Can anyone tell me why movies (like this one) are sometimes rar-split into bits of 15 Megabytes as opposed to having the entire movie in one piece ?

oh dear, you are serious when you say you dont understand splitting into Rar files.

All scene releases like tis are split into 15 meg rars, its only peeps who re upload the unrar'd version often removing nfo files and samples along the way.
