Could someone please tell me how to get this working? I have unrard and have a resulting 4 files which i dont know what to do with??Should i burn them into an iso? thanks.

Works well but is an old copy of Ubuntu and needs to be updated via the System - Administration - Update menu. Will take at least an hour to do this on a regular DSL connection. Reboot and run update again.

As suggested by the username, you should change both root and user passwords if you plan on using Ubuntu in anything but an evaluation capacity.

You will also need to install VMWare Tools, which requires some very minor knowledge of the command line. This Ubuntu will uncompress the tar.gz inside the GUI but to install, you will need to change directories in the Terminal program and type "sudo ./vmware-install.pl" ... then enter your password (ultimate).
