We in the file-sharing community have access to a wide variety of content from many points of view. We can be more well-informed than the commercial TV/Cable viewing public by consuming content from different sources. Some of it we'll agree with and some we won't. At least we can be open to many points of view and then truly DECIDE FOR OURSELVES!
You may initially be adverse to viewing this documentary because it was made possible, in part, to MoveOn.org because you may ne of the opinion that it is too paritsan. But if you can put that aside for 77 minutes, you'll see and hear former FOX employees relating their personal experiences of how they were directed on what and how to report the news of the day. Don't be quick to dismiss this because of who was involved in delivering it.

Kathleen Hall-Jamieson, the director of the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennslyvania, spoke on Bill Moyers (10/10/08) on how people need exposure to credible sources of news so that they're able to hear the other side: "its difficult because of the way we hunker down in our own ideaology for us to hear when our own side is not telling us the truth".
Be open to many sources of information in order to develop and refine your own critical thinking so that you can truly decide for yourself and not simply repeat the opinions of others.
