "PLease insert the correct cd-rom" or something.

hey im currently downloading this game atm.. i was just wondering if this is the latest civilization game and is it the full one? im also new with mininova and utorrent so i need some basic help on how to install this game please, it is much appreciated that someone with the right knowledge gives me a basic run through of how to install the entire game and what else i need to install to play this game . PLEASE HELP ME,
I understand that from what people have said this is really simple but i cant figure the damn thing out even with you help so far. I have downloaded the torrent used Winrar to extract the files then i get lost. What the hell am i supposed to copy, and where to. WTF is mounting, unless less its ***ual inuendo i have no idea. Some one please tell me what to do next!!!!

This is the best setup for a torrent I've ever DL'ed. Didnt even read the README file. Just open folder #1, then 2 and so on! Havent tried the game yet. I know it works cuz its too well set up.

1.download torrent file
2.un rar torrent with winrar
3.find where you unrared the files too
4.burn the iso's civ4 to a dvd and warlords to a cd"" i used nero9 burning rom""
5.put civ4 disk in and install
6.put warlords disk in and install
7.find C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4
8.copy civ4 crack to that folder and make sure it over writes the old file with the crack
9.find C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Warlords
10 copy warlords crack to that folder make sure you over write the old 1
restart and play
now i did just what i said and it works fine the only thing i have probs with is update 174 if you up date it kills the game and you need to recopy the crack files to get it to work again
off line works flawless

I cant seem to get it to work the instal went fine but it still asks me to insert disk, im new to the torrent world so if someone could help me out that would be great. thanks.
