eyyy i couldnt wait to download dis torrent, when i opened it all the files were their but wouldn't open in itunes or media player. I tried to copy the files into another folder but that wouldnt work. could you help me out.

3.Posted by Team_BoB on May 19 2007 at 10:49

All I can think of is that the torrent did not finish? Make sure the extension are still on the end of the file, make sure it has .mp3 on the end of the file names. Eg. 2-01 Better Day (Original Mix).mp3

Try dragging the files from the folder into the iTunes window?

Team BoB.

Matt, what exactly is your problem? The files display an error when trying to be openned in iTunes? Try openning with Quicktime and VLC player and see if there are any errors there.
The Mp3's should open like any other Mp3.

Those who are having trouble playing the media:
Please make sure iTunes is totally up-to-date (Version 7.1.1): http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

Make sure Quicktime is totally up-to-date (Version 7.1.6): http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html

Havn the same prob as these guys. have dl an random songs wont play but size etc and other details for the files are there however - the songs that do play contain more detailed info in a mouse-over. i.e album name rate etc etc. I am updating quicktime as requested but i do have the latest itunes 7.1
Also noted in utorrent failed several hash checks. (i thought this only happend when virtual dmz porting). ???

hi team bob. just tryin a few things and i opened this file thru foobar 2000 v.0.9.4 and works fine. Weird. Still wont play thru itunes tho.

13.Posted by casboult on May 20 2007 at 12:20

yer i ran it through foobar as well and it works, hmm also it aint the greatest torrent, the tracks must of bin split or something from one giant track cos in between each track there is a slight jump between successive tracks which isnt normal so i think ill wait until a better torrent is released

14.Posted by casboult on May 20 2007 at 12:35

HAHA I figured it out wat ta do ok

download foobar 2000

now open all tracks with foobar 2000 and that will put them into a play list

now convert each into WAV form (size of each is massive but wait theres more)! cos now u can play it wityh media player and itunes

now transfer each newly converted track into itunes

now convert to AAC format (consequently the size shrinks back to its normal size!)

and there we have it!!

15.Posted by matt007 on May 20 2007 at 14:03

sorted !

Just followed the above, cheers buds !!

***IMPORTANT*** ***AAC RELEASE***: http://www.mininova.org/tor/713663
TO THOSE WHO CANNOT PLAY MP3'S IN ITUNES PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING ARTICLE:
http://marv.kordix.com/archives/000279.html

As I am on Mac I am unable to be of too much assistance in this matter.

In short you may have to fix some of the MP3's header's if they refuse to play in iTunes. Only some people seem to be having a problem with this, but in the meantime I am seeding an AAC version of the album for those who wish to download.

Another option if files dont work:
- try copying the individual folders (CD1 and CD2) to a separate folder or directory (eg desktop) and the MP3 file names within each folder should become smaller.
This error occurs because Mac OS X accepts longer file names than Windows. Either way, the file names simply have to be shortened to make them work.
I believe.

Let me know how you go anyway.

Team BoB.

19.Posted by ggrodd on May 21 2007 at 11:09

The above option works! All the files can now be opened using iTunes from the new folder.

Thanks Team BoB.

good work casboult, also for those interested foobar has a plugin that uses nero to burn to cd - then i just imported the cd into itunes. (easy as)just google the plugin etc. Thanx once again Team_BoB. u r da shizzle.

Ugh, having troubles with BitLord. Some weird error - "No Error"...followed by the file location of the 3rd somg on the first disc. Then I tried downloading it without the 3rd song, got the same error with the 20th song, and once again with the 18th song on the 2nd disc. So I had to start downloading it without those 3 songs. Hope that made sense. :?

Y'all relax now.. ;)
I dl this torrent two weeks ago and just couldn't
maipulate any of the files..
but team BoB your post on May 21 hit it!
Just right click on the folder you dl torrent to, then
copy and then create a new folder elsewhere. Right click in new folder
and paste original directory to the new one.
This works for Win XP. yee har!
