Thanks for getting this up so quickly.. Couldn't bear the thought of listening to Jim Dale, I'm sure he's a fine fella and all but Fry is the Genuine Article..
Long Live the Order!

Thanks for posting this, I too prefer Stephen Fry over Jim Dale, I have all the Harry Potter audiobooks by each narrator and find that Stephen Fry's wide range of character voices better than Jim Dale's
I recently re-listened to all 6 books in anticipation for Deathly Hallows, just finished Half-Blood prince last thursday
Thanks again

This appears to have no seeds right now, which is not good. If there are any seeds out there, please join in. I'm desperate to hear this.

Hey im downloading w/ one seed and 500 leechers and i was wondering why there are so many 1mb files and how you're meant to listen to them if they stop every 30 seconds... unless it tells you what to do in the nfo, can someone tell me if im missing sumthing...

the uploader said it was guess work with chapter names, looking at the track numbers they are sequential and the length of the following chapter the three brothers seems too long for the book(twice as many tracks as the other chapters, read it yesterday), so what I am trying to say is chapter 20 is more than likely carried over into the three brothers but has been named incorrectly as the track numbers seem correct....

Hiya folks, uploader here. First thanks for the kind words, I only wish I could've got all 20 discs ripped a little sooner
Secondly, it being the weekend I'm limited to uploading only from my home internet connection, so I apologize for the speed - also being in England means it'll be a bit slower for those of you on the other side of the puddle.

Just to let people know that tracks 1-25 on Disc 11 relate to Chapter 20 Xenophilius Lovegood & tracks 26-55 relate to Chapter 21 The Tale Of The Three Brothers.
Thanks for much for putting this up!

Finished the book on Saturday so no fears of spoiling listening so have checked the beginning tracks for each chapter - sooo soothing listening to Stephen Fry say "Chapter ..."
All the chapters begin as the listing apart from the following:
Chapter 17 starts at Disc 9 track 30
Chapter 21 starts at Disc 11 track 26
Chapter 23 starts at Disc 12 track 35
A big thanks to the uploader of this - you were so quick off the mark to get this up!

Thanks uploader! I've deleted the Dale edition to make room for this! And thanks piat, your chapter fixes are helpful.
BTW, does anyone know how to merge audio files? I would like one mp3 for each chapter.

If you want to join the files i use ---BOILSOFT AVI/MPEG/RM/WMV Joiner---
and YES IT DOES JOIN MP3
BUT if you do use it DONT rename the file untill it has been joined or else it will convert it to MPEG lol

Thanks Thekea for the Fry version.
I've been holding back listening to anything his version was up.
And also thanks Piat for the link.

It downloaded with larger size then Azureus was expecting, I'm going to redownload to be safe. Any similar experiences?

Stephen Fry's version is superior to Jim Dale's. I grew up with Stephen Fry shows so his voice just sounds so familiar. J.K. chose him for the UK version because as she said his voice sounds like an old friend reading the books.
Jim Dale is a bit too animated for my tastes...more suited for Americans maybe?

You, Sir (or Madam), are a star!
Stephen Fry reads these just so perfectly - I'm sure that Jim Dale does an excellent job, but I can't see how he can better Mr. Fry!
Just to confirm - I've only listened to one file (as that's all I've got so far) but this does appear to be genuine.
